Clients find that I genuinely like people from all walks of life, I am non-judgmental, and I am an excellent listener. Research supports, and I believe, that a strong client-counselor relationship is the most important part of the counseling experience and creating that bond is my goal. I look forward to meeting you, getting to know you, and working with you to achieve your personal goals. Mary Beth

I strive to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood, so you can begin to feel relief knowing your healing journey is underway. I want you to feel proud of yourself for taking the step to prioritize your mental health; it truly matters. My style is warm, patient, encouraging, and direct in a way that supports growth without feeling harsh or overwhelming. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida with a Master of Social Work (MSW), and I work with teens, young adults, couples, families, and individuals across the lifespan. My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and evidence-based strategies for anxiety and emotional well-being. In our work together, I focus on helping you better understand yourself, process what you’re going or have gone through, and build practical tools to manage anxiety, trauma, depression, and life’s daily challenges. I believe in supporting healing from a trauma-informed lens while also empowering you to recognize your own strengths and growth along the way. If you’re feeling nervous about starting therapy, I often remind clients: Life will always bring challenges, and we all need support in navigating them. Seeking help is not something to be ashamed or afraid of; it’s a meaningful sign of strength and growth. Plus, there is a world of possibilities on the other side of your fear. Outside of sessions, you’ll usually find me laughing or trying new foods; ideally both at the same time, but I’m not picky.

Reaching out for help takes courage, and you do not have to face life’s challenges alone. I support adults and older adults experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, panic attacks, burnout, chronic stress, grief, chronic pain, and difficult life transitions. I also work with individuals navigating divorce, relationship and marital concerns, family conflict, women’s and men’s issues, caregiving responsibilities, retirement, and adjustments related to medical conditions or changes in health. Many clients seek therapy when they feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward. I provide support in exploring the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be impacting your relationships, work, and overall quality of life. Many of the individuals and couples I work with are at a crossroads—frustrated, sometimes burnt out, and seeking practical, workable strategies for change. Therapy offers a dedicated, supportive space to identify obstacles and map a path toward meaningful personal growth. With over 15 years of experience across healthcare, restorative justice, and outpatient settings, I provide telehealth therapy at Grow for adults and couples. My practice focuses on: *Chronic Pain & Complex Medical Issues *Anxiety & Phobias *Fertility & Family Building Support *LGBTQ+ & Gender-Affirming Care *Eating Disorder/Substance Use Step-Down Maintenance: Supporting ongoing recovery from substance use or eating disorders following higher levels of care. *Couples Therapy: Improving communication and relational dynamics (clinical outpatient focus only). Practice Boundaries & Administrative Policies To maintain a clear focus on clinical care, please review the following scope boundaries: *Legal & Forensic Services: I do not provide forensic evaluations, court-ordered treatment, litigation support, or expert witness testimony for legal proceedings, divorce, or custody disputes. *Disability & Administrative Paperwork: I do not perform disability evaluations or complete short/long-term disability claims; I do not write Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters. *Telehealth & Medical Requirements: Virtual therapy for chronic pain, ARFID, or medical distress serves strictly as a complementary psychological service. Because virtual care lacks physical monitoring: A. Clients with ARFID or eating disorders must maintain ongoing care with an in-person physician for routine medical safety. B. Clients seeking pain reprocessing or somatic therapy must have their pain evaluated by a physician. ******If medical or psychiatric needs exceed virtual outpatient scope, I will assist with referrals to local in-person providers**************

Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received my Masters from the Lynn University and have been practicing for 10 years. I help adults 35 and over struggling with life stress and family dysfunction. I believe these underlying issues compose our personalities and affect how we interact with others and cause an impact on present relationships, jobs and self-esteem. The symptoms of these historical issues are anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and an ability to feel good about oneself.

I have experience working with mental health diagnosis and treatment In both outpatient and inpatient settings, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, grief and loss and trauma disorder such as PTSD. A good therapist will not shame or blame you; will not try to become your parent or your buddy. They will cheer you on your journey and at times, help you see yourself in a new and different way. They will not do the work for you. They will help you keep accountable to yourself and the goals you create together in the work. They will encourage clear communication, authenticity, patience and compassion both for yourself and others. Accountability is a necessary part of any therapeutic relationship. I require at least 24 hours' notice prior to cancelling your scheduled appointment. Same day cancellations or no shows are subject to a Grow therapy fee of $50. Similarly, if I have to cancel within 24 hours' notice your next session will be free. The therapy process is engaged, dynamic and can be immensely satisfying. I look forward to your journey and wish you courage, compassion and power!

As the wife of a physician and someone who has worked closely with RNs, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, I understand firsthand how emotional exhaustion and constant pressure can take a toll. I’m especially passionate about helping healthcare providers heal from compassion fatigue. I am a laid-back therapist, so it’s not unusual for me to wear jeans or sandals at the office. I have lived experience with mental health personally.

I believe that one of the most important parts of therapy is the relationship you have with your therapist. Feeling safe, understood, and supported makes real healing possible. I work with young adults healing from childhood trauma and PTSD, and with individuals navigating major life changes related to medical conditions or aging. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence based practices to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, and regain a sense of control. Therapy isn’t about “just getting over it.” It’s about making sense of your experiences and learning how to move forward in a way that feels right for you. If you’re ready to start, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

I believe in the power of connection and provide a warm, comfortable environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions freely. That said, I also know that growth often requires us to face hard truths and step outside our comfort zones. Together, we’ll work through difficult topics and push past barriers, with compassion and the insight needed to build healthier patterns and more meaningful relationships.

From an early age, I felt a strong calling to help others and found deep fulfillment in making a positive difference in people’s lives. Raised in an immigrant family with limited resources, I joined the military as a way to pursue my education and create new opportunities for myself. During my time in the military, I relocated frequently and had the privilege of connecting with individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and belief systems. These experiences shaped my understanding of how our differences enrich us, while also recognizing how they can create internal struggles, relational challenges, and emotional stress. This perspective led me to pursue a career in social work. Today, I am committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care and supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change—one person at a time. It is so hard to try to tell your life story to a stranger, but just know I'm here to help you find the strength you thought you lost but is just hiding deep in you. We will work together to help you achieve your goals. Spanish: Es my dificil contarle su historia a un estrano, pero yo estoy aqui para ayudarle a encontrar su fuerza interior para mejorar.
