(she/her)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker serving clients in Nevada. I specialize in trauma and related disorders, grief & loss, life transitions, as well as a variety of other mental health issues you may be experiencing. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, where I prioritize collaboration and a sense of security in our work together. I respect your pace, choices, and boundaries, and we focus on building regulation and stability before exploring anything that feels overwhelming. My goal is to support your healing in a way that feels empowering, compassionate, and grounded in your strengths.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. It’s normal to feel nervous—therapy is a process we’ll build together over time. We’ll move at your pace, one step at a time, and I’ll be here to guide you throughout.
I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences with you as an empathetic partner. If we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient.
I'm passionate about working with those who have been impacted by trauma and am trained in several evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, IFS, CBT, and ACT. In addition, I also have expertise in treating depression and anxiety.
EMDR
As an EMDR therapist, I work collaboratively with clients to gently process experiences that may still feel overwhelming or stuck in the nervous system. Using bilateral stimulation, we support the brain’s natural ability to heal while prioritizing choice, consent, and emotional regulation throughout the process. The goal is to reduce distress, strengthen a sense of safety and empowerment, and help clients move forward with greater ease and resilience.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT can help clients to understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, while honoring lived experiences and sense of safety. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and develop coping strategies that feel practical, empowering, and respectful of each client’s pace. The focus is on building skills that support regulation, self-compassion, and meaningful change in daily life.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Using ACT therapy, I help clients build awareness of their thoughts and emotions without judgment, so they have more choice in how they respond to them. We focus on developing acceptance, mindfulness, and self-compassion while gently reducing the struggle with painful internal experiences. Together, we clarify values and support clients in taking meaningful, values-guided steps.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Using IFS therapy, I help clients gently explore and understand their inner parts with compassion and curiosity. We move at a safe, collaborative pace to support healing, balance, and a stronger sense of self.
