(she/her)
For over 16 years I worked with individuals suffering from anxiety, grief and loss, and depression. We need a space to process, heal and maneuver through life transitions. If you want a neutral, validating and non judgmental safe space, Let’s Process is that place for you. I provide a safe and validating space for all clients. Allowing clients to have a space to freely expressed themselves without judgement, while learning interventions and tools along the way. Explore for yourself what happens when we process our feelings and embrace our healing journey.
In first few sessions, it is about building rapport, becoming comfortable in sharing issues or concerns. In first session, the client can express what led to our session, their current stressors, if any history with therapy ( if it worked or not), explore what the client will like to work on. In addition, the client simply share whats in their hearts.
Listening is the key. It is imperative to listen and show support while the client is sharing their story.
Change can be difficult , however willingness for change is great start to therapy. I enjoy working those that what to process feelings/emotions and learn to cope with unexpected situations. Helping client's understand how emotions is a direct link to our bodies, learning that your emotions regulate our daily functioning. Exploring techniques and approaches to change, motivating client's through this healing journey.
