My name is Daniel OIaciregui M.S. , LMHC. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I have been working as a therapist since 2017. I have the pleasure of working with a wide variety of clients. I have been working with substance abuse, anxiety, depression, trauma, first responders, and Bipolar clients. I am versed in several modalities including Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Trauma, and EMDR trained. I utilize these approaches with my clients to help address and manage their needs. I believe it is essential to create a partnership with clients to maximize success. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida (MH23088) and hold credentials as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 1 and 2 (CCTP I/II), a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), and an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Trained Professional. I have attended a variety of therapeutic and counseling trainings in treating post-traumatic stress disorders and complex traumas, anxiety and depression, grief, obsessive thinking, attachment disorders, somatic work, inner child healing, shadow work, resiliency, teletherapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and in 2019 with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been practicing and seeing clients ever since. I have over ten years of experience working in the mental health field. While working on my education, I began gaining experience in the field in 2014, working with toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults in crisis units, youth shelters, abuse and trauma treatment centers, and the school system before beginning my private practice in 2021. I currently specialize in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and grief with adolescents and adults.

I am a Seminary trained clinical therapist, a combat veteran, and have experience serving in ministry abroad. I have a prior career before becoming a therapist, and have worked about 13 years overseas. I have worked successfully with people from many backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and religious faiths. I have clinical experience working with clients struggling with a wide variety of mental health conditions and stressors including but not limited to trauma, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

I received my Bachelor's degree from Tulane University, a Master's degree in Social Work from Barry University, and have been practicing in a variety of settings for over 30 years.
