I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston University and am a licensed therapist in the state of Massachusetts. Over the past 8 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including adolescents and adults, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or stress, I offer a safe and non-judgmental space to explore your feelings and experiences. I take a client-centered, integrative approach to therapy, which means that I tailor my methods to meet your unique needs and goals. I draw from several therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to: CBT, DBT skills, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, MI, Strengths Based Therapy and Solutions Focused Therapy. My goal is to work collaboratively with you, creating a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I am also a strong advocate and support to the LGBTQIA+ population.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then get to know you as a person. I am big into building a relationship with my clients first. I will also ask you questions so I can get to know what you have dealt with in your life and what type of experiences you have had. I will also want to hear what your goals are for therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I care significantly for my clients and hope to help everyone through what they are dealing with. I believe that all people have strengths and are special in their own way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have experience with many ages and different backgrounds. I can help treat your anxiety, depression, trauma, conflict, family issues, and addiction.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Identifying specific problems or issues in your life, becoming aware of unproductive thought patterns and how they can impact your life, identifying negative thinking and reshaping it in a way that changes how you feel, learning new behaviors and putting them into practice

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I completed training in Cognitive Processing Therapy with CPT expert Kathleen M. Chard. CPT is an evidence-based trauma therapy that helps people understand how traumatic experiences affect their thoughts and beliefs and supports them in developing more balanced and healing perspectives. This treatment is about 13 weeks long for 1 hour every week.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills into my work to help clients build emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness, informed by intensive training with DBT expert Dr. Charlie Swenson.
