New to Grow
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey toward self-discovery, healing, and growth. With over 15 years of experience supporting children, adults, and families in schools, homes, and clinical settings, I help clients uncover their strengths, build supportive relationships, and create a foundation for lasting well-being. My approach blends evidence-based modalities—including CBT, DBT, ACT, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing—with mindfulness and gratitude practices. I create a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore their emotions, set meaningful goals, and find purpose in their experiences. Together, we work toward building resilience, embracing change, and cultivating a life aligned with your values and vision for the future.
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and lay the groundwork for therapy. I’ll gather information about your background, strengths, and current challenges to understand you as a whole person. We’ll review expectations, confidentiality, and the flow of future sessions. My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you feel supported from the start.
What sets me apart as a therapist is my ability to create a grounded, compassionate, and collaborative space where clients feel truly seen and supported. With over fifteen years of experience across schools, homes, inpatient units, foster care, and community agencies, I bring a deep understanding of how a person’s environment, relationships, and experiences shape their emotional world. I don’t view clients as a set of symptoms; I see them as whole, complex individuals, and I work to understand the stories, patterns, and strengths that have brought them to where they are today. My approach is highly collaborative—I believe therapy works best when we walk the journey together. I blend evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing with mindfulness and grounding practices to support both practical skill-building and meaningful emotional insight. This allows clients to explore their feelings, learn new coping strategies, and begin shifting long-standing patterns in a way that feels safe, empowering, and tailored to their needs. Clients often describe feeling deeply heard, understood, and more grounded after our sessions. My focus is on helping people move toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional resilience so they can create lives that feel balanced, authentic, and aligned with their values. Whether someone is working through anxiety, depression, trauma, family stress, or major life transitions, I aim to provide a steady, supportive space where growth, healing, and long-term change can unfold.
I work best with clients who are ready to explore their emotions, challenge old patterns, and create meaningful change in their lives. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of their next steps, and are looking for a supportive, nonjudgmental space to sort through their thoughts. I’m especially well-positioned to help individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, family stress, or relationship challenges. My ideal clients are curious about understanding themselves more deeply and are open to learning new skills—whether that means building healthier coping strategies, improving communication, or strengthening emotional resilience. You don’t need to have everything figured out; you just need to be willing to show up. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and work toward creating a more balanced, grounded, and fulfilling life.
