I fell in love with psychological studies in high school. Becoming a therapist has fulfilled my curiosity about human existence and my quest for happiness. I used therapy to overcome my own struggle with fears, shame, and self-doubt, which has affirmed my faith in the helping profession. I have learned through training and personal experiences that all human beings have the same basic quests in life and that we all deserve a chance to develop our unique potential, contribute uniquely to the tapestry of life, and be happy. I have also learned that human growth can only lead to spiritual development and discovery. My growth in understanding the common threads of humanity helps me treat my clients with respect and compassion. I have had extensive training in CBT, EMDR, mindfulness, trauma-focused, and insight-oriented therapies. My inclination is to use an integrated approach that meets clients where they are and helps propel them forward to achieve their objectives.

I have been a practicing social worker for more than 30 years . Much of this experience has been working in a large public teaching hospital in Miami, Florida. The scope of service that the hospital provides is quite comprehensive which afforded me opportunities to work with a very diverse population . i have counseled patients and their families dealing with a variety of illnesses, both physical and mental health, survivors of sexual assault, and also providing counseling to patients in a correctional setting. I like challenging situations. My style of counseling is very eclectic, depends on the client and their unique set of problems. This can range from client centered, solution oriented or cognitive behavioral as many people are coming to therapy to learn new ways of thinking and alternative coping strategies. For the past two years, I have been involved in teletherapy providing psychotherapy to clients that are experiencing such problems as anxiety, depression, employment, relationship, and interpersonal difficulties. Also I have been providing counseling to teenagers dealing with the above issues and involving their parents when indicated.

Hello! I’m Dr. Thuydy (pronounced "Tweety"), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Sex Therapist, and Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology. I specialize in supporting individuals and couples navigating intimacy challenges, compulsive sexual behaviors, trauma, and relationship concerns. My doctoral research focused on trauma-informed treatment for compulsive sexual behaviors, which I bring into my clinical work with compassion, respect, and a nonjudgmental approach. I understand how difficult it can feel to navigate disconnection, conflict, or shame, especially when intimacy, sexuality, or past trauma are involved. My approach is trauma-informed, sex-positive, shame-resilient, and inclusive. I strive to create a safe, affirming space where clients from all backgrounds feel respected and supported, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+, engage in kink or BDSM, or practice consensual non-monogamy or polyamory. Together, we'll explore your unique experiences, identify patterns that no longer serve you, and develop practical tools for resilience, communication, and self-compassion. I predominantly work with young men struggling with social anxiety disorder. Do you struggle with social anxiety and poor self-confidence? I know that overcoming it is possible! Many come to therapy for social anxiety because of childhood trauma and how it has manifested in their adult lives. Often this manifests in feelings of poor self-confidence, poor self-worth, and poor self-confidence. At its root, the fundamental belief of those who have social anxiety is the belief, “I am not enough.” Clients get into the habit of comparing themselves to others and it makes them feel inadequate and insecure. Over time clients begin to avoid situations that elicit their anxiety, particularly social situations. This can lead to social isolation and loneliness. Clients will present with complaints of frequent panic attacks, not having a romantic partner, not having friends, not being happy in their jobs and feeling disconnected from life. They are labeled by others as shy, quiet, or introverted. This scenario described myself for much of my life which gives me lived experience to better able to assist you. I help individuals combat their social fears and begin to live a rich and fulfilling life. I do this through cognitive behavioral therapy techniques primarily but also integrate solution-focused therapy, assertiveness training, exposure therapy, and acceptance & commitment therapy. Whether you're a teen struggling to make friends and socialize or you are an adult unable to speak up at work meetings or unable to ask someone out on a date, I'm here for you! Seeking therapy can be frightening but I want to assure you that you will be most welcome if you take that leap of faith!

Congratulations on taking the first step towards healing, despite feeling worried or unsure, perhaps even hopeful, despite misgivings. Choosing to change is difficult, and you are doing it!! With 26 years of practice, I bring professional expertise, personal understanding, sincerity, warmth and caring to your healing journey. Whether you’re navigating life solo or in a relationship, unresolved childhood trauma can quietly shape your patterns, reactions, and relationships. I help individuals and couples uncover those early wounds and start healing—through psychotherapy grounded in neuroscience and mindfulness. Because healing isn’t just talk; it’s nervous system deep. The body keeps the score, but you get to rewrite the story. Let’s create the life you were always meant to live. Not all therapies or therapists are created equal, as you know if you are still struggling with the same issues. Time for a change. If you want to feel better about yourself, confident, excited about life, build healthier relationships, and become your best self, welcome to creating your best life. Together, we'll integrate Mind/Body/Spirit approaches with classical therapeutic interventions tailored to your unique needs.

With over 30 years of public service and a strong foundation in military and clinical care, I bring deep experience, compassion, and understanding to my work as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. My journey began in the U.S. military, where I served as a medic in hospitals and clinics across the country. There, I witnessed firsthand the impact of trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges—an experience that inspired my lifelong dedication to helping others heal. Following my service, I spent over two decades in crisis intervention, responding to and supporting individuals in crisis. These years reinforced my belief that empathy, patience, and listening can change lives.

My name is Nicole Nonclerc, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Master's Level Certified Addictions Professional (MCAP), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) in Florida with 10+ years' experience in mental health and addiction treatment. I have worked with clients of all ages, from early childhood through elderly adults, and am comfortable treating a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders. I recently completed my PhD in Criminal Justice at Nova Southeastern University, as well. My counseling style tends to be solution-focused and interactive. My approach combines multiple therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral, motivational enhancement, and humanistic approaches in order to create a unique plan of action for each client. I recognize that making the decision to pursue counseling as a method of making positive changes in your life is daunting, but if you are ready to improve your life, even if you’re not sure where to begin, then I am happy to support and encourage you along this journey! In therapy, I counsel individuals, families, couples, and children. No matter how trivial an issue may seem, everyone has issues in life. If it is causing you emotional pain, that is a good reason to seek out help. I understand everyone has a different journey in their lives and I would like to assist you in your path to self-discovery and healing. Your issues may be stress, loneliness, sadness, frustration, or concern for a loved one. You are not alone and I am ready to help you explore strategies to help you improve your life. Each session is provided in a warm and compassionate environment. I will ask you some questions so I can understand which issues you want to focus on. Therapy is a process of learning and the rewards are great. You will develop parts of yourself that you did not know existed. This will help you to become a better parent, partner, and best friend to yourself and your loved ones. Are you ready to take that step of self-discovery to become the best version of yourself? I want to guide you in your path to self-discovery, happiness, and peace. I have been counseling clients for over 24 years and I work with all populations. My counseling modalities include Cognitive behavioral therapy, Solution-focused, and Person-Centered therapy. When I counsel children, I use all of these in addition to Play therapy. Many of the therapeutic issues we work together on are Self-esteem, relationships, communication, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, ADHD, Social skills, and grief. I am a licensed therapist and have a Masters Degree in counseling. I have spent many years counseling children, adolescents, and adults. Although therapy may look different with each population, the process is equally meaningful in all sessions.
