As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist, I believe mental health gives us the language to name, understand, and care for both our most painful and most meaningful experiences. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma-related challenges, helping them make sense of their inner world and build more grounded, fulfilling lives. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and rooted in helping clients reframe limiting beliefs and develop tools that support lasting change.
In our work together, you can expect to gain insight, tools, and perspective. I offer psychoeducation to help you better understand what you're noticing within yourself, and I often provide practices or reflections. Sometimes this comes in the form of homework to support your growth between sessions. My goal is to help you become more self-aware and confident in navigating life’s challenges. I believe you already carry wisdom and healing tools within you. My role is to be a co-creator in helping you recognize, strengthen, and build upon them.
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and rooted in both warmth and honesty. I aim to be a gentle, yet challenging presence. Someone who holds space for both tears and laughter. Together, we explore your story, uncover patterns, and build practical tools that support growth and healing. I believe in meeting clients where they are while also inviting them to stretch into new ways of being.
I am best positioned to support people who are navigating trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, or identity-related challenges. While much of my work centers Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and other people of color, I welcome clients of all backgrounds who are seeking a space that feels grounded, affirming, and culturally aware. Many of the people I work with are carrying the weight of intergenerational pain, relationship stress, or major life transitions. I especially enjoy working with those who are ready to show up for themselves, whether it is their first time in therapy or they are returning after some time away. My role is to offer a space where you can be fully seen, heard, and supported in your healing journey.
I take an eclectic approach that honors each person’s unique story, culture, and healing journey. I pull from different methods to create a space that truly meets you where you are and supports your growth.
I use CBT to gently explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions. Together, we work to unlearn patterns shaped by trauma, culture, and experience, and build healthier ways of being.
I use DBT in a way that feels relatable and empowering. Teaching skills like emotional regulation and mindfulness while honoring the realities and resilience of people navigating everyday stress.
