About me

Hi, I’m Natacha, a Licensed psychotherapist, qualified supervisor to therapy interns, author, and founder of a private practice that provides therapy services in English and Haitian-Creole. I'm also a wife and mom of three. I specialize in supporting women and families through life’s challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and maternal mental health. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, with the goal of helping you heal, grow, and feel more balanced in your daily life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session with me, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your background, your current challenges, and your goals so we can create a plan that feels right for you. You can also ask me any questions about the therapy process. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, supported, and comfortable taking the first step toward healing.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is that I combine evidence-based methods like Brainspotting, CBT, and DBT with a warm, compassionate style that makes clients feel safe and understood. I meet clients where they are, tailoring each session to their unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. Clients often share that they appreciate my ability to balance deep healing work with practical strategies they can apply right away in their daily lives. This results in meaningful progress—whether it’s relief from trauma symptoms, improved relationships, or greater confidence navigating life transitions.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adults who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives but feel weighed down by anxiety, depression, trauma, or the stress of life transitions. I also specialize in supporting moms through pregnancy, postpartum, and the many challenges of motherhood. My clients are often seeking both relief from emotional pain and practical tools to navigate daily life with more confidence and balance. Whether you’re looking to process past experiences, strengthen your relationships, or simply feel more like yourself again, I provide a compassionate, supportive space to help you get there.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and trauma informed modalities such as Brainspotting. My experience includes working with individuals struggling with maternal mental health, women's issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. In my practice, I begin by assessing whether the method is appropriate for the client’s goals and readiness. I then integrate it into a tailored treatment plan, combining it with other evidence-based approaches when beneficial. For example, I might use CBT to address underlying trauma while also incorporating these skills to help clients manage current symptoms. This approach allows clients to experience both deep healing and practical tools they can use in their daily lives.
