Hello, I'm Michaela!
Are you looking for a safe place to be yourself and open up about difficult things? I recognize the strength it takes to open up and be vulnerable, and I would be honored to be a part of your healing journey! I believe I have a calming and empathetic nature that will make the clients that I work with feel right at home. Not to mention, I like to sprinkle in a bit of humor and creativity.
Do you ever feel stuck in life and you're hoping for change? I seek to nurture positive growth and change. Ultimately, my primary goal is to create a nonjudgmental space for clients to authentically be themselves and heal.
Hello! I have been working with children with severe emotional disturbances and families for over twenty years. What has always amazed me was seeing how resilient people are! I truly enjoy my work helping people reach their goals and seeing life become a little bit easier!
I have experience working with family conflict, parenting, depression, difficult adoptions, relationship issues, school issues and intergenerational trauma.
Hello! I'm Michelle.
As a dedicated mental health therapist, I am committed to guiding individuals on their journey towards well-being with a strong emphasis on self-care and intention. My goal is to get my clients started with building awareness of the patterns and behaviors causing distress, setting out to build strategies into seeing the “bigger picture”, and then making the choice to shift away into "new and different".
I believe that the mental health journey can feel different for everyone and is valid for all. It’s addressing the pile-on effects of everyday stress and learning how to breathe through anxiety and panic attacks. It’s establishing and keeping a daily routine as part of ADHD symptom management and finding self-compassion when experiencing depressive thoughts. There is no perfect or prescriptive way to approach the process of mental well-being. My role as a therapist is to support, facilitate, and provide collaborative space to examine all the pieces.
If you’ve spent a long time feeling unseen, overwhelmed, or weighed down by things from your past, therapy can be a place to start understanding how those experiences have shaped you. I don’t believe therapy is just about getting rid of symptoms. Sometimes the things we struggle with can tell us a lot about ourselves, including what we need and what may be ready to change.
I tend to be pretty active in sessions. I’m not someone who is just going to sit back and listen while you do all of the talking. I’ll share what I’m noticing, help you make connections, and give you things to think about or work on between sessions. I’m also interested in the deeper questions that can come up in therapy, like meaning, identity, intuition, and figuring out who you really are underneath all of the expectations and experiences that have shaped you.
Ultimately, I want therapy to help you feel more like yourself, not less.

I’m a licensed therapist specializing in individual therapy with adults. I have a particular passion for working with Gen Z and millenial adults facing the unique challenges of their generations. I believe a healing therapeutic relationship starts with presenting my authentic self, because trust is the foundation of our work together. I use a trauma-informed approach based on your needs to help you navigate identity and relationships, heal from hurt, and cultivate a kind relationship with yourself. I draw from many modalities and my creativity as a fine artist, often using EMDR, psychodynamic technique, and mindfulness. I am a dedicated counselor licensed both in Massachusetts and in the state of Georgia practicing for over a decade. My approach entails understanding your areas of need, together we work on your goals or outcomes, resolve the goals and empower your resilience. I have endeavored to improve my art of counseling over the last decade. In treatment, my quest to improve is evident by the need to make sure I understand your areas of need, in order to help you resolve and empower you to actualize your goals.
I am originally from Los Angeles and moved to Amherst Massachusetts to study photojournalism at Hampshire College. While I appreciated that pictures tell their own stories, I felt pulled to linger within the ongoing experiences of the folks I captured on film. Obtaining my graduate degree in psychodynamic therapy from Smith College confirmed the importance and complexities of witnessing people beyond just a moment in time.
For the past 17 years, I have had the privilege of helping people navigate the complicated, messy, and often deeply meaningful work of understanding themselves. I believe therapy can be a place to slow down-to step outside of the noise and begin taking a more examined look at your life, your patterns, your relationships and the choices you've been making. My approach is grounded in the belief that our minds and nervous system are constantly trying to protect us. Many of the patterns that can leave us feeling stuck, anxious, disconnected or overwhelmed once served an important purpose. I am interested in helping you understand why these patterns developed, what they may be trying to communicate and whether they still serve you in the life you're living now. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and mindfulness practices. I don't believe there is one right way to do therapy, so our work will be collaborative and tailored to you.

Hi, I’m Joe. I’ve worked in the mental health field for 27 years across substance use treatment, outpatient care, and hospital settings. I’ve supported individuals and families through crisis, transition, and long-term growth.
I work well with young adults, adults, and families who are navigating stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, or major life changes. I also have extensive experience working with men who may struggle to express emotions directly and instead feel stuck in withdrawal, irritability, or self-doubt.
As a veteran, I understand the mindset and pressures that can come with military life. Across all of my work, I aim to provide a grounded, steady presence where honesty, insight, and meaningful change can take place.
Hi! I'm a licensed mental health counselor living in Savannah, GA, licensed in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. I've been doing this work for 15 years, in settings ranging from community-based support to inpatient, partial hospital, and integrated primary care. I lean on evidence based strategies like CBT and DBT, but the real foundation is understanding how life experience and trauma live in the body, not just the mind. My job is to help you figure out what "better" actually looks like for you, then build a space where we can get there together.
I am an older adult who has spent my life in service to others, and have now gained the education, licensing, and experience to continue my life of caring as a therapist. I am a mother and grandmother and share my living space with my cat, Chai. I have worked in Family & Children services, Emergency services, and in Addiction Treatment centers. I have extensive training and experience in helping people recover from trauma, both one-time events and complex events over time. I am familiar with and knowledgeable about cults and manipulative relationships that use undue influence and gas-lighting. My approach is person-centered and strengths-based, and I see myself as an advocate to help you navigate your life.
Ready to Feel Better? Let's Take That First Step Together.
Life can feel overwhelming, and sometimes we all need a little support finding our way forward. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, past trauma, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to figure it all out alone.

You deserve more than just getting through each day. You deserve to thrive! If you're ready for something to change, I'd love to help you take that first step. Schedule an appointment today, and let's see if we're a good fit!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who blends clinical precision with genuine human connection. I don’t believe therapy should feel distant or scripted, it should feel intentional, focused, and grounded in real conversation. I’m engaged, attentive, and not afraid to ask the thoughtful questions that move us past surface level insight.
Clients work with me because I balance warmth with direction. I’ll validate your experience, but I’ll also help you challenge patterns that no longer serve you. When appropriate, I bring a grounded sense of humor and authenticity into the room, because meaningful work can still feel approachable.
If you’re looking for therapy that is purposeful, collaborative, and designed to create lasting change, you’ll find that here.
In our sessions together, we will identify your therapy goals and the most effective ways to work toward them. I work with adults in both individual and couples therapy, and I provide support to those who are seeking more satisfaction in life and greater ease with facing life's challenges. I utilize a collaborative approach, and I believe that a strong trusting relationship is the foundation to an effective therapy process. Whether you are seeking to address anxiety, depression, impacts of trauma, or a range of other difficulties, I will provide support as we work to develop new coping skills and move through life with a greater sense of ease. I believe that a compassionate listening ear can go a long way and that oftentimes, self-reflection and vulnerability are the first steps toward a new way forward. I believe that all individuals possess unique strengths and that an individualized approach is a crucial part of the therapy process. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and support you on your journey.
For more than 25 years as a social worker, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals as they identify their strengths, clarify their goals, and build the skills needed to create meaningful change. Over the years, I have learned that growth rarely happens in a straight line. It often begins with small steps, honest conversations, and the willingness to try something new. I believe every person has the capacity for growth, even during life’s most difficult seasons, and that healing is possible when people feel supported, respected, and understood.
My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and solution-focused. I blend evidence-based practices with humor, grace, and gentle persistence to help clients move toward the life they want. In our work together, we will focus on what is already working, identify patterns that may be getting in the way, and develop practical coping skills that fit your unique needs and values. I strive to create a supportive, collaborative space where you can speak openly, explore challenges without judgment, and feel encouraged to keep moving forward, even when progress feels slow.
I also believe therapy should be both practical and empowering. Together, we will look for creative solutions, build resilience, and strengthen your confidence in handling whatever comes your way. Change is not always easy, but you do not have to navigate it alone. My goal is to help you reduce your struggles, reconnect with your strengths, and discover the tools you need not just to cope, but to thrive in your daily life and relationships. Whether you are facing stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, or a major life transition, I will meet you where you are and work with you at a pace that feels manageable, hopeful, and grounded in your strengths so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Hello and Welcome! I have been practicing clinical social work for fifteen years and take great pride in helping others. I have worked with clients who experience anxiety, depression, trauma response symptoms, mania and so much more. My approach is always about meeting you where you are at. My skill set includes years of practicing CBT, trauma processing, solution focused work, motivational interviewing, relational and psychodynamic techniques. My previous work experience includes a variety of settings with most of those years being in outpatient behavioral health. What I have always been most impressed with is the amount of strength and resiliency each person I meet already possesses. If you decide to join me in therapy, I eagerly await helping you to identify and build upon your own strengths and resiliency.

As a licensed, bilingual (English/Spanish) mental health provider, my deep academic grounding is paired with extensive clinical experience across the full spectrum of care. I have had the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, and adults moving through acute crises and severe emotional storms in Psychiatric Hospitals, Clinics, and Partial Hospitalization Programs. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Holding Space Therapy Services. I provide telehealth therapy for adults navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the sometimes messy process of figuring out who they are and what they want.
My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), blending practical tools with honest conversations, compassion, curiosity, and a little humor. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
My philosophy is simple: You can't control all of it, but you can choose how you show up. Let's make space for what matters.
I’m excited to get to know you better! In the meantime, here’s a little about me, and my professional experience and training.
I think one of the biggest challenges, after taking that first brave step of reaching out, is to find a good therapist that you connect with. In my twenty-plus years of experience, the therapeutic relationship is the principal reason that therapy “works” or “doesn’t work.”
My therapeutic style focuses on first developing a strong therapeutic alliance in which you feel emotionally safe and heard without judgment. You’ve already come to the conclusion that something in your life is not working, and my task is to help you to identify the ways in which you’d like things to be different. From there, together we can create realistic, achievable goals that support those changes and move you toward the life that you deserve.
I have a large repertoire of strategies and interventions, which include cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and motivational interviewing. Producing insights, strategies, and tools that you can use immediately is the goal of every interaction.
I have extensive experience in trauma, anxiety, relationship issues (adult as well as parent-child), substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. I have found that many people experiencing trauma or anxiety are helped by a combination of mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy. This teaches them how to tolerate their intense feelings and how to reframe unhelpful thought patterns that keep them stuck.
On a personal note, I have been a LMFT since 1997 and have worked with a variety of clients in many different settings. I work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Friday mornings. My latest appointment is 4:00PM ET
When I’m not helping people, I can usually be found on the golf course. I look forward to helping you to make the changes you desire.

Communication is key-let's talk about it.
Remember overall health includes mental health.
You don't have to keep holding it all together. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship conflicts, a major life transition, or the overwhelming love and loss that can come with new motherhood — you deserve a space to set it down for a while, and someone to help you hold it.
Hi, I'm Lucy, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and certified perinatal mental health counselor (PMH-C). I work with women who are navigating through trauma, anxiety, and the unique emotional landscape of the perinatal period.
My approach is warm, inclusive, and deeply human — I believe real connection is what makes real change possible. This work asks a lot of you, and I don't take that lightly. I'm continually humbled by the courage my clients bring to every session. When you're ready, I'd love to connect and see if we're the right fit.
