My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past 10 years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I've been using ACT in my practice and it helps individuals increase their psychological flexibility by encouraging them to accept thoughts and feelings without judgment, while simultaneously committing to actions aligned with their values.

Motivational Interviewing

I also have used Motivational Interviewing (MI) as a counseling approach and it helps my clients resolve ambivalence about changing their behavior and discover their own motivation for change. It focuses on building a collaborative partnership between myself and my client. This approach allows me to guides my client to explore their values, identify discrepancies between their current behavior and desired goals, and ultimately find the reasons to change.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy, also known as grief counseling, uses various methods to help my clients process and cope with loss, ultimately aiding them in adapting to their new reality. It provides a safe space to explore emotions, thoughts, and memories related to the loss, allowing individuals to find ways to move forward while maintaining a connection to their loved one
