Hi there, welcome. It is wonderful to see you are taking the first step to connect with a therapist. My style is casual and client centered. Clients set their own goals as I support them in feeling heard, safe and an equal part of the therapy process. Our focus would be to identify areas of difficulty, build on the strengths you already have, identify triggers and learn coping strategies to help ease symptoms that may be impacting day to day life. I believe in the importance of meeting people where they are and providing non judgmental, open connections. My clients are adult women who identify with one or more of the following: family conflict, estrangement, caregiver, grief, aging, hospice, anxiety, caring for neurodivergent children, parenting and/or chronic medical illness.

Choosing a therapist is an important decision, and I believe one of the strongest predictors of successful therapy is finding someone with whom you feel genuinely comfortable and understood. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with eight years of experience providing therapy to adults across a variety of settings. My clinical background includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, severe and persistent mental illness, mood disorders, psychosis, trauma, and major life transitions. I have completed advanced training in perinatal mental health and am a certified Perinatal Mental Health provider (PMH-C), allowing me to provide specialized support during pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, and the emotional challenges that can accompany the transition to parenthood. I also have a passion for supporting individuals with Down syndrome and their families across the lifespan. Whether you are an adult with Down syndrome, a caregiver, or an expectant parent adjusting to a prenatal diagnosis, I strive to provide compassionate, knowledgeable, and individualized care. My approach is collaborative, warm, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. Life rarely fits neatly into categories, and many of us carry emotions that seem contradictory—hope alongside fear, gratitude alongside grief, confidence alongside uncertainty. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult emotions, I believe healing begins by making space for them, understanding where they come from, and learning how to move forward without letting them define us. Together, we will identify practical strategies, build on your strengths, and work toward goals that feel meaningful to you. Therapy should be a space where you can show up authentically and be met with compassion, honesty, and respect. No matter what has brought you here, you don't have to navigate it alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward greater understanding, resilience, and hope.

Sharing stories can create some of the greatest bonds between people. In my practice as a therapist, stories have always been the foundation: they create a relationship of empathy and understanding, acceptance and change, which is able to withstand challenges over time. By telling stories, we can pick apart patterns and figure out how to break cycles that are not serving you. Whether that be with others, or yourself. I specialize in helping people who are struggling in relationships as well as with depression and anxiety that often accompany these challenges. I believe that the therapist-client connection is not only a place to learn skills, but lays a foundation to create and maintain healthy relationships. Using a combination of mindfulness, interpersonal skills, and cognitive therapy, we can slow things down to help you better understand what is happening, and what techniques you can use to reach your goals.

I am a clinician with twenty-five years of clincial experiences as a licensed mental health counselor. I have worked with families, caregivers, employees, and adults over 18 years old. I visited families in their homes over the years before doing telehealth visits on a permanent basis. I have extensive experience providing mindfulness behavioral therapy, solution-focused methods, CBT, and grief counseling. Over the years, I have learned valuable resources for stress reduction through grounding techniques using the breath and cognitive restructuring to produce a calmer state of being. I participated in an all-day training for clinicians to learn how to apply nature-based interventions and tools for individuals interested in this intervention. Evidence-based studies show how nature therapy reduces stress, heart rate, and blood pressure, and boosts positive moods. You can practice nature therapy in your house without having to go outside as well.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions — those moments when things feel unsteady and you're not quite sure how to move forward. My approach starts with building a warm, genuine relationship where you feel safe to explore what's really going on beneath the surface. From there, I bring in practical tools — often drawing on CBT and coping strategies — so you leave sessions with more than just insight, but real ways to manage day-to-day. As a parent myself, I understand how life's transitions can test us in ways we don't always expect, and I bring that same steadiness and practicality to the people I work with.

If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can slow down, feel heard, and make sense of what you’re experiencing. Hello and welcome! I'm Jane. I'm glad you're here, and I'd like to tell you a little about myself. First though, I'd like to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards bettering your mental health because, let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time. This is a big step. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, and self-worth. I focus on helping clients develop new, more positive narratives about themselves that accurately reflect who they are. Our narratives are informed by our past, our childhood, our experiences, our internal and external environments, but sometimes, they can become twisted and inaccurate. So much pain can stem from this. I am here to help you develop your own narrative. Therapy can foster personal development in whatever way you may be seeking and help build the life you so deeply deserve. If that's what you're looking for, I'm here when you're ready to share. We will work as a team. I am a psychologist with ten years of experience working with a diverse range of clients. I received my doctorate from William James College. I've been I work with clients struggling with depression and anxiety, among other issues. My approach is collaborative and strength-based. I see therapy as a team effort, with the client-clinician relationship being one of the most effective tools in treatment. You'll find me to be empathic and genuine, and a little off beat. Hope to talk to you soon.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and one of the things I value most about this work is helping people understand themselves with more compassion and less judgment. So often, we spend years believing that something is wrong with us because we feel too much, shut down, overthink, pull away, become overwhelmed, or struggle to feel safe and connected. I don’t see those experiences as evidence that you are broken. I see them as places worth becoming curious about. I believe that people make sense. Even the parts of us that confuse us. Even the reactions we wish we could change. Even the ways we cope that may no longer be helping us—or may sometimes hurt us. There is a reason we learned to respond the way we do. Sometimes the ways we cope can become painful, overwhelming, or difficult to understand. Anxiety, depression, hopelessness, grief, intense emotions, withdrawal, conflict, or other patterns may feel like something that needs to be fixed or eliminated. I believe it can be more helpful to first become curious about what these experiences are communicating and what purpose they may once have served. I don't believe therapy is about turning you into someone else. It's about helping you come home to yourself—to understand what has shaped you, recognize what is no longer serving you, reconnect with what matters, and make room for the life you actually want. You don't have to have everything figured out before you come in. You don't even have to know exactly what's wrong. I work with individuals and couples experiencing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, hopelessness, grief, communication difficulties, relationship challenges, and difficult or confusing emotional experiences. . I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II).
