Hi I'm Gaby. If you have been feeling sick and stuck in a negative thought process and wondering if there is anyone who can understand or help you, let's talk. I am here to help you experience change and escape from the pattern of life that has left you feeling different, unwell, and stuck.
I am first and foremost a Trauma Informed Recovery Therapist. This means that I believe in you and I believe in your goals and I know we can find a way to get there while acknowledging all that you have been through. I realized I wanted to become a therapist during a serendipitous summer camp experience—40 feet in the air on the high ropes course, I learned that I loved helping people process challenging experiences in creative ways. I love using a lot of different approaches depending on what we are working on. Some of my favorite methods are cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, strength based therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
I have been doing individual therapy with teens and adults of all ages since 2020. Previously, I worked as a clinical consultant, clinical director, and clinical supervisor in specialized mental health rehabilitation settings. I have been supporting people in creating and meeting their goals since 2012. I have used all of my past work experiences to learn how to work with clients to explore dreams, and strengths, and learn how to make these things their reality. I use eclectic strategies to support people as they sort through their lives and figure out ways to move forward in a new light.
I believe that therapy is a special space that allows a person to sit, process, and problem-solve in a way that can’t always be done in day-to-day.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois, North Carolina, and Connecticut. I am registered to do telehealth in South Carolina and Florida. I have over 30 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self esteem and confidence, & depression. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
As a therapist who values mental, emotional, and behavioral health my goal in working with clients is to help them identify the best strategies, perspectives and mindsets to enjoy the life they lead. My approach to therapy is solution focused, non judgmental and collaborative. Together we will work towards the life you truly deserve. I plan to assist you with grief, identity issues, life transitions, family issues, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges and much more.
Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself?
I help high performing men and women manage anxiety and avoid burnout. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back into balance. We'll use a holistic self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I also integrate mindfulness, yoga and art to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself.
Whether you're dealing with feeling overwhelmed, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's embark on this journey together as we empower you in making powerful changes in your life.

Hi, I am Jenn, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Certified Telemental Health Provider, and the owner of Epijennetics Counseling and Consulting in Libertyville, Illinois. Epijennetics Counseling is located just outside of downtown Libertyville off of Milwaukee Avenue in Forum Square. You can read more about my work and practice at www.epijennetics.com. As a therapist, I hold the belief that we cannot fully understand mental health without first understanding the impact of our stories, our relationships, and our beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world. I am passionate about helping clients increase their self-awareness of these things so that they are more in touch with their feelings, needs, and desires, and are more equipped with the knowledge and tools to create the life that they want. By utilizing assessments such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to better understand personality and the Young Schema Assessment to explore harmful thoughts and beliefs that came from previous experiences and messages received during childhood years, I help clients discover hidden obstacles that keep them from having the life they dream of. I have found that when we put in the work to make sense of ourselves and our stories, we not only heal and grow ourselves but also develop more compassion and increased understanding of others. Often this growth and healing process lessens mental health symptoms such as anxiety and depression and improves overall quality of life, as well as relationship quality. If you are interested in doing some exploring, I would love to hear from you! (Please make an in-office appointment if you are booking Couple or Family therapy sessions.)

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), my mission is to guide individuals on a journey back to their innate wisdom, compassion, peace, and confidence. I often think of the story of Michelangelo, who described sculpting as the act of chipping away marble to reveal the beauty already within. This metaphor beautifully captures the counseling process: together, we identify and remove the barriers obscuring your true SELF, allowing your inner brilliance to shine through.
My approach is rooted in deep compassion for the human experience. I bring to our work a blend of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices, enriched by certifications in Mind-Body Bridging, Cognitively-Based Compassion Training, and Cultivating Emotional Balance. I draw from powerful therapeutic frameworks, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindful Self-Compassion, and Compassionate Inquiry, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs.

Hi! I'm Karen, I'm an LCSW based in California and licensed in California and Illinois. I received my Masters from Loyola University Chicago, and have been practicing as a therapist for 6 years. My passion is helping young adults address and cope with past trauma, as well as managing the issues of day to day life that come with figuring out how to balance work, social life, and other tasks of adulthood.
I would love to work with teenager, young adults, adults and older generations to help them navigate through difficult life transitions, anxiety, depression and grief and loss. My ideal client understands that therapy is a journey and is willing to show up for themselves wanting something different and better for themselves. My ideal client is committed to the work and confident they can show up for themselves and be able to see things in a different perspective and try new things that are outside of their comfort zone.
Are you feeling overwhelmed by day-to-day life? Are there things from your past that are unresolved? Do you desire self-improvement but don’t know where to start?
Starting where you are is the first step in every new journey. I want to help guide you on your journey by helping you to unlock your own inner power to make transformative changes in your life. This can sound overwhelming, but you don’t have to do this work alone. I take a client-centered approach by meeting you wherever you may be in your journey of healing and self-discovery. Whether it be depression, anxiety, trauma, work or family stress or issues surrounding self-esteem and identity, you’ll receive the support that you need. I get it. Therapy can be intimidating. Take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards bettering your mental health because let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time.
I strive to create a supportive and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, relationship issues,ADHD, healthy communication, and self-care, to name a few. My focus is with individual adults, as I am unable to see adolescents, families, or couples.
I focus on helping adults develop assertive communication and boundaries with themselves and those around them that can help improve their quality of life. Counseling can foster personal development in whatever way you may be seeking and help build the life you so deeply deserve. I feel honored to hold and support this space with you.
Not sure if you could use some help navigating life's challenges? Let's talk about the kind of support I can provide you. Bock a session with me to see if we're a good fit and how we can help you have more peace.
Unfortunately, I am unable to provide documentation for ESA, work accommodations, court, legal, probation, surgical clearance, FMLA, Short Term Disability, etc. Thank you.
My name is Sabrina Turner. I trained at Bradley University and have 12 years of clinical experience. I focus on issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, PTSD, and ADHD. Throughout my career I have worked with clients of all ages. I primarily use person centered techniques, but I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness depending on the client. In addition, integrative approaches are helpful to most people, which means we look at your overall nutritional and physical well being in conjunction with your mental health.
Asking for help is never easy, but connection and relationships help us lead our best lives.
My goal is to help you build healthier coping skills for yourself. What that looks like is different for everyone, but I want to help you find your own unique path.
During our first session I will ask you to share some background information with me. It can be difficult to share, so please know that my number one goal is to give you a safe, nonjudgemental space to open up. In subsequent sessions we will dive deeper into your reasons for seeking therapy. We will explore techniques that are already working for you and add in new skills along the way. If you are looking for a clinician to walk alongside you while you discover yourself and how to be your best version, we will likely be a good fit!
My name is Adriana Cintrón and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am a bilingual and bicultural therapist, working with English speaking individuals in Illinois. I work mainly with adults who have expressed a need for support and would either like to define goals or have them and would like help to achieve them. I primarily specialize in depression, anxiety, stress and domestic violence counseling.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. I received my Master's Degree more than 20 years ago and have been helping women improve their mental health ever since.
Are you the one who helps everyone else but feel like you’re falling apart inside? Have you gotten to a point in your life where you’re feeling like life isn’t as good as it should be? Is your romantic relationship ending and you’re kind of glad but scared? Do you worry a lot? I love working with women who want to overcome anxiety, depression, grief or trauma. I help clients become the best version of themselves.
I help women who find themselves taking care of others but not themselves and want to change. I help them to learn when to say no and how to heal. I help people who have lost someone dear and want to navigate the journey through grief. I am well versed in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems (parts) and ACT for anxiety and depression.
I am an empath. I’m nurturing and extremely compassionate. For those whose parents were less than they needed, I model unconditional love and support. I will support you unconditionally while helping you become aware of your issues and where change can help you.
I work with clients who are struggling with grief, anxiety, depression or trauma. I also work with clients who may need assistance in processing everyday life stressors and want a supportive therapist whom they can confide in who will also challenge them and assist with problem-solving.
I also work with those facing reproductive challenges. As a compassionate and empathetic therapist, I understand the complex emotional and psychological impact that infertility and miscarriage can have. I can:
• Support you in maintaining hope, peace and positivity while navigating uncertainty and help you build resiliency as you work through obstacles.
• Help you to recognize and access your deeper intuition, so you are better equipped to honor your body, spirit and mind with the highest intention throughout your journey.
• Work with you on increasing clarity and purpose around your fertility journey.
• Utilize a holistic approach to address integrative lifestyle strategies that may be beneficial to your fertility path.
• Assist you in addressing relationship difficulties that can arise out of the stress of fertility challenges, help you develop strategies to increase intimacy with your partner and foster healthy communication.
For women and men who have experienced reproductive loss:
• The devastating and seemingly invisible pain of losing a pregnancy is unique in that it involves not only the loss of your baby, but also involves the loss of the future - and there is no accepted way to mark that loss. Sometimes it seems that friends and family members expect the person to move on quickly. Partners often grieve differently - and for men, the trauma of miscarriage is often overlooked. Also, some women may suffer guilt or shame associated with the loss that doesn't tend to occur with other types of grieving.
• There is no universal template for grief. Together, we will address your unique needs as you work through your grieving process.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in the Social Services field for over 17 years. I have had the pleasure of working with various populations and clients of various backgrounds. I truly enjoy the growth that takes place through the therapeutic process. It takes a lot of courage to take this step and I applaud you ahead of time.

I want to meet a client where they are at, therefore where one wants to start. I am genuine and authentic and want to assist someone to get the help and resources they may need to be and feel better as a person overall. I enjoy teaching skills and am constantly learning new skills and techniques to be a better therapist. I also may push at times in order to assist one to explore further what it is they are experiencing.
I have over 3 decades of experience working in the fields of mental health and social work. I work with youth, adults, families, and couples who are struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, relationship issues, and school refusal. You may be carrying stress, anxiety, sadness, or uncertainty about the future—and wondering how to make sense of it all. My role is to offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can pause, reflect, and begin to feel more grounded.
Counseling isn’t about having all the answers right away—it’s about creating room for growth, clarity, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

I have experience with significant mental illness, trauma (esp. sexual and domestic violence recovery), and life transitions (finishing college, relationship changes, menopause, etc.) I work with individuals (teens and adults) and couples. I am an accredited trauma therapist (APT) and I am trained in Narrative Therapy. Additionally, I am a "nerd" therapist. I want to hear about what you read, watch, play, etc. We can talk about cosplay and conventions and the like. I like to draw parallels between real life challenges and the stories that we read in books and see on TV and movies (you can expect me to mention the following: INSIDE OUT, ENCANTO, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, X-FILES, STAR WARS, STAR TREK, DOCTOR WHO, the MCU, etc, as well as the whole hero’s journey that we all take.) And I want to hear what stories keep you inspired and motivated. I want to know what you enjoy and feel passionate about. Our primary focus will be on what has brought you to therapy and what you want to work on but I know that there are many paths to these goals. As Tolkien said, “Not all who wander are lost.” So, we might wander a bit but we will wander together.
At some point, during our virtual session, you will probably see one or both of my cats and your pets are welcome as well. Trans/queer friendly and welcoming.

Together, we focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening coping skills, and supporting meaningful, sustainable change so clients can feel more confident, balanced, and empowered in their daily lives.
