Hello, and welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. I look forward to working with you and your family. I believe communication—even when it is limited to a single word or gesture—is the foundation of all relationships. In fact, research shows that much of our communication is nonverbal. My goal is to help individuals and families understand their relational patterns, navigate conflict more effectively, and become more congruent and intentional communicators. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use concerns and relapse prevention, grief and trauma, and bipolar disorders. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in helping clients feel safe, understood, and empowered as they move through life’s challenges. Additionally, I specialize in autism-related family dynamics, caregiver burnout, and identity transitions. I am the author of Dear Single Mother: A Journal of Autism, Isolation, and Self-Discovery, a reflective work that explores resilience and meaning-making through lived experience. While my writing reflects personal insight, my clinical work is rooted in systemic, trauma-informed care that honors both evidence-based practice and each client's unique experiences in the therapy room.

The woman who has it all together on the outside is often the one carrying the most on the inside. If you're high-achieving, dependable, and exhausted — not from laziness but from carrying too much for too long — this is the space you've been looking for. I'm Whitley Frazier, LCSW, and I specialize in trauma-informed therapy for women and teens navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. My work is direct, warm, and grounded in approaches that actually produce change. EMDR is at the core of what I do. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR works at a neurological level — helping your brain reprocess stored trauma so it no longer controls how you feel, react, and relate. The result isn't just feeling better temporarily. It's actually being different on the other side. You don't have to keep white-knuckling through life. Healing is possible — and you're worth it.

My name is Kevin Crabtree, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. I wanted to be a therapist from the time I saw Deanna Troi on Star Trek: The Next Generation, because I knew even then that feeling truly heard and understood could change everything. Since 2008, I've worked with at-risk children and families, federal and state prisoners, and military service members and their families, and that range has given me a deep and practical understanding of how human beings actually navigate hard times. I am solution-focused and strength-based, and I work to reduce the stigma around mental health by helping clients build support, expand coping skills, and find language for what they're experiencing. I have a particular focus on men's mental health, especially for Southern men who may have grown up with the message that asking for help is a weakness. I believe getting support sooner makes everything else, relationships, career, daily life, more manageable, and I try to make that process feel as straightforward and judgment-free as possible. In our first session, I'll share a bit about my background, give you a tour of the Grow platform, and then we'll start talking about what brings you in and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. I takes a special interest in overcoming the barriers to mental health care for Southern men, aged 20-50.

Hi, I'm Ashley, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Reiki II practitioner. I believe that somewhere underneath the anxiety, the self-doubt, and the patterns that keep repeating, there is a version of you that already knows the way. My job isn't to fix you. It's to create a space steady enough that you can actually hear yourself. Together we get curious about the thoughts that won't quiet down, the emotions that feel bigger than the moment, the behaviors that keep showing up even when you don't want them to, and what all of it is actually trying to tell you. I utilize a holistic approach, bringing tools into our work that help you understand what's happening in your mind and body when you're overwhelmed, so you can actually do something about it instead of just surviving it. But more than any method or modality, I show up as a real person walking alongside you, trusting that you are the expert on your own life. If you're ready to listen to that wiser part of yourself and create meaningful change, I'd be honored to walk with you.

I'm Jeff, an LCSW and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and I founded Rogue Sun Counseling & Consulting to work with adults navigating trauma, substance use, or both. Before launching this practice, I served as Clinical Director at a residential addiction treatment center and later as Executive Director at two wellness centers, where I oversaw clinical programming for hundreds of clients working through substance use disorders, trauma, and the broader mental health challenges that often accompany both. That experience shaped how I practice now: I don't assume every client's story fits a single mold. Some clients come to me specifically for trauma, with no history of substance use at all. Others are focused entirely on changing their relationship with alcohol or drugs, with no significant trauma history to speak of. And some are working through both, where one has clearly fed into the other. My job is to figure out how I can best meet you where you are, drawing on years of leadership in addiction treatment alongside trauma-focused clinical work, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach to every person who walks through the door.

I believe that healing and growth doesn't require perfection-it begins with curiosity. Therapy can be a place where you slow down, make sense of your experiences, and begin taking steps towards your best possible self. Having had a natural curiosity most of my life, I bring that aspect into my therapy work with clients. My name is Amanda Chilleme, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, as well as a Master’s Certified Addiction Professional. For over 11 years, I have supported individuals in identifying what truly matters to them, navigating obstacles, and building a foundation for a more fulfilling future. My primary specialty is working with men and women struggling with substance use disorders as well as process and behavioral addictions, helping them find a pathway to a life that feels less burdened and more aligned. I also have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, grief and bereavement, trauma, attachment concerns, and personality disorders. As a clinician, I take a human-focused approach. I am not here to tell you what you need to work on—you already know the what. My role is to help you understand the why, and ultimately the how: how to shift it, heal it, overcome it, or, when appropriate, let it go altogether. Your first session is best described as a two-way interview. As I listen to your story and your narrative begins to take shape, we collaboratively determine two things: Whether I am the right therapist for you, and Whether this therapeutic relationship is the right fit for both of us. If we decide to move forward together, identifying your goals becomes your first assignment. This process allows me to better understand how you think, how you interpret challenges, and how barriers such as stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship dynamics show up for you. From there, we focus on one goal at a time. I see myself as your coach, teammate, and cheerleader! Whether you are just beginning therapy or have been on this journey for some time, I invite you to plant that seed—and see just how beautifully you grow.

I believe the best therapy happens through honest conversation and collaboration. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while helping you build practical skills that create meaningful change. My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I value authenticity and often keep an informal tone when it helps clients feel more at ease. Rather than telling you what to do, I work alongside you to better understand what's keeping you stuck and help you discover solutions that fit your life, values, and goals. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and psychoeducation. I believe that understanding why our minds and bodies respond the way they do can make change feel less overwhelming and more achievable. I'll help you develop practical tools while offering support, encouragement, and a little perspective along the way. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I'll meet you where you are. Together, we'll identify your strengths, build resilience, and create a path forward that feels realistic and sustainable. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as yourself without feeling like you have to have everything figured out. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. Most importantly, I tailor therapy to you. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, develop practical tools, and make changes that support the life you want to create.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Life Coach and I've been in practice for 17 years. Seeking therapy takes courage and personal growth begins when one is willing to take the first step towards change. Do you avoid conflict with others? Do you struggle to set boundaries with others? Do you experience manipulation and gaslighting in your relationships and wonder what is going on? It's not you. I assist clients who are healing from narcissistic abuse within intimate relationships and/or with family of origin. I partner with clients experiencing stress in relationships due to betrayal, infidelity, codependency, boundary issues and manipulation. I also work with clients in recovery from substance abuse and clients struggling to manage anger, anxiety, depression, work stress and life transitions. I meet clients where they are on their journeys and partner with them to solve their problems and move forward. If you're here, you've already taken the first step.

I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in the treatment of trauma. I have experience working with adults who are survivors of complex trauma and suffer from depression, anxiety, and addiction. My approach is strength-based and client-centered with modalities from Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I believe most people stagnate in change because they are afraid and don’t know what to do. Many clients have told me they “feel like they are going crazy.” I am here to tell you that you are not crazy. Your mind and body are reacting to a traumatic event, and many things you do to cope with that event are to help you deal with the trauma, “normal responses to an abnormal situation.” My approach is simple: break down the problem into parts and gradually work on “unpeeling the layers.” This process is not easy and is often painful. However, it will be worth it because you will experience a freedom you never knew was possible. I want you to learn to thrive and live a full life instead of just surviving daily. I graduated from Berry College with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2003 and Kennesaw State University with my Master’s in Social Work in 2014. I have 22 years of mental health experience in inpatient and outpatient settings.

We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Georgia from Athens to Savannah! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Georgia.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
