About me

Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate and practical. I focus on helping clients feel emotionally safe, heard, and empowered throughout the healing process. We don’t just talk about problems, we work towards solutions. I utilize evidence-based techniques to help clients develop healthy coping skills, gain insight, and create lasting change. Together, we will work toward helping you feel more confident, balanced, and emotionally well. We are also able to incorporate Christian or faith-based counseling for clients who desire to include their faith as an important part of the therapeutic process. I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where you can reflect, and grow. I work with individuals, couples, and teens dealing with a wide range of situational stressors. We’ll identify your strengths, build on your skills, and develop effective coping and calming strategies. Through this process, you can gain deeper understanding, foster resilience, and renew a sense of empowerment. I also offer Christian/Faith Based counseling with over 12 years of professional experience.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Clients can expect our first session to be a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free space where they can openly discuss their concerns, goals, and experiences at their own pace. I focus on building rapport, understanding the client’s emotional, mental, and spiritual needs, while gathering background information that will help guide the therapeutic process so clients feel safe, respected, and empowered throughout the counseling journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I meet clients where they are and will assist them to where they would like to see themselves. I can either hold space for you or challenge those who need more of a push.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who recognizes that change is possible and is willing to take an active role in their own growth. They come to therapy open to exploring their thoughts, emotions, and patterns with honesty and curiosity, even when the process feels challenging. This client is ready to do the necessary work between sessions, apply what they learn, and partner with me in creating meaningful and lasting transformation in their life.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I help clients work through difficult thoughts and feelings, then reframe them in a way that supports meaningful action—so they can move forward in alignment with their deepest personal values.

Christian Counseling

My approach thoughtfully aligns clinical insight with faith-based and Christian values firmly rooted in Scripture. This creates a space where clients can explore their challenges through the lens of God’s Word, experiencing healing, renewed identity, and deeper alignment with their faith.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, understand how those thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors, and develop practical tools to shift them. Through this process, clients gain greater awareness and learn healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges.

Narrative

I utilize Narrative Therapy to help clients separate themselves from their problems or stressful situations and re-author the stories they tell about their lives. By exploring alternative narratives rooted in their strengths, values, and preferred identity, clients gain new perspective and a greater sense of agency.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utilize Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients shift their attention from problems toward solutions, strengths, and preferred futures. By exploring what is already working and identifying small, meaningful steps forward, clients build momentum and create lasting change more efficiently.
