I love the potential benefits therapy can yield. Therapy is about discovery and healing. I have a decade of experience working with counseling services. I am a first generation American, the daughter of Jamaican immigrants and love helping Caribbean persons navigate their therapeutic goals as historically within this community receiving mental health services is stigmatized. I also love working with adult women and men who are looking to find healing from past trauma. I am here for your therapeutic journey towards healing.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is about information gathering. Allowing me to learn a little about your journey, and what brings you to therapy. We create a treatment plan together to work on what brings you to therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths are my compassion and drive. I work from the trauma informed lens. I am a proud licensed clinical social worker. Social workers apply theories of counseling, sociology, and psychology.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Clients that are ready for change, are my ideal clients

Attachment-based

Attachment is at the core of every relationship and understanding your attachment style helps better understand those interactions

Psychoeducation

Strength-Based

Strengths are what I use to guide the therapy treatment plan.

Trauma Informed Care

I’ve worked for years with survivors of trauma and practice through that lens
