Hello,
I am very happy to meet you here. My name is Cassandra Sams, but please call me Sandy. I have been working as a counselor for over 20 years. Most of my experience has been in private practice but I also spent some time in agencies working with children and adolescents. I believe the agency work gave me wonderful opportunities to work with families and to help them navigate very challenging issues like mood disorders and anxiety. I feel very privileged to have been allowed to help parents find new behaviors to help them navigate the world of parenting. I also have been able to help children and adolescents understand their parents' perspectives. Likewise, I really enjoy working with individuals who are dealing with various life transitions such as leaving school to go to college or into the workforce, leaving college and building a career, getting married and having children, or struggling with the mid-life crisis and coping with career changes or life changes such as divorce or deaths of family members. I do not consider myself to be the expert of your life. You are the expert and I am the witness. I feel honored and privileged to be invited into your life experiences and to be a witness to your life's journey. I believe that your story is sacred and I thank you for allowing me to be a part of it. I use cognitive behavioral strategies blended with existential therapy to assist you in discovering what your story is. My hope is that you will learn to love your stories as much as I do.

I work with adults navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and identity-related challenges, with a strong focus on helping individuals build insight, emotional regulation, resilience, and a greater sense of purpose. Greetings! My name's Bertrona Freeman and I am a compassionate and practical therapist who supports adults navigating substance use concerns, anger, grief, trauma, emotional regulation, relationships stress, and major life transitions. My approach is grounded in helping clients feel heard, understood, and empowered while also encouraging accountability, self-awareness, and meaningful change. I enjoy working with individuals who are ready to better understand their patterns, strengthen coping skills, improve decision-making, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I have experience engaging clients individually and in group settings, using psychoeducation, skill-building, and relatable discussions to help clients connect what they learn in therapy to real-life situations. I believe therapy should be both supportive and useful, offering clients a safe space to process painful experiences while also developing tools they can apply outside of session. Whether a client is working through grief, managing triggers, addressing aggressive behaviors, rebuilding after substance use, or learning to become more emotionally present in relationships, I strive to meet them with empathy, honesty, and respect. My goal is to help clients gain insight, increase emotional awareness, and create lasting changes that support healing, stability, and personal growth.
Life is a journey and how we navigate the roadblocks and pitfalls determines how we are able to emotionally function in a healthy and productive manner.

Hi, my name is Cathrine. I am a licensed therapist in FL with over 20 years experience in the field. I hold a Masters degree in Counseling and Psychology and a Masters degree in Social Work. I help young adults, adults, and seniors, struggling with family, stress, marital problems, career burnout, anxiety, depression, and many others. I am a Individual and family Therapist licensed in the state of Florida with over 10 years experience working as a mental health Case Manger and Therapist. I have served client that struggled with past trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, withdrawn behaviors, failed relationship of all types, parenting issues, suicidal thoughts and a range of mood disorders.
My therapist style is helping others find themselves and grow mentally. Its my goal to grow individuals from the inside out, by allowing them learn and build the proper skills to understand their mental health while growing through healthy parts of themselves. My approach is motivated by the solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral, and rational- emotive therapy. My ability to transform the minds of others while helping them understand their mental health has been my biggest success as a therapist.
I didn’t become a therapist because I believed life should be perfect—I became a therapist because I know how complex, messy, and deeply human life can be.
Over the years, I’ve sat with many people navigating anxiety, overwhelming life transitions, relationship struggles, and the quiet pressure to “hold it all together.” My goal in therapy is to create a space where you don’t have to do that alone. A space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment—and begin to make sense of what you’re carrying.
My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that healing happens when people feel truly seen and understood. I often work with adults who feel stretched between responsibilities, expectations, and their own emotional needs. I also have a special place in my heart for supporting women and mothers as they move through pregnancy, postpartum changes, and the many emotional layers of parenthood.
In our work together, I integrate evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, while also focusing on practical tools that help regulate the nervous system and create meaningful change in everyday life. Therapy with me is collaborative—we work together to understand patterns, process difficult experiences, and help you move toward the life you want to build.
I founded my practice with the intention of creating a space that feels warm, supportive, and human. A place where both clients and clinicians can feel safe to grow, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.
Outside of my work, I value time with my family, creativity, and designing environments that feel calm, comforting, and restorative—because I believe the spaces we create, both internally and externally, play an important role in healing.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with nearly a decade of clinical experience, I work primarily with women navigating identity, meaning, and the weight of roles they didn't fully choose: partner, parent, employee, caretaker. My approach draws on existential therapy, which asks not "what's wrong with you" but "what kind of life do you want to be responsible for building," alongside a feminist lens that names how gender, power, and social expectation shape the problems we bring into the room. Together, these frameworks help clients move from managing symptoms to reclaiming authorship over their own lives.
