Hi there! I am a biracial woman who was raised by my immigrant mother and military veteran father. Counseling has been a calling for me from a young age, which my own life experiences strengthened. I am a married and have one daughter. My practice is guided not only by my professional ethics, but my own personal moral guide. My morals align with equity and equality for all, dignity and respect of all, cultural humility, love is love, and prioritizing human rights - to name a few. My undergraduate degree is a double major in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Studies, and my master's degree is in Clinical Social Work. I have spent my career serving underserved populations across all levels of care (crisis unit, residential care, intensive outpatient care, outpatient care). My experience is primarily with behavioral and emotional disorders, trauma and substance use disorder. Most recently I spent 3 years working for the VA with veterans, service members and their families. Prior to this I worked in the community treating substance use disorder in adults, and behavioral and emotional disorders in children and adolescents. I specialize in treating anxiety and panic disorders, and their co-occurring disorders.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is all about getting to know each other, building rapport, and finding out how I am best able to help you. We will do so through completing a thorough intake assessment and discussing goals. No matter where you are today, change is possible. My hope is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can build resilience, gain confidence, and create a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and true to who you are.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, holistic, and empowering. I believe therapy should be a collaborative space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported as you move toward healing and meaningful change. Together, we'll develop a deeper understanding of the challenges you're facing and create a path forward. I show up authentically, warmly, and with an open mind. If you're ready to begin your healing journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You may look like you have it all together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted on the inside. Perhaps you're highly sensitive, constantly overthinking, struggling with panic attacks, carrying the weight of past trauma, or finding it difficult to enjoy your life the way you want to. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone—and you don't have to navigate it by yourself. I specialize in working with high-functioning, highly sensitive adults and children experiencing anxiety, panic disorder, depression, and the lasting effects of trauma.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

I use a combination of therapeutic modalities, individually formed to best meet each clients specific needs. The common thread through my work is remaining focused on clients strengths, and how they can help us to achieve your goals.

Prolonged Exposure Therapy

I am formally trained in Prolonged Exposure for treating trauma. While trauma work may not be our primary goal, being trauma informed guides our work together and provides deeper understanding of challenges.
