Hello! My name is Jeyran Shahgaldiyeva, I am a licensed clinical therapist credentialed to provide services in Ohio, Massachusetts, and Florida. First of all, let me thank you for beginning this journey. Starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time - so, please, give your self credits for being brave enough to make this big step towards improvement. Feeling better is possible. I'm here to support you.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Throughout our interactions I will tailor our dialog to identify your personal goals and meet your unique and specific needs. During our first session we will discuss your concerns and expectations from the therapy, establish goals and objectives, and agree on a treatment plan. I will complete an initial/intake assessment, using various tools, that might include questionnaires, checklists, and standardized instruments. This will help ensure that all relevant information is collected systematically and nothing is missed.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
During the sessions I will draw the best from what the modern psychotherapy can offer. My approach is eclectic and adaptive. My imperative is to treat everyone with respect, sensitivity, and true compassion. I believe in the power of your inner strengths and resources. I believe in you.
