Hello, I'm Donna. Are you feeling overwhelmed and stressed? Are you feeling anxiety? Are you feeling doldrums or depression? I want to help you discover the reasons behind these feelings. I want to assist you on the journey of self discovery and enlightenment. Why? Because you are worth it! I have 7+ years in experience working as a therapist in a private practice setting. I have experience as an intern working as an outpatient addiction counselor, I participated in a year long training to be an affirmative practice counselor working with the LGBTQ community. I am trained as a reiki master and I have helped individuals with depression, anxiety, and many other life stressors. There are many reasons that can cause the feelings that we have. You are unique and you are special. Together we will find your balance, we will discover what will help you find a brighter and shinier future. Let's work together! *** Please schedule appointments on the hour (i.e. 3:00, 4:00 etc.) and not on the half hour (i.e. 3:30, 4:30 etc.) or at the 15 or 45 minute times (i.e. 3:15 or 3:45 etc.) Thank you for your understanding as we work to improve the scheduling platform.***

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I look forward for the two of us to get to know each other better, and learning what your needs and goals are during the first session. My goal is to listen with empathy and to work as a team with you so you can learn “tools for your toolbox” to take forward with you. What your goals are…that is what we will work on.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

There are many treatment methods that I can utilize to help you reach your counseling goals. The main ones are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I consider myself organic in our sessions and through our sessions together we will utilize the methods that help you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My experiences as a counselor are very diverse. Anxiety and depression is my main focus but also trauma, past, present, and future issues that you need assistance with processing. I also have experience working with a diverse population and work well with women, men, and LGBTQ+. I have specialty training to have an open and affirming practice from all walks of life.
