Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC/LMHC) based in the states of Illinois and Indiana. I received my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana. II also have a PhD in Christian Counseling from Newberg Theological Seminary in Evansville, IN. I have experience and practice for approximately 7 years. I enjoy helping others discover they can learn to live on the other side of their hurt and pain. I respect clients' autonomy and have a compassionate ear as I work to help you become successful in your future endeavors and management of your own life.
Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based in Illinois. I have worked in the mental health field for seventeen years in both hospital and outpatient settings. This experience includes work in direct patient care, program development, and in hospital administration in a clinical director role.
I also have taught coursework in psychology and human development in a university setting, and worked in an administrative capacity in secondary education in the state of Illinois. My educational background includes a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. My clinical approach brings behavioral intervention and education together in a clinical setting. I enjoy using psychoeducation as a foundation for treatment. That means I like to focus on educating the patient on their symptoms/diagnosis so we can collaborate on a treatment plan that they understand and makes sense for their life circumstance. If people understand why they experience the symptoms they have and how their body responds to stressors; it can give them the insight necessary to build skills to cope in a healthy and effective way.
Navigating adulthood is hard. If you are finding yourself overwhelmed with stress and pressure from a life transition, relationships, your job, school, etc. or feel lost in figuring out who you are or who you want to be, I'm here to help. I will meet you where you are in your journey of adolescence, young adulthood and beyond and provide support and tools to cope with challenges, improve relationships, reframe your thoughts, and practice consistent self-care.
I am a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals seeking to enhance their mental well-being and alleviate symptoms of distress. Holding a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and bringing years of experience in the medical field (EMS), I have gained a deep understanding of the complex challenges individuals encounter in both their professional and personal lives.

I began training to be a psychotherapist 15 years ago after having worked in publishing for many years. Becoming a Social Worker and helping others has always been a kind of calling for me, but it took a little while for me to arrive at my goal. I hope that that part of my story helps to prove that it is never too late to change or to pursue goals. I continue to integrate the things that I have learned through formal education and through my own experiences of life so that I am best able to help others who are experiencing distress and difficulties with navigating life.
We all need additional support from time-to-time, especially given the complicated, fast-changing world we live in. My goal as a psychotherapist is to be a source of support and assistance as you develop insight into the difficulties you face and as you begin to develop strategies for change. Through interactive-therapy sessions, I help you to understand and clarify life’s challenges and I support you as you begin to make the changes that are needed to make progress towards your goals. I help my clients to discover and explore a positive path in therapy that they can then continue to follow as they pursue their goals and their lives independently.

First Session
In our first session, my focus is on getting to knowing you- what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping to gain from our work together, and what may have felt difficult or painful lately. I’ll ask gentle questions to better understand your experiences, your history, your strengths and the goal you have for therapy- where you want your life to be, a month, six months, a year from now. Then we’ll identify options and strategies you can use to get there. You will leave the session with a better understanding of what you are facing and I can help you begin making sense of your experiences, recognizing your strengths, and identifying the next steps toward healing. There is no pressure to share anything you are not ready to discuss. We will begin building a foundation of trust and understanding and develop a collaborative plan for our work together. Most importantly we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
My name is Miguel Lopez, a Hispanic male (He/Him/His) and U.S. Army combat veteran who brings a unique perspective to my work as a therapist. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about guiding people through life’s challenges, I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University, a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice from Pikes Peak State College. With over a decade of experience as a caseworker, substance abuse counselor, and therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients facing real-life struggles and in need of daily support.
Life can be tough, and we all face difficult moments—whether it’s a breakup, divorce, grief, the loss of a loved one or pet, or even a job loss. In these times, having an unbiased person to offer support can make a world of difference. I see trauma as an unexpected part of life that is often hard to process, but with the right help, it can be managed and overcome healthily. I’ve personally experienced more than my share of trauma, grief, loss, sadness, depression, and substance use, and I sought help to work through them.
My approach to therapy is centered on helping people in the best way possible, always with an open mind. I often use Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as a guide, because I believe mental health is hard to prioritize when physical needs aren’t met, or issues like homelessness or substance abuse are present. I enjoy working with clients from age 5 to older adults who face Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, and other mental health or substance use challenges. It’s easy to fight battles alone and suffer in silence, but you don’t have to anymore—together, we can work toward healing and a better future.
For the past decade, I have been diligently offering counseling services to individuals seeking transformative life changes or simply seeking solace in processing their emotions and thoughts. My focus has been on guiding clients toward personal growth and emotional well-being through compassionate and insightful support.
I was drawn to a career as a therapist by a deep-rooted desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. Witnessing the immense potential for personal growth and healing that can be achieved through therapy, I felt a strong calling to be a facilitator of that transformative process. The opportunity to provide support, guidance, and empowerment to individuals facing challenges and seeking to improve their well-being is what truly drives me. Seeing clients overcome obstacles, gain insight, and experience positive change reinforces my passion and commitment to this meaningful work.
I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University in Chicago. I believe the most essential element of therapy is developing a trusting, therapeutic alliance in order to facilitate change. I specialize in integrated treatments for addressing co-occurring disorders, offering genuine compassion, honesty, and humor, along with a trauma informed care approach to treatment.
I work independently running a private practice and my experiences include working as an outpatient mental health therapist at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, serving those struggling with mental health issues as well as psychiatric disorders in the community. I have also provided psychotherapy at Family Guidance Centers, assisting those with substance use and psychiatric disorders after completing my internship with Rosecrance Treatment Center working as a substance abuse counselor.

Hi, I'm Alex (she/her/hers). I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) in Illinois. I received my Master's Degree from Webster University (Saint Louis, MO) and have been practicing for 8+ years. I help young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/loss, ADHD, support needs, and more. I love utilizing an eclectic approach because no one theory or modality works with all clients. My goal is to help you reach your goals and help you be the best version of yourself.
Some fun things about me, I have 3 cats with my husband. I love sports (Go StL Cardinals, Blues, and KC Chiefs!). I enjoy Pokémon and building my collection of cards. I am an Aries and enjoy lots of different music. Looking forward to meeting with you :)
Hello and thank you for taking the time to reach out! Do you ever have those days when things are especially difficult?? Many of the people that I meet are looking for support with mental health, substance abuse, and managing traumatic events. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as well as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Currently, I work with adults and youth, and I'm a strong believer in the mental/physical health connection. I also support a small hospice team in my area so am comfortable having uncomfortable conversations.
I believe in strengths-based recovery that looks at all the systems that can impact us. Bits and pieces of different models incorporated together tend to have the most benefit, based on the person's needs. I have seen so many great successes! I enjoy supporting the people I work with and going through their journey with them. I am currently licensed in IL, MI and TN. When I am not in sessions, you will find me hiking with the doggos, traveling with my social groups,, and going into "Mom Mode" with my three kids.
I look forward to connecting with you :)
Right now you are probably scared. You know something needs to change, but you don’t know where to start. You don't know if this works and you're at the point where you are afraid that nothing will work. We have all been there, me included. I understand and I do not judge.
I have been a clinical therapist for the past 20 years. In my time I have worked with adolescents, adults, couples, geriatric patients, and LGBTIQQ individuals. What I have discovered in all my years of practice is that people all want the same things. We want to know that we are loved, valued and respected.
I can promise you that when you speak to me you will be the only person that matters. You will not find judgement and you will not find blame. We will work together, at your own pace. I will help you find hope, unwavering support and the motivation to change the things in your life that you feel need to be changed. Together, we can improve your life. I'm here whenever you're ready.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addictions Counselor with extensive experience supporting adults and families through anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, relationship concerns, substance-use challenges, life transitions, and everyday stress. I provide a culturally responsive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.
My approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), grief therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based, trauma-informed care. I help clients process loss at their own pace, honor their experiences, and develop healthy ways to adjust to life after significant change. Through ACT, clients learn to approach difficult thoughts and emotions with greater awareness and acceptance while taking meaningful steps toward a life guided by their values. Together, we will strengthen coping skills, increase emotional flexibility, and work toward healing and sustainable change.

I graduated with my masters degree in social work from Florida International University in 2016 and I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor based in Illinois. My mission is to help individuals in their life journey through a mental health lens addressing social-emotional learning, skill building, and communication. I have many years of experience working with individuals who have neurodevelopmental disorders as well as individuals who have struggles with daily challenges. I have experience working in a variety of roles and settings with individuals and families.
I am a licensed clinical social worker by education, and I have been a licensed clinician for over 23 years. Most recently my career has brought me to work in collaboration with GROW as a private therapist. I have been working on GROW for nearly 2 years. I also work part time as a group therapy counselor for aging adults in an intensive mental health and community outreach program. I love both occupational settings and my clients with ever growing passion.
We live in a fast-moving society, and it can be hard to keep up with all of our various adult life roles and responsibilities. Adults, young and mature, who are making mental health a priority in their lives are notably the most satisfied and happy individuals in this challenging society. I offer my clients a safe space to explore their experiences in this world, express and understand their feelings, get to know themselves on a deeper level, and learn skills to take control of their thoughts and emotions. I will often challenge my clients to intentionally practice new skills or approaches outside of our sessions. My ultimate objective is helping my clients achieve their definition of personal success and satisfaction.
I have worked with a variety of adult clients of various ages and life phases. Each phase of our adult life comes with unique challenges. I have extensive and varied experience working with adults in late stages of life, long past retirement, and clients who are nearing death. The last stage of life can be the most challenging and requires the most assistance yet there are limited services to support the mental health needs of the current aging population. This is a serious problem, and I am on a mission to be part of the solution.
Reaching out for support can be one of the hardest parts of starting therapy. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. Therapy can be a space to slow down, talk openly about what you’re experiencing, and gain a different perspective on the challenges you’re facing.
My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. My style is warm, conversational, and thoughtfully questioning. Rather than simply telling you what to do, I’ll help you explore your thoughts, recognize patterns, make connections, and identify practical steps that feel realistic for your life.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, build effective coping skills, identify solutions, and work toward meaningful goals. Because no two people have the same experiences or needs, treatment is collaborative and individualized to you.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult transition, struggling with anxiety or depression, or simply recognizing that something in your life needs to change, you don’t have to work through it alone. Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but reaching this point means you’ve already started. Let’s take the next step together.
As a licensed therapist in Florida, I provide a warm, supportive space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, as well as other life or mental health stressors.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, struggling with stress or past experiences, or simply looking for support through a difficult season of life, my goal is to walk alongside you and help you move toward healing, growth and lasting change.

Life can be challenging, but you don't have to navigate it alone.
If you feel lost and unsure of your life's direction, are struggling with strained relationships, or find yourself overwhelmed by daily responsibilities, know that you are not alone. Many people share these feelings, and seeking guidance is a courageous first step toward change. Children, adolescents, and adults alike can feel discouraged, unmotivated, and frustrated by life's demands. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with individuals across all life stages to address these challenges.
For children, I help develop social skills, identify and manage emotions, and teach problem-solving strategies for everyday situations.
For adolescents, I assist in exploring life choices such as, peer and parent relationships, identity, attend or not attending college, and managing complex emotions.
For adults, I provide support in finding purpose, building self-care routines, and navigating life's transitions.
Together, we'll identify your current concerns and explore how your past experiences may be shaping your present. By uncovering your strengths, we'll create practical strategies to help you move forward. We'll set meaningful goals and work collaboratively to achieve them in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment.

Hello! I have been continuously licensed as a Clinical Psychologist since 1999. I grew up poor in inner city Cleveland. I was the 1st in my family to complete a college degree of any kind. I was a truck driver before I became a psychologist. I have a neuromuscular disability which effects my lower arms and hands and lower legs and feet. I use a wheelchair for long distances but I can walk a little. I graduated with a BA in psychology from Cleveland State University in 1992. I graduated with my doctorate in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago in 1998.
I’m a licensed therapist in IL dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore difficult emotions, relationship patterns, life transitions, traumatic events, and much more. I believe meaningful change happens when we better understand ourselves, develop healthier coping, and strengthen our connection to our authentic selves.
As a mental health professional for over twenty-five years, I am dedicated to helping clients explore options and strategies so that they may live a healthier and happier life. I provide compassionate care and counseling to individuals in Illinois, Missouri and Florida via Telehealth. I possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work specializing in Mental Health and Addictions. I also have completed a Master of Business Administration Degree focused on Healthcare Management. I am a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, camping and traveling.
I have extensive experience in Leadership and Direct Care positions within Inpatient and Outpatient Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Recovery and Rehabilitation facilities. As a result of those experiences, I witnessed and truly believe mental health and addiction recovery is possible. As we each experience our life’s journey, the good, bad, and ugly, we continue to learn and grow along the way. Many journeys will include troubled times resulting in anxiety, mood disorders, grief, loss, parenting difficulties, relationship issues, addictions and other challenges along the way. But most will also include exciting and positive times such as graduations, college, marriage, career advancements, births, relocations, new homes, new friends, and many more. Although positive, adjustment to these experiences may also result in a need for support during the transition.
As a Social Worker, my approach will focus on the whole individual to identify other factors contributing to the current problem. This will include past and current relationships, health issues, work, living and social environments.
My goal is to help clients find hope, joy and peace. They will achieve this by learning to view problems differently and using healthy coping skills to make changes and adjust to a new normal.
I am a client centered therapist/psychologist with 13+ years of experience working with couples and individuals age 18 and older. My schedule is generally Monday through Thursday from 9-5 PT and Friday from 9-3 PT. You can expect me to be empathic and understanding of your concerns, without judgment. I won't be telling you how to live your life or giving you advice you haven't asked for. If you want advice, please don't hesitate to ask. I will do my best. I work with you to help you gain insight into what is bothering you. Together we can help find new ways of understanding yourself (self-empathy) and discover/change how you are looking at the world around you. We can work to relieve symptoms of depression and anxiety. My goal is to eventually have you be able to better handle feelings and emotions and live a happier more fulfilled life without me being there to help. What are your goals? What would you like to work on with me?
I have over 3 decades of experience working in the fields of mental health and social work. I work with youth, adults, families, and couples who are struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, relationship issues, and school refusal. Prior to private practice, I worked in academia as an administrator of social work programs and as a medical social worker.
My name is Jennifer Duque and I have over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. I love helping clients who are struggling with issues related to anxiety, depression, and stress management, as well as couples and individuals struggling with relationship issues. I meet each client where they are at; providing a laid back, comfortable environment for clients. I believe this approach gives them the opportunity to share and grow. I feel like therapy is a collaborative effort between client and therapist. Let's work together to get you to where YOU want to be.
On paper, your life may look like it’s together. You show up for work, take care of the people around you, and handle your responsibilities. But underneath that, you may be carrying anxiety, burnout, loneliness, relationship stress, or the constant pressure to keep it all together.
If you’ve spent years being “the strong one,” therapy can feel unfamiliar or even uncomfortable. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to perform, have all the answers, or pretend you’re okay.
My style is warm, conversational, and direct. I’ll meet you with compassion while also helping you recognize the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together we’ll build practical tools, increase insight, and create meaningful change that extends beyond our sessions.
I enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, boundaries, dating and relationships, family dynamics, burnout, and major life transitions. I serve clients throughout North Carolina and Illinois via secure telehealth.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor who provides compassionate, culturally responsive therapy. As a bilingual therapist, I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life stressors, major transitions, women's issues, and parenting challenges. I am especially passionate about supporting women and parents who may feel overwhelmed or stretched by the demands of daily life.
My goal is to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we work to build practical coping skills, strengthen emotional well-being, and help clients move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
