Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you don't have to figure things out alone. I'm Paige, an LCPC who provides a supportive, judgment-free space where you can be yourself and talk openly about what's on your mind. I work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, depression, and life's challenges, including those who feel stuck and are ready to start making sense of what's going on. My goal is to help you feel understood, build on your strengths, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. I'd love to connect if this sounds like a fit.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, relaxed, and judgment-free environment where we can get to know each other. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. I'll take time to learn about your background, strengths, and goals so we can create a plan that fits your needs. Most importantly, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and confident about moving forward together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe that every person has unique strengths, and I work alongside my clients to help them better understand themselves, overcome challenges, and build meaningful change. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and trauma-informed care to support clients. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to reach their goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal therapy client is someone who is motivated to create meaningful change and ready to take an active role in their personal growth. They may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or navigating a challenging season of life, but they recognize they don't have to do it alone. They're looking for a supportive "leg up"—guidance, practical tools, and a collaborative space to help them move forward. They are open-minded and willing to explore new perspectives, develop healthier patterns, and step outside their comfort zone when it supports their goals. They value honesty, curiosity, and self-reflection, understanding that lasting change takes time and effort. While they don't need to have all the answers, they are willing to engage in the therapeutic process and practice what they learn between sessions. Whether they're working through anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, or personal growth, they are committed to building resilience, increasing self-awareness, and creating a more fulfilling life. Together, we'll focus on identifying strengths, overcoming obstacles, and developing practical strategies that align with their values and goals.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

My therapeutic approach is primarily person-centered and solution-focused. I believe clients are the experts on their own lives, and I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard, respected, and empowered. Together, we identify strengths, clarify goals, and build practical strategies that promote meaningful, lasting change. Rather than focusing solely on problems, I help clients recognize what's already working, develop effective coping skills, and take manageable steps toward the life they want. I tailor therapy to each individual's unique needs, values, and experiences, combining empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based techniques to support growth, resilience, and increased self-awareness.

Trauma Informed Care

I provide trauma-informed care grounded in an understanding of how trauma can affect emotions, relationships, physical health, and daily functioning. I have completed Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) training, which has equipped me with specialized knowledge to recognize the impact of trauma and support clients using evidence-informed, trauma-sensitive practices. My approach emphasizes creating a safe, collaborative, and empowering therapeutic environment where clients feel respected and supported. I work at each client's pace, helping them build coping skills, increase resilience, and move toward healing without pressure or judgment. Whether trauma is recent or rooted in past experiences, I strive to provide compassionate care that honors each person's unique story and strengths.

Psychoeducation

I believe psychoeducation is a vital part of the therapeutic process because understanding the "why" behind thoughts, emotions, and behaviors can empower clients to make meaningful, lasting changes. I strive to help clients better understand how their minds and bodies respond to stress, trauma, anxiety, and life challenges so they can approach themselves with greater insight and self-compassion. My goal is to provide practical, evidence-based information in a way that is easy to understand and apply to everyday life. By combining education with collaborative problem-solving, I help clients develop effective coping skills, increase self-awareness, and feel more confident in managing challenges both inside and outside of therapy. I believe that when clients understand what they're experiencing, they are better equipped to take an active role in their healing and personal growth.
