Hi, I’m Kim, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) with over 15 years of experience supporting adults through trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, substance use concerns, and difficult life transitions. I am trained in EMDR and have a particular interest in helping clients process painful experiences and move toward healing at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling safe, heard, respected, and free from judgment. Together, we can explore how past experiences, relationships, thoughts, emotions, and patterns of substance use or other coping behaviors may be affecting your life while developing healthier ways of coping and responding.
I integrate EMDR with evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My work emphasizes emotional regulation, self-awareness, healthy boundaries, communication, self-compassion, and practical coping skills. When addressing substance use, I provide a nonjudgmental space to explore triggers, motivation for change, underlying emotional needs, and healthier strategies for managing stress and difficult emotions.
I recognize that trauma, grief, mental health concerns, and substance use can be interconnected. Painful experiences may influence how we see ourselves, relate to others, and cope with distress. I approach this work with careful attention to emotional safety, preparation, stabilization, and readiness.
Therapy does not need to be rushed. I value building a genuine therapeutic relationship where you can feel comfortable exploring difficult experiences, recognizing your strengths, and making meaningful changes that feel realistic and sustainable. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you better understand what you are carrying, and support you in building greater confidence, resilience, healthier coping strategies, and trust in yourself as you move forward.

My name is Tim Johnston and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas. I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I worked years in a community mental health setting and now private practice. My specialties are anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, mens issues, and grief and loss. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a doctorate in social work, but those credentials only tell you part of who I am.
I’m direct, curious, compassionate, and neurodivergent. I have ADHD, which means I understand firsthand that the way someone’s brain works doesn’t always fit the expectations placed on them. I also know that understanding yourself and figuring out what actually works for you aren’t necessarily the same thing.
My approach to therapy is conversational, collaborative, and sometimes unconventional. I ask questions, appreciate humor, and believe there’s room for both compassion and accountability. I won’t shame you for struggling, but I also won’t pretend that meaningful change happens without effort.
I’ve worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and veterans, and I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches rather than expecting everyone to fit into one particular method.
I believe therapy works best when we can both be genuine. You don’t have to agree with everything I say, and I don’t expect you to have everything figured out when you walk through the door.

Hello,
I'm Jane originally born and raised in N.J. and living in Florida since 2017. I've been practicing mental health therapy for 40+ years in the field and in private practice. I enjoy working with clients and helping them through the therapy process and achieve their goals. Originally, I was planning on becoming an anthropologist and studying with Dr. Margaret Mead, however, my career plans changed when I realized that my own family had difficulties in communicating with each other. I wanted to study and help other families learn to talk to one another. From seeing families, this turned into seeing children-teens, couples, and adults. I find it very rewarding to help clients through a difficult time.

My name is Miguel Lopez, a Hispanic male (He/Him/His) and U.S. Army combat veteran who brings a unique perspective to my work as a therapist. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about guiding people through life’s challenges, I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University, a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice from Pikes Peak State College. With over a decade of experience as a caseworker, substance abuse counselor, and therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients facing real-life struggles and in need of daily support.
Life can be tough, and we all face difficult moments—whether it’s a breakup, divorce, grief, the loss of a loved one or pet, or even a job loss. In these times, having an unbiased person to offer support can make a world of difference. I see trauma as an unexpected part of life that is often hard to process, but with the right help, it can be managed and overcome healthily. I’ve personally experienced more than my share of trauma, grief, loss, sadness, depression, and substance use, and I sought help to work through them.
My approach to therapy is centered on helping people in the best way possible, always with an open mind. I often use Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as a guide, because I believe mental health is hard to prioritize when physical needs aren’t met, or issues like homelessness or substance abuse are present. I enjoy working with clients from age 5 to older adults who face Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, and other mental health or substance use challenges. It’s easy to fight battles alone and suffer in silence, but you don’t have to anymore—together, we can work toward healing and a better future.
As a licensed therapist in Florida and Texas, I specialize in supporting individuals through life's complex challenges. My approach centers on empowering clients to cultivate self-love, navigate communication barriers, and develop resilient coping strategies. With a deep understanding of mental health dynamics, I offer compassionate guidance for those experiencing depression, anxiety, social challenges, and life transitions.
My therapeutic practice focuses on addressing diverse concerns including mood disorders, women's issues, chronic health conditions, and personal growth. I create a supportive, affirming environment where clients can explore their experiences, heal from past traumas, and rediscover their inner strength.
Drawing from evidence-based practices, I work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized strategies that promote emotional wellness, enhance self-esteem, and support meaningful life transformations. My commitment is to walk alongside you with genuine empathy, respect, and professional expertise.
You may be going through big changes in life, fatherhood-motherhood, new marriage, professional challenges, or facing illness, getting older, losing people close to you, moving to a new place, starting over after divorce, or adjusting after a breakup or a change in your military life. These experiences can make anyone wonder who they are, how they relate to others, how they make decisions, and how they deal with grief, change, and conflict.
Life keeps giving me chances to adjust to changes in my body, feelings, thoughts, and spirit. Some days are easier than others, and that’s just part of being human. I see it as a way to keep getting stronger, more flexible, and better at handling life. When my emotions feel really strong, I may feel pulled in different directions. But reaching out, connecting with someone, and taking action usually helps me stay resilient and keep moving forward.
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood—a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without fear of judgment. I also believe that meaningful growth sometimes requires stepping outside of our comfort zones, challenging old patterns, and discovering strengths we may have forgotten we possess.
My approach to therapy is person-centered, compassionate, and collaborative, with just the right amount of gentle challenge. I strive to create a comfortable, authentic environment where we can explore life's difficulties while also recognizing opportunities for growth and change. I won't simply sit back and nod along, but I also won't push you before you're ready. I believe in meeting you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be.
One of my greatest professional passions is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I am drawn to EMDR because of its ability to help individuals process painful experiences, work through trauma, and begin to loosen the grip that past experiences can have on their present lives. I believe that our experiences shape us, but they do not have to define us. EMDR offers an opportunity to move beyond simply understanding what has happened to us and toward experiencing meaningful emotional healing.
I value humor when appropriate and honest conversations. Therapy can be hard work, but it doesn't always have to feel heavy.
**Above all, I want you to know that you don't have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy.** You just have to be willing to start. I'll meet you there, and we'll work together to find a path forward.
My goal is to help with the obstacles that are blocking my client’s from becoming the best version of themselves. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, intensively trained in EMDR and DBT therapies. I’ve been serving the community in outpatient and residential settings for over 18 years.
I have earned a bachelor’s degree, in psychology, from Northeastern University and hold a double master’s: Counseling Psychology, from Lesley University and in Clinical Psychology, from Columbia University.
