Hi! I'm a Licensed Therapist (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my degree from Nova Southeastern University in South Florida and have been practicing for the past 23 years. Certified in CBT. CBT is used to help clients understand that healthy thoughts lead to healthy feelings and behaviors and therefore skills are taught to facilitate this.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT strategies are used to help to help clients stay focused on the present moment and accept thoughts and feelings without judgment. Clients are coached on strategies to help them move forward through difficult emotions so they are able to put their energy into healing instead of focussing on the negative.
