My name is Lee Maxwell; a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Maximum Wellness, LLC. I have lived and worked in Metro Atlanta for over two decades. I grew up in rural Georgia; born to older parents who instilled in me the value of connection with others and treating others as I would want to be treated. I gained my passion for working in Geriatrics from my mother, who, on most Sundays throughout my childhood, would take me along with her to visit a local nursing home.
I obtained my undergraduate degree in Sociology from Georgia Southern University; followed by a graduate degree in Clinical Social Work from Savannah State University. I have been working in the field of mental health care for 25 years; 16 of which have been dedicated to providing psychotherapy services; primarily to a geriatric population. After working in senior living communities throughout the pandemic, I decided to afford myself the opportunity to work with a younger population; which I found to be refreshing and resulted in opening up my private practice to include services for all adults over the age of 18yo. I have been professionally licensed in the state of Georgia since 2009.
I help people facing difficulties in their lives to grow, understand, and thrive. My past experiences include the provision and supervision of crisis services, as well as years of work in the behavioral health policy realm. I believe in the advancement of the rights of all individuals as a personal and professional responsibility.
Currently, I specialize in trauma-informed therapy to help alleviate anxiety, depression, and maladaptive coping mechanisms. Together we will collaborate to nurture resilience, foster self-acceptance, and build meaningful connections in your life.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am driven by a strong desire to help others navigate the complexities of life and improve their mental health and wellbeing. I have always been interested in the human mind and the ways in which it can be affected by the world around us, and I believe therapy is a powerful tool for addressing these issues.

Hello, I’m Adrienne.

I earned my Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Kentucky in 2017. My therapeutic approach is rooted in CBT. I incorporate whole-body wellness and a holistic approach to treatment. I provide individual counseling incorporating support systems as needed.
I am a licensed professional counselor who values authenticity, collaboration, and practical growth in the therapeutic process. I am Brianna Brooks, an Afrocentric therapist based in Atlanta and the founder of Mastering My Reality.
I believe that lasting transformation begins with mastering your emotions. When you understand your emotional world, you become better equipped to make intentional decisions, build healthier relationships, and create the life you envision.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, culturally responsive, and tailored to each individual's unique experiences. I integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches with an Afrocentric perspective, recognizing the importance of culture, identity, community, and personal strengths in the healing process.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or personal growth, my goal is to provide a safe, empowering space where you can gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Healing isn't about becoming someone else. It's about mastering your reality so you can live with greater peace, purpose, and authenticity.
I truly saw the need for more mental health professionals in my community when I lost my father in 2006. Since that day, I began my journey of understanding the mind and how it works. We go through many major life transitions such as breakups, divorce, having children, new professions, loss of income, moving, pandemic stress and more. Most do not realize just how traumatic these seemingly “normal” events are to us at times.
I am here to help you if you feel overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, angry or confused concerning anything that has been thrown at you in your life. If you feel that what you are dealing with is too much to handle on your own, please reach out to me. We cannot stop this cycle of numbing or ignoring mental health issues in our world if we do not start within.
As a mental health advocate, I am here for you. I have seen the impact of a lack of relatable and accessible mental health programs and providers. I am here to be the bridge and get you the solutions, support, and guidance you need.
I am here because I want to help. I consider both my personal and professional life experience as invaluable in working with others. I believe people are "hard-wired" to live with authenticity and become the best version of themselves and I would enjoy helping you with that process. I have deep compassion for the human condition and it fuels my desire to help. Helping others let go of what interferes with life satisfaction, helping their authentic self thrive and live their best life is rewarding. I do not see people as broken, rather as being heroic in navigating life challenges with sometimes inadequate skills and patterns that arose out of their unique personal life story. I embrace the concept that we are on earth to have an opportunity to enjoy the incredible experiences life can offer and we are also capable of finding ways to reduce or eliminate suffering. By the grace of our creator I have been provided with life and experience to be able to offer my services. I look forward to supporting you with gentle guidance, increased confidence and heart in your journey forward. I would be grateful and honored to work with you.

Hello, and welcome! I am Elena, a trilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from Atlanta, Georgia, and have been practicing since 2013. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University. For the past decade I worked with incarcerated teens (and on probation, or in community) helping them approach problematic behaviors and improve these by avoiding future incarcerations. During our sessions we address issues such as depression, anxiety, family conflict, trauma, relationships, and anger management, among many other issues that might led to delinquency. My specialty is treating individuals with difficulties effectively communicating their needs within their relationships with parents, siblings, relatives, friends, etc., with an emphasis on assertiveness training for building and nurturing long-lasting interpersonal relationships.
There is no one size fits all approach to therapy, so I like to tailor my approach to fit my client's unique needs. Hello, my name is Ashbina, however, I go by Misha. I have 4 years of experience working as a mental health counselor. During those 4 years, I gained the experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and life transitions, including those related to immigration and cultural adjustment. As someone who understands the unique challenges that can come with navigating different cultural expectations and environments, I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported.
Are you striving to find satisfaction with your work, life or relationships? Do you want to focus on fixing immediate problems rather than unraveling past hurts? Do you want to build a strong foundation for your current or future relationship? Have you grown tired of being treated like a problem and not a person? I primarily take a narrative approach to counseling. Narrative therapy begins with the premise that you are not the problem; the problem is the problem. The way we see ourselves can be defined by the language that we use. I see my role as a co-author, helping you develop an alternate personal history so that you may move forward with courage and confidence.

She has a wide range of career experience that allows her to adapt to the varied needs of her clients. Her goal is for all her patients to become open to gaining new perspectives and be willing to explore family dynamics and upbringings that have developed them into the persons they are today. Tara works with her clients to assist them with changing any self-defeating thoughts and behaviors.
She truly believes that caring for yourself and your relationships are the most important task that you will ever have.

Hi, I'm so glad you're here! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Valdosta State University. I was born and raised in Nebraska but have made Georgia my home, and I truly love it here.
I became a therapist because I genuinely care about people and believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate, meaningful support. I know that reaching out for help is not always easy, and I want you to know that taking that step says a lot about your strength and your commitment to yourself. My goal is to make sure that from the moment you connect with me, you feel welcome, heard, and comfortable.
I am an animal lover through and through, and that love has found a natural home in my clinical practice. I incorporate pet therapy into my work with clients, and I have seen firsthand the incredible impact that a furry friend can have on even the most difficult days. Whether it helps break the ice, ease anxiety, or simply bring a moment of joy into a hard season, it is one of my favorite tools to offer.
Outside of my passion for animals, I am deeply committed to doing work that matters. I show up for my clients with honesty, warmth, and a whole lot of heart. I believe in meeting people where they are, walking alongside them through the hard stuff, and celebrating the wins along the way — big and small.
If you are looking for a therapist who will be real with you, root for you, and work hard alongside you, I would love to connect. I can't wait to meet you.
