I believe in therapy as someone who has done my own clinical work since I was in my mid-twenties. I grew up in NJ and moved to Michigan to attend college and have been here since that time. I spent the first part of my career working in the foster care system with children and adolescents which I really enjoyed. That gave me a great foundation for working with the adult issues of attachment, child developmental stages that were not accomplished and struggles with current relationships.
I do a lot of work with people who were raised by narcissistic parents, people who are dealing with cancer diagnosis and those with chronic or life threatening illnesses. I work with people who are addressing childhood trauma, sexual abuse or emotional abuse. I have worked with adoptees who are seeking understanding of themselves and their past. I do a lot of work with individuals transitioning from a divorce situation and all the adjustments that this involves especially in coparenting situations. I find people and their life experiences fascinating and always worth unpacking and investigating to gain a better understanding of the self as a whole being; there is always something new to learn.
I offer a warm, supportive space for people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. As a Marine Corps veteran, I bring deep respect for resilience, lived experience, and the courage it takes to seek support. My work is compassionate, collaborative, and paced to honor your nervous system, your story, and your goals. I support clients in building self-trust, emotional resilience, and clarity, while gently releasing patterns that no longer serve them. I also provide integration support for clients processing psychedelic or altered-state experiences, helping translate insight into grounded, sustainable change in daily life.
If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy, now is a good time to reach out. I currently have immediate availability for new adult clients and offer secure telehealth throughout Michigan and Florida.
Maybe you’ve been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that you can’t seem to change. You may be functioning well on the outside while privately struggling on the inside. You might be overthinking, having difficulty managing your emotions, feeling disconnected, or carrying the effects of experiences that still affect you today. Sometimes you may not even know exactly what you need, you just know that something needs to change.
I work with adults (18+) and couples experiencing trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, grief, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. I also support clients navigating ADHD and other challenges that may be affecting their emotional well-being and everyday life.
Opening up to someone you’ve never met can feel uncomfortable, especially when you're already dealing with something difficult. You don't need to come to your first session with everything figured out, and you don't need to know exactly what to say. We can start wherever you are.
I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is not to tell you what you should do, but to help you better understand yourself, explore different perspectives, recognize patterns, and work through the things that may be getting in the way of the life or relationships you want.
Hi I'm Gaby. If you have been feeling sick and stuck in a negative thought process and wondering if there is anyone who can understand or help you, let's talk. I am here to help you experience change and escape from the pattern of life that has left you feeling different, unwell, and stuck.
I am first and foremost a Trauma Informed Recovery Therapist. This means that I believe in you and I believe in your goals and I know we can find a way to get there while acknowledging all that you have been through. I realized I wanted to become a therapist during a serendipitous summer camp experience—40 feet in the air on the high ropes course, I learned that I loved helping people process challenging experiences in creative ways. I love using a lot of different approaches depending on what we are working on. Some of my favorite methods are cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, strength based therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
I have been doing individual therapy with teens and adults of all ages since 2020. Previously, I worked as a clinical consultant, clinical director, and clinical supervisor in specialized mental health rehabilitation settings. I have been supporting people in creating and meeting their goals since 2012. I have used all of my past work experiences to learn how to work with clients to explore dreams, and strengths, and learn how to make these things their reality. I use eclectic strategies to support people as they sort through their lives and figure out ways to move forward in a new light.
I believe that therapy is a special space that allows a person to sit, process, and problem-solve in a way that can’t always be done in day-to-day.
Life is a journey filled with both highs and lows. There are moments when simply getting through the day can feel overwhelming—when your mind is filled with constant chatter (often not the kindest), your body feels exhausted, and even small tasks take more effort than they should.
If you’re feeling this way, you are not alone—and there is hope. Whether you are navigating anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, or the impact of past experiences, I am here to walk alongside you.
Together, we can create space to slow down, better understand what you’re experiencing, and build practical tools to help you feel more grounded, supported, and confident in your daily life.
My approach is holistic in nature, non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate. I walk along side you as we explore your thoughts and feelings, to help better understand yourself, and find ways to create healthy alternatives as you move forward. My goal is to not only create a safe space for you, but to also empower you as you develop the insight, curiosity, and courage to create the life you want.
I am a License Professional Counselor (LPC) I received my Masters from Siena Heights University in 2007
I am here to help and not give up on you. Be there for you and if we run into a road block. I am here to help you over it ,navigate you around it or get you through it. I am available and consistent .
🌿 My Approach to Counseling
Forty-four years ago, I was trained as a Holistic Social Worker, and since then I’ve had the privilege of working across the Americas — with people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. Over the decades, I’ve learned that healing looks different for everyone, and that true change happens when we feel safe, respected, and understood.
My counseling approach is person-centered, meaning that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to support and strengthen your natural motivation to change. There are many healing traditions in the world, and I will always honor you and your choices as we find what works best for your journey.
I combine cognitive (thought-based) and somatic (body-based) techniques to help you bridge the mind–body connection. My specialty is working with stress and trauma, helping you understand how your nervous system responds and what it needs to return to balance.
It’s important to remember: trauma lives in the nervous system — not in the event itself.
When your system becomes dysregulated, symptoms arise because the residual energy from those experiences hasn’t been released.
If your system is stuck on “High”, you may feel rage, hyperactivity, anxiety, panic, or find yourself engaging in high-risk behaviors.
If your system is stuck on “Low”, you may experience depression, exhaustion, numbness, disconnection, or hopelessness.
Together, we’ll gently guide your nervous system toward discharge and regulation, helping your body and mind restore calm, clarity, and connection.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can connect, answer your questions, and see if working together feels like the right fit.
It is wonderful that you decided to explore finding a therapist that is a good fit for you and your needs.
Finding a therapist that has mature experience, is transparent, non-judgmental, and is able to challenge you towards a healthier self is crucial in your journey towards emotional, mental, and personal growth and stability.

Hello. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has been practicing for over 20 years. I work with adults, couples, and families including children, and adolescents. My goal is to work with each person individually from a person-centered perspective. I want you to feel that you are in control of your progress by identifying your needs and focusing on your strengths . My specialties include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, behavioral challenges, post-partum depression, parenting, chronic illness, and grief. I am available to see clients in Kentucky in-person or telehealth, and Michigan or Minnesota via telehealth.
The person centered approach means that the client is the center of everything from the initial assessment, to the development of the goals, to the treatment that is provided. It is important that you know you are accepted and with therapy you are able to address the concerns you have and learn to effectively work through them.
I understand therapy can feel uncomfortable and the thought of sharing yourself with someone you don't know (yet) can be overwhelming. Give me a call and we can talk for an initial conversation to see if it will be a good fit.

Specializing in culturally sensitive approaches, I am committed to fostering resilience and empowering individuals to navigate their unique mental health journey. Let's embark on this path together, embracing the strength within our shared narratives. Congratulations! You have taken the first steps in the journey to your goal(s). I am extremely grateful you are considering me to partner up with. I consider my relationships as instrumental in learning who I am. The relationships that most speak to who I am include being a spouse, father, brother, son, colleague, and friend. My grandparents are deceased. Through these relationships I have learned a great deal.
I am a trauma-based therapist, psychodynamic in orientation. I work with clients holistically, believing we are more than the sum of our parts and our trauma's. I tend to consider myself anti-diagnosis putting a major emphasis on making linkages to our pasts including prior relationships and family ties. I am also a dual diagnosis therapist believing with substance abuse concerns are composed of mental health issues and negative experiences. I also prefer but do not find necessary involvement with services from partners, husbands/wifes ect. I find the majority of clients we see also possess stress from unresolved issues with relationships, present and past.
Sometimes life hands you situations and emotions that are difficult to navigate. If you have feelings of being stuck, depressed, and/or can't seem to stop the anxious thoughts from running, I am here to help. It may feel scary to reach out to a stranger, but I ensure a comfortable, relaxing, therapeutic environment that inspires hope and change. I will like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as a licensed mental health therapist. I want to tell you a little about myself and my fieldwork experiences. I worked in this field for several years, along with various training, to assist clients in different areas. In the last several years, I worked in a mental health hospital with adolescents, substance abuse, and crisis intervention in various settings. People with trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia were some of the people I helped at work. I worked with individuals on career choices to increase their career paths to maximize success. I support individuals in their desire to become independent, and I do this by helping them identify their true potential.
I enjoy my career as a Licensed Therapist! It is such a privilege to serve my clients and assist them on their journey of healing. My background is in Corporate America and I changed careers in my middle age years so now I am doing exactly what I love!
I am licensed in Michigan with 12 years of professional work experience. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion in order to allow my clients to thrive.
I will help you identify the things you want to be different in your life and develop skills and a plan for reaching your desired goals.
God uniquely and wonderfully creates every person. In our uniqueness, we can get stuck. I am passionate about walking with individuals as they work to get unstuck, find healing, and find their path to living a fuller life. I have served as a pastor and a chaplain in prison ministry. Through pastoral care, I have spent considerable time walking with couples as they work through concerns. I have spent much of my chaplaincy working with men struggling with addiction, identity issues, and faith issues.
If you are struggling with issues related to anxiety and depression, you are not alone. In today’s world, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the daily rigors and uncertainties of life. Thoughts like “am I good enough?” or “can I do this?” typically bring to the surface feelings of sadness, self-doubt and inadequacy. Then, you retreat and live within a dark cloud that could color your experience for years. I teach people strategies to manage themselves so that life doesn't seem so debilitating. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I work together with my patients to identify and change the negative self-talk so that they can face their fears and expand their comfort zone.
My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, adjustment to medical conditions and other health issues, college aged students, stress management, adjustment issues related to transitions in life, and aging and geriatric issues.
