I am Valerie Larkin LPC. I have served clients in the Metropolitan Atlanta area for 12+ years. I currently utilize the telehealth platform for the convenience of those being served. I utilize the integrative approach (Cognitive Behavioral and Person-centered to therapy). Individual, couples, group, and grief therapy is offered to clients. I am an ordained minister who offer Christian Counseling to those who desire faith-based counseling. I am family oriented. I have 3 wonderful adult children + 3 adult children through marriage and a host of grand. In addition, I am married to Jeffrey Lewis, who I serve alongside in ministry. Jeffrey is also an Ordained Minister, Credentialing Coordinator and Certified Career & Life Coach.
First of all, I LOVE what I do, and it is one of my greatest joys to help people on their journey to feeling better. I tend to be somewhat informal, and employ humor in sessions, and hopefully be someone to whom people can easily relate. I’m also kind of a nerd - I game; I have too many weather apps on my phone; I love science fiction and fantasy novels/movies. I love fitness, and all sorts of outdoor activities.
