I grew up in Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work. I began my career in a county jail mental health unit, where I became proficient in crisis intervention, assessments, and group therapy. While there, I not only logged needed clinical hours, but also studied for and passed the licensing exam for the State of Florida to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Since then, I have worked at an air force base, offering therapy to individuals and families, as well as a substance/mental health rehab program for the Veteran's Administration. I also volunteer with survivors of gun violence who are grieving and/or coping with trauma.
I love being a therapist! It’s humbling to be a part of my clients’ lives as they heal, grow, and go after their goals.
Hi, my name is Elizabeth, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree in Psychology. My objective is to help you achieve your goals and feel better about your emotional well-being and your life . I hope to help you work through challenges and find new coping skills. My initial goal is to help you feel like this is a “safe space” to discuss your personal issues.
I am a seminary-trained clinical therapist and combat veteran with over 13 years of international experience, including service in ministry abroad. My background allows me to work thoughtfully and effectively with clients from diverse cultures, identities, belief systems, and life experiences.
I work with adults navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and major life stressors. I strive to provide a respectful, collaborative, and grounded therapeutic space where clients feel understood and supported as they work toward healing, clarity, and meaningful change.
Your journey unfolds through real connections and transformative experiences. Your growth, understanding, and healing are the primary focus that we share. Let's walk together on this path of self-discovery and empowerment.
Every story is unique, every voice matters. Whatever your challenge, concerns, or issues may be, therapy can help to improve your life, perspective, and behaviors. All age groups are accepted. I have extensive experience working with young children, teens, and adults.
I have been practicing mental health counseling since 2004. I have worked with a wide variety of psychological and life issues over the years and have found that the most important part of a successful therapy experience is having an authentic, trusting relationship with my clients. I strive to create a safe and compassionate environment where you can explore and discuss vulnerable topics and feel understood. I’m interested in supporting you through the process of achieving your goals.
I view therapy as a process of both healing and development. Life is hard and everyone has sustained emotional or psychological injuries of some kind. These injuries can be limiting because they keep us stuck in unfulfilling patterns of emotions, behaviors, and relationships, and distort our sense of self. As we engage in the process of healing, those negative patterns begin to shift until they no longer fit or make sense. Life becomes more fulfilling as you develop into a more authentic self.
I know the idea of going to therapy can be a bit overwhelming. You may already be dealing with debilitating anxiety, depression, OCD, or other mental health concerns – so adding therapy to your plate may seem like a lot. But take it from someone who’s been in your shoes: therapy can change your life. It WILL change your life. As a warm, down-to-earth therapist in Florida with over a decade of experience, I’m ready to meet you wherever you are in your mental health journey, always free from judgment, and empower you to learn how to genuinely love who you are, thrive in relationships, and finally enjoy your life!
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who, for over 13 years, has enjoyed partnering with clients to create meaningful, positive change in their lives.
My therapeutic approach is largely formed by attachment theory, and also draws from a combination of individual and systemic therapy models (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Bowenian, and family therapy). I also have specialized training in Trauma-Focused CBT.

Are you feeling stuck? Overwhelmed? Struggling with relationships or making decisions? Life can often feel out of control. Therapy can help. Finding the right therapist matters so here's a little about me to help you decide.
As a teenager, I often wished for someone outside my family or friends—someone who would truly listen without judgment, a sounding board to help me navigate life’s decisions. That experience inspired me to become that person for others.
For over 12 years, I’ve worked as a psychotherapist, supporting clients through relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, career transitions, neurodivergence, parenting, burnout, and spiritual or existential questions. Every person is unique, which is why I take a collaborative and compassionate approach—tailoring evidence-based techniques to your specific needs and goals.
If you’re ready to begin your journey toward healing and growth, I would be honored to walk alongside you. You are worthy!

Hello!
My name is Alysa Gregory, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I grew up in a small city in Michigan and moved to Florida in 2015, where I obtained my Master’s Degree and Licensure in Clinical Social Work.
I have always had a passion for practicing as a therapist, and the reason is simple; I believe that all human beings are and were created equally and ultimately are all in search of the same thing in life, happiness. It took me some time before I chose to pursue a career in mental health and many hours, days and years of exploring my inner most being, before I knew that this field was for me. I have spent a lot of time exploring the behaviors, feelings and emotions of others, along with getting to know myself and learning to be in tune with my inner most self. I truly believe this has helped me become the best therapist I can be. I pride myself on continuing to grow and learn as a mental health professional, as we all know the world is constantly and rapidly changing and shifting directions. It is important to me as a therapist that I consistently check in with myself to be sure that I am providing the very best services to my clients/patients at all times.
I am truly here to serve my clients and I am one hundred percent committed to the well-being of each individual I serve. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and to become a part of your life journey.

Most of the time the hardest part of change is the decision to do something different. There are times when we need some help to bring focus, clarity, and peace to our lives. At Purple Heart Counseling, I utilize a mindfulness and introspective approach to help identify your thoughts and feelings. We can focus on your goals and strive towards you living a more optimal and healthy life.
I would like to be able to help you create a safe place and a safe space that you feel comfortable to work on the issues that are impacting you. I welcome you to begin your journey today to a healthier tomorrow.
I always knew that I wanted to be a helping professional. As part of an assignment, while taking a counseling course designed to assist offenders with substance abuse problems, I had to write in five words or less what I wanted people to remember about me. My words were “helped people live better lives.”
I have over 30 years of experience working with clients who live with psychiatric and substance use disorders. I started my "helping" career working for the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC). After observing the effects of early childhood trauma on many of the offenders that I supervised, I decided to end my 21-year career with GDC and pursue an education in counseling. I have never regretted this decision! For the last 6 years I have provided psychotherapy for individuals and groups.
I love doing what I believe I have been called to do and my life's work remains guided by those five simple words in my title. I look forward to helping you learn to live a better life!
In my private practice, I work with individuals and couples. Treatment is unique for each client and depends on your needs and goals. The philosophy that guides my practice is the unwavering belief that people have a limitless potential to heal and grow. It is my goal to help you recognize and realize your abilities. Positive change occurs through the collaborative therapeutic relationship between therapist and client.
Therapy is a unique process for each client. It begins with a comprehensive evaluation during which I learn about you, your situation, and your goals. You also get the chance to learn more about me and get a feel for how we will work together. During the course of therapy, we will continue to evaluate and make changes to your treatment to reflect completed goals and new challenges. Services offered: Biofeedback, Depression/Anxiety/Stress, Childhood Abuse and Trauma, Family and Relationship Issues, Grief and Loss, GLBTQ Concerns and Issues, Parenting, Divorce, and Eating Disorders.

From an early age, I felt a strong calling to help others and found deep fulfillment in making a positive difference in people’s lives. Raised in an immigrant family with limited resources, I joined the military as a way to pursue my education and create new opportunities for myself.
During my time in the military, I relocated frequently and had the privilege of connecting with individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and belief systems. These experiences shaped my understanding of how our differences enrich us, while also recognizing how they can create internal struggles, relational challenges, and emotional stress.
This perspective led me to pursue a career in social work. Today, I am committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care and supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change—one person at a time.
It is so hard to try to tell your life story to a stranger, but just know I'm here to help you find the strength you thought you lost but is just hiding deep in you. We will work together to help you achieve your goals.

Hello! I'm Julie Keck, a skilled Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida where I started my career in 2012. I create a welcoming, collaborative space for clients to feel seen, understood and not alone. I believe everyone has deep intrinsic worth and a story to tell. It is my joy to come alongside my clients as they discover their strengths and find their unique, fulfilled path in this world.
Hello, hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida where I graduated with my Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Florida. I have been working with clients since 2020 and enjoy providing a safe space for my clients to address their concerns while providing them with the tools they may need to empower them towards growth.
My professional life began in high-performance corporate environments, where I spent more than two decades working under sustained pressure and responsibility. During that time, I earned an MBA from George Washington University and completed postgraduate work at Emory University. Those years gave me a firsthand understanding of what it means to function at a high level while quietly carrying the personal cost that often comes with it.
My transition into clinical work was not a typical career change—it was a necessary shift toward meaning, balance, and long-term well-being. Over the past decade, I earned a second master’s degree and have provided psychotherapy in a psychiatric hospital, residential treatment programs, and private practice. My focus has been on helping people work through trauma, chronic stress, and identity concerns—especially when the lives they’ve built no longer feel sustainable or aligned.
A formative part of my training included several years of intensive clinical work with individuals involved in a Drug Court program. That experience reinforced the importance of safety, clarity, and respect in the therapeutic relationship, and the understanding that change happens when people feel genuinely seen and understood.
My approach is structured yet flexible, direct yet compassionate. I work best with people who want a steady, thoughtful space to slow down, make sense of their experience, and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.
