Hi! I’m a licensed clinical social worker based in Florida with over a decade of experience in social work and three years dedicated to practicing mental health therapy. I earned my Master’s degree from Stony Brook University in New York and have since been passionate about helping individual adults from all walks of life achieve their best version of life. My focus is on helping those experiencing emotional pain walk towards improved mental wellness and a greater sense of fulfillment.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, client can expect it to be like a meet and greet. If this is their first time in therapy, I will explain how the therapy process work and the different interventions available to help them process their pain. The first session also includes a bit of history taking of what brings them in (the present problem), what is it they are looking to get out of attending therapy (treatment plan) and the client's unique background.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strength is my active and reflective listening skill. I am present and attuned with my clients which helps guide the session. I give my client therapy exercises as this helps move them forward to their therapy treatment goals.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with adults who have experienced life traumas and are looking for a therapist to help them process/resolve post-traumatic symptoms. My clients are eager to sit with these past events in order to process and heal from them.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I integrate faith-based therapy into my practice to support clients seeking guidance through a spiritual lens. By combining evidence-based therapeutic practices with biblical principles, I help individuals navigate life challenges in a way that aligns with their values and beliefs, fostering hope, renewal, and peace through faith.

EMDR

I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help my clients process and heal from their past traumas, negative beliefs, and emotional distress. EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based approach that uses bilateral stimulation to facilitate the brain’s natural healing process. By addressing the root of distressing memories, my clients often experience profound relief and greater emotional resilience. I tailor each session to your unique needs, creating a safe and supportive environment for transformative growth.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with healthier, more constructive ways of thinking and responding.
