Hi there, I'm Kristen. I'm a marriage and family therapist, which means that I come at clients' problems as a product of each person's individual system and the others in their lives. Every issue has a cause, but whether we can identify that cause or not, we still have to find a way forward. I help clients determine for themselves what they want to do. I come at each problem from a biopsychosocial-spiritual viewpoint. This means that every issue we deal with is influenced by our biological health, our psychological well being, our social resources, and our spiritual connection to the world around us. That gives us four different ways to address our stressors and four different paths to utilize when needed. I'm biblically trained, so I can help clients with religious or spiritual abuse, or help you rely on your spirituality to identify coping skills that will work for you. Some of my clients are not interested in spirituality, so we don't include spiritual practices in their work. Others want to focus efforts on spiritual practices, so we rely heavily in that area for them. Each client is unique, and each treatment plan is different. I see clients individually, in couples, or families depending on the need and the focus of their treatment. I'm available Monday through Thursday and have sessions as late as 8 pm.

Life can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re balancing the many roles and responsibilities that come with being a woman. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, parenting stress, trauma, reproductive or hormonal changes, career demands, or a major life transition, you don’t have to navigate it all alone. Therapy can provide a safe, supportive space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and make sense of what you’re experiencing. I am Danielle Oehme, founder and licensed clinical professional counselor for Hope and Healing Counseling, I have over 10 years experience working in the mental health field. I have a masters degree in Clinical Psychology and Child Development. I am a compassionate, thoughtful, and grounded provider who values creating a safe, supportive space where clients can feel seen, heard, and empowered. My approach is rooted in meeting people where they are while helping them move toward meaningful growth and healing at a pace that feels right for them. I believe every person has a unique path, and my role is to help illuminate possibilities, build on strengths, and support lasting change. In addition to my work as a therapist, I also bring experience as a veterinary social worker, which has deepened my understanding of the emotional challenges that can come with caregiving, grief, loss, and life transitions. This background allows me to offer added compassion and support, especially for clients navigating the unique bond between humans and animals or the stress that can come with caring for a beloved pet. With a warm and collaborative style, I strive to make therapy feel approachable, respectful, and genuinely connected to each client’s needs. I bring curiosity, care, and intention to my work, and I value helping clients navigate challenges while also reconnecting with their sense of self, purpose, and direction. My practice, Infinite Pathways, reflects my belief that there is more than one way forward, and that healing often begins when people feel supported in discovering what works best for them.

Hello, I’m Fernanda, a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Let’s be honest—life can be hard, and sometimes the struggle feels like a lot to carry on your own. I’ve had the privilege of working with people from different backgrounds who are navigating stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, and everything in between. Mental health doesn’t look the same for everyone, and therapy shouldn’t either. I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, feel heard without judgment, and work together to find what truly works for you. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We can start wherever you are.

Navigating grief and life transitions are integral parts of the therapeutic journey. Coping with loss, whether it's the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or other significant changes, can be incredibly challenging. Similarly, life transitions such as career changes, moving to a new city, or adjusting to parenthood can evoke a range of emotions and uncertainties. As your therapist, I provide support and guidance through these experiences for children, adults, and even fellow therapists. I help you process your emotions, find meaning in your grief, and adapt to life's transitions. Together, we can explore strategies for coping with loss, managing change, and fostering resilience. By acknowledging and addressing grief and life transitions in therapy, we can create a safe space for healing and growth. Whether you're grappling with loss, facing a major life change, or simply seeking support during a challenging time, know that you don't have to navigate these experiences alone. I'm here to walk alongside you on your journey towards healing and personal transformation.

Welcome—I’m truly glad you’re here. I bring a warm, grounded, and collaborative approach to this work, shaped by graduating with honors in my Master’s program and earning my Bachelor’s in Social Work with a Minor in Human Services. With 17 years of experience supporting at‑risk youth and families across Illinois, Kansas, and Missouri—and roughly five years in a direct therapeutic role—I’ve learned that healing is most powerful when mind, body, and spirit are invited into the process. My background includes specialized training in DBT, ASIST, trauma‑responsive care, and emerging work with elders through grief support and medical assessments. My practice continues to expand as I deepen my understanding of military culture and the unique stressors faced by Service Members, Veterans, and their families. I integrate training in reintegration support, deployment‑related stress, and identity transitions to help military‑connected clients navigate life with clarity and strength. I am honored to now offer supportive therapeutic services to clients in the state of Virginia. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Somatic Therapy remains one of my first passions and is available for in‑person sessions. This body‑based approach helps clients release stored tension, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect with the wisdom of their physical and emotional selves. When the body softens, the mind opens—and healing becomes more accessible, more intuitive, and more aligned. My work is guided by a simple belief: ~When people feel safe, seen, and supported, they naturally move toward wholeness.~ It’s an honor to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and step into a life that feels grounded, authentic, and spiritually aligned.

My name is Marc Genson and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and I have been a counselor for over 15 years. Counseling is a passion of mine as this alllows a client to really learn about themselves and who they are and want to become. You are taking a brave step to seek help and I am happy to help you along your journey. We all have something we want to change and I am here to help with that. We all have areas in our lives that we can grow in and learn from and I am here to help you in those areas. No one is perfect but we often tell ourselves we have to be and that's not fair to us. Sometimes our thinking causes us to not be our best self and we make mistakes. I am here to help correct these mistakes moving forward through improved cognition, awareness and decision making via CBT, ACT and DBT techniques. I know how important my job is and I want my clients to know I will be there to listen, support and guide but not tell them how to live their lives. I welcome the chance to help a new client become the best version of themselves.

I love life even when it is difficult, uncertain, and unpredictable. I experience it as a precious gift and live in constant awe of the quiet miracle of existence. I believe in hope, believe in kindness and compassion, and hold an essentially optimistic view of the human spirit. As a practicing professional, I am continually moved by the beauty and depth of psychotherapy. The psyche remains a mystery that can never be fully captured, and yet it endlessly inspires me. For me, psychotherapy is not only a profession—it is a philosophy, a spiritual path, and a way of living with attention, humility, and devotion to inner truth.

It's important for therapists to be, first and foremost, real human beings in relation to clients. I know how to be a therapist. You know how to be you. I try to bring understanding and, when appropriate, humor into my work with people. Therapy is where you can try on different parts of yourself in a non-judgemental environment. What happens in session can reflect what you experience in your everday life. This provides you with perspective to live a more fufilling life. Hi, I’m Angela. I understand that reaching out for support is often the hardest part of the journey, especially when you feel life is heavy or uncertain. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, whether you are navigating the complexities of recovery, the weight of grief, or the shifting transitions of midlife. Since 2016, I have focused my career on supporting adults through the challenges of substance use, working across all levels of care, including detox, residential, and medication-assisted treatment. As both a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Addiction Counselor, I have invested significant additional education and clinical hours specifically in the field of addiction. I believe it is important to work with a therapist who focuses on these patterns, as alcohol and substance use rarely exist in isolation. They are often intertwined with anxiety, codependency, trauma, and relationship stress. In our sessions, we will explore how these challenges impact one another and work toward your specific goals for change, whether that involves moderation or choosing abstinence. I am also passionate about supporting women navigating the challenges of perimenopause and menopause. This stage of life frequently brings a surge of symptoms such as irritability, brain fog, and anxiety where you might find yourself drinking more than you intended just to get through the day. I offer a nonjudgmental space to address these symptoms, helping you develop healthier ways to cope so you can feel like yourself again. My practice is built on a foundation of grace, respect, and the belief in the inherent dignity of every individual. I provide a supportive environment where we can work through the messiness together to build a life that aligns with your true values and goals.

Together, we can explore what brings you to therapy, identify your goals, and collaborate on steps toward healing, growth, and healthier relationships. I look forward to beginning this journey with you.

I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist who genuinely enjoys getting to know the person behind the symptoms. I work with teens and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, disconnected, or simply not quite like themselves. Sometimes you know exactly what you need help with; other times, you just know something feels off. I’ll meet you wherever you are, without judgment, and we’ll make sense of it together. My style is collaborative, trauma-informed, practical, and compassionate. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest, take a breath, and know that someone is genuinely invested in helping you feel better—not just checking boxes.

My first career includes 17 years of retail management. I worked in multiple divisions, environments, and roles within the retail management industry. Most of my experience was in big-box retail environments or corporate offices, so I understand the expectations and stressors of P&L management, marketing, staff performance/recruitment/training & development, shrinkage, O.S.H.A. compliance, and merchandising. I transitioned from the retail management industry to the human services industry in March 2010 after earning my Master’s degree in Human Services, with a specialty in Mental Health Counseling. I recently obtained a doctoral degree in Human and Social Services. This information is pertinent for adults who need assistance to cope with work-life balance, corporate industry standards, stressful work environments, conflict management with co-workers, and work performance due to compassion fatigue or inappropriate time management.
