Our life path is full of ups and downs with unexpected twists and turns. We learn to develop a way of coping whether it is a positive or negative method to help deal with stressors or adapt to change. However, the majority of the time, we fall back on what we are accustomed to when dealing with a stressful situation or unexpected change; such as becoming confused, frustrated, emotional, withdrawing, angry, combative, or ignoring the situation and hoping the situation will just magically disappear or be resolved. Sometimes we need assistance to develop positive coping skills to deal with an unexpected changes or stressful situations. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am a Licensed Professional Therapist, based in Florida. I was born in the Island of Jamaica but attended College in the USA, where I gained my Bachelors in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and my Masters from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I began my Professional work in 2019 and worked tirelessly with older teenagers, adults and seniors. However, I also did many hours of internship at a Counseling center and also at a Mental Health Facility, where I gained invaluable experiences.
