I am a therapist that has worked with the hardest parts of the family situations: -child welfare -children in foster care -parents who are trying to get their children back from foster care -heightened family conflict preceding divorce -parental alienation -reunification therapy - working with both perpetrators and victims. My experience extends also to some of the alternative relationship structures such as polyamory and kink communities.

My name is Glenroy Bristol. I am an English-speaking licensed clinical mental health counselor (LMHC). I attended and graduated from Sunset International School of Preaching in Lubbock, Texas, in 2001 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies. I also graduated with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Cambridge College of Massachusetts in 2006. I am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in Springfield, MA. I have worked with individuals and couples dealing with mental health issues and substance abuse both online and in private practice for the past 18+ years. I continue to help others promote positive lifestyle changes through self-assessment and the management of cognitive distortions and negative thinking concerning life’s stressors (environmental, social, physiological, thoughts). I believe that we all can empower ourselves to gain control over our lives. My focus is to educate and encourage individuals to take an integrative lifestyle (whole body system) approach to achieving and maintaining overall good health, wellness, and disease prevention. I'm a licensed psychologist who's worked in a variety of settings, from college counseling centers to anxiety clinics to hospitals, and what I've learned is that everyone's different. There's no "one size fits all" approach to therapy. I have experience helping people deal with anxiety and OCD, as well as a number of other challenges. Before I became a psychologist, I was a teacher at both the elementary and high school levels. I love being able to work with people who are trying to become the best versions of themselves.
