Hi, I’m Jaki Neering, LCSW. I’m a trauma-informed therapist who’s passionate about creating safe, affirming spaces where you can feel seen and supported. My approach is holistic and somatic, helping folks reconnect with their minds, emotions, and inner wisdom.
Since 2017, I’ve worked closely with the LGBTQ+ community, offering care that’s affirming and grounded in compassion. I honor all the ways we learn to survive and gently support people in letting go of what no longer serves them.
I believe healing is possible, and it starts with feeling truly met. You deserve that space.
Please note: I specialize in children and adolescents and only work with this population. If you are an adult seeking services for yourself, please do not book.
With over 16 years of experience practicing therapy with children and adolescents in a variety of settings I have extensive knowledge helping children and families overcome mental health challenges. I believe in making therapy fun and engaging for your child. If they are struggling with difficulties at home or school, I can teach them coping skills so they can help themselves feel better. I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, anger, depression, OCD, PTSD, stress management, and parenting.
I believe parents are the key to change. There is no rule book for raising kids or teens, but I help parents navigate behavioral challenges and will work with you to rebuild your relationship with your child. I create a warm and welcoming environment where children, teens, and parents feel empowered and supported. Life is stressful and we all need help from time to time.

I am a LCSW, who has worked in an array of settings in my career. I believe the session is the clients and i will work to my best ability to help the client in whatever areas he/she is struggling in to work towards a the life they want. I have worked with couples/children/families/death/trauma. I believe all people have a voice and story and each is special and unique.
Hi, I'm Jackie.
One question stays with me before every session:
If I were sitting where my client is sitting, what would help me feel safe enough to come back?
That question shapes how I show up as a therapist.
Therapy changed my life because it gave me something I didn't know I was missing, a place where I didn't have to perform, explain, or earn my worth. That's the kind of space I hope to create for every person I work with.
I don't believe people are broken.
I believe people adapt.
One quote has stayed with me for years because it captures that idea better than I ever could:
"I lived in a glass house into which my mother could look at any time. In a glass house, however, you cannot conceal anything without giving yourself away, except by hiding it under the ground. And then you cannot see it yourself, either."
I think many of us grow up in our own version of a glass house. Maybe you became the responsible one, the peacemaker, the perfectionist, or the person who learned to stay quiet. Those weren't flaws, they were ways of surviving.
The challenge is that what helped us survive then doesn't always help us live now.
That's where therapy begins.
Together, we'll become curious about the patterns you've been living, not because I want to fix you, but because I want you to understand yourself.
My approach integrates attachment theory, parts work, CBT, DBT, and nervous system regulation because healing isn't about treating isolated symptoms. It's about making sense of your story so you can trust yourself, build healthier relationships, and create a life that feels more like your own.
Are you seeking a compassionate and supportive space for your mental health journey? Look no further. Whether you're a child, teen, or adult, we're here to support you every step of the way. From anxiety and depression to trauma, mood swings, relationship struggles, low self-esteem, or stress, we help you navigate life's challenges and step into your best self. Empowerment starts here.
I believe therapy is most effective when it feels both supportive and collaborative. My goal is to provide a safe space where clients can process trauma, explore challenges, and build the skills they need to live more fully. I offer psychotherapy, therapeutic assessments, and specialized interventions designed to meet each client’s unique needs. Whether you are navigating life transitions, managing mental health concerns, or seeking greater clarity in your relationships, I aim to help you feel understood and empowered. As I often remind clients, our connection to the world is shaped by the people we engage with. Together, we can build on your existing strengths and experiences to create meaningful change and improve your quality
of life.
As an athlete, a family man, and a man of faith, I understand the challenges with adjusting to change associated with leaving a sport or career, you love, before you believe your time is up. I understand what it feels like to develop a bond and the challenges with sustaining such bonds. I also understand seeking growth spiritually when there’s so much temptation and triggers that seem to pull me away for my goals. With that, these experiences are what hopefully keep me humble, motivated, and grateful.
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York and Florida. I have 30 years experience in the helping profession and 7 years as a therapist. I believe that insight without action leads to stagnation and frustration. It is valuable to talk about problems and issues but without a plan of action, clients often become discouraged. Much of my work will involve helping you identify a next right step in addressing challenges.
Call me Ben! I've been in private practice for 5 years and the mental health field at-large for close to a decade. I'm a big advocate for mindfulness (and ACT) and how it can be used alongside and incorporated into the therapeutic relationship to make tremendous strides in addressing one's mental health. I live in Asheville, North Carolina with my wife and our two cats. I love to go hiking and kayaking, I own a record store where I also work, and love a good gaming session with my friends.
Have you been able to follow through on your personal goals and aspirations? Maybe what is needed is a deep dive into why you keep choosing the same old same old. Maybe it’s time to finally choose peace instead of survival.
Unresolved trauma need not interrupt your life and your personal relationships. I specialize in working with first responders and veterans. I use a multi-model approach to fit each client's style and needs. I specialize in Client Centered, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.
The mind's only job is to protect the body, our fear inducing thoughts that keep us in a constant state of alarm serve a purpose. Together we will question the mind's beliefs and start to sort the beliefs that serve us in the goals that we have established.
Hi! My name is Moriah E. McCarthy. I am a licensed mental health counselor that believes in a holistic and blended approach with respect for the mind-body-spirit connection. Mental health is a pivotal component of all wellness. Treatment with me blends the exploration of the past and the deepening of insight with more concrete interventions and a forward-focused momentum. I use psycho-education and skills-building to empower clients to support themselves after counseling. Strengths and weaknesses are brought forward to integrate thoughts, feelings and actions into the whole self. I believe in collaborating with clients throughout the process. Clients feel supported and also challenged to take responsibility for their own success. When you work with me, I hope that we partner in your treatment. I value your feedback, appreciate you opening to possibilities, and taking action for greater stability. My approach is best described as client-centered and creative.
Greetings, I'm Sonya
There are times when we all experience a loss of our sense of self. You may feel like you’re on a journey but aren’t quite sure which turn to take next. Maybe you’re feeling anxious, confused, sad, angry—or simply “blah.” You may have great friends, watch self-help TikToks, and try to figure things out on your own, yet still find yourself not feeling okay or unsure of where to turn.
I bring a calm, accepting, and relatable presence to therapy, which allows me to build meaningful connections with my clients. I provide a judgment-free environment centered on calmness, peace, and support, where you can feel comfortable being yourself, expressing your thoughts and emotions, and knowing that you are heard.
Together, we will explore and process the experiences, thoughts, and situations that may be impacting your emotional well-being and daily life. My goal is to empower you to develop practical strategies, strengthen your coping skills, and gain greater confidence in navigating life’s challenges.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Sometimes, you simply need a safe place to start. I look forward to walking alongside you as you work toward greater clarity, balance, and a more peaceful resolution.

Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is to meet you where you are and create a space that feels supportive, steady, and real.
In our work together, I bring curiosity, reflection, and a bit of humor into the room. Hello! I am a licensed psychologist and licensed marriage and family therapist, with addiitonal post graduate training in marriage and family therapy. I have tremendous respect for individuals who are open to addressing their difficult experiences. To do so, requires courage, and I will partner with you on this journey. Painful life experiences leave an unfinished learning, and the purpose of therapy is to complete this learning. In individual therapy, I help client’s to say, “No,” without feeling guilty, and to move away from repetitive overthinking. We will address your “inner critic” to help you to be present in relating to others. Individual therapy can address your motivation and vitality, helping you to manage stress, rather than stress managing you. With couples therapy, I help couples stop having the same argument over and over. After infidelity, couples may find the path back to “us.” Partners with parenting differences can learn to collaborate for their kids. I also provide Parent-Child Interaction Therapy for parents of young children, who have temper tantrums, defiance behavior, and/or attention difficulties. Although, I provide therapy for coping with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I do not provide psychological assessment at this time.

I have worked with clients who have had different concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. I have worked with different age groups ranging from young children to the elderly. I have worked with children and families that are involved with the department of children and families, adult males in an inpatient substance abuse facility, and youth who are at risk and adjudicated youth through residential treatment. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating people with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client centered, solution-focus and narrative. I believe that in order to have healthy relationships with others we must first have a healthy relationship with ourself.
