I received my master's degree from Florida Atlantic University and I have been working with clients in private practice since 2021. I help adults struggling with alcoholism/addiction, anxiety, and mood disorders with evidenced-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and person-centered therapy.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida, and my Master’s degree from Webster University. I have worked in the counseling field for over 10 years and have experience working with kids, teens, families, and couples. Additionally, my counseling experience has included inpatient, outpatient, and crisis stabilization units within the Florida Department of Corrections. I also served as the mental health authority within medium to low-risk juvenile inpatient programs. My experience also includes working within community social service agencies and Medicaid programs. In my years of professional experience, I have found that Depressive and Anxiety Disorders are managed best using Psychotherapy. Whereas many clients may find it helpful to include Antidepressant/Antianxiety medications, it has been my experience that medications alone are less effective and are often supported by Counseling Intervention with a Professional Counselor.
