Because sleep quality is critical to physical and mental health I am passionate about helping people get good sleep. I received my PhD from Duke University and have been a practicing psychologist for many years. I work primarily with behavioral sleep medicine because sleep problems are so widespread and there are not enough specialists to meet the need. I continue working with people with anxiety, depression, and couples issues. The methods I use are evidence-based and trauma-informed. I am also an ordained member of the clergy (rabbi) and consider one's spirituality an important part of treatment for many, though not all people. I’ve practiced telehealth exclusively since early 2020. Most people like working this way because of convenience. Therapy is not adversely affected and I am even able to do hypnosis via telehealth.

Hi there, I'm Alex. I believe the most important way I can show up for my clients is with a nonjudgemental perspective. I strive to create a space where it is easy to come forth with anything and all things that you may have been struggling with. I work from a systems perspective, understanding that it is not only our own thoughts, feelings, ideas, and beliefs that impact us, but also those of our environment and even the people around us. I have been in the mental health field for the past 15 years and have been a therapist for the past seven years. I am a DBT informed therapist as well as WPATH trained. I work mostly with teenagers and young adults typically struggling with anxiety, depression, and/or trauma. I work with self harm and suicidal ideation.

Hey, I'm Matt. Life may not offer a lot of certainty, but one thing is for sure: everyone struggles sometimes. You might feel like you struggle MOST of the time. I’d like to counter that notion with the belief that embracing those struggles can be the key to overcoming them. To be clear, embracing our struggles doesn’t mean they simply disappear, but I believe we can learn to acknowledge and manage them in a way that will allow us to feel more empowered and prepared to face them. When we live with anxiety and depression, it makes sense that we would want a permanent fix, but I believe that expectation too often leads to feelings of hopelessness simply because that’s not how anxiety and depression work. What if, instead of waiting for them to magically disappear, we learned to acknowledge those feelings and used our own unique experiences with them to get ourselves through the struggles? If you are struggling, I’d like to offer a safe space for you to talk it out and hopefully come away with a different perspective on your ability to manage your anxiety and/or depression. I might point out a turn here and there, but you’ll do the driving!

Through managing teams and projects, she not only developed a knack for efficient problem-solving but also cultivated a deep understanding of the dynamics of human behavior within structured environments. This multifaceted understanding of people and systems laid the groundwork for her transition into the field of clinical social work in 2014. In the sphere of leadership, Adriana Davidson emerged as a trailblazer, advocating for mental health awareness and social justice. She melded her extensive background in hospitality and leadership with her passion for helping others, crafting innovative and inclusive approaches to therapy and counseling. Her unique perspective, informed by her diverse experiences, allows her to connect with clients from all walks of life, fostering a safe space where healing and growth can flourish. Today, Adriana Davidson continues her journey as an LCSW, weaving together her expertise in hospitality, financial management, and leadership to create transformative experiences for individuals seeking solace and support. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida, I enjoy working with my clients while building their self-esteem and helping them in navigating life transitions. Some of these life transitions my clients may find themselves navigating is life after high school, life during and after college, deciding on a career, or even working through relationships with others and themselves. In addition, I enjoy working with my clients to learn how to cope and manage stress and anxiety. Through my years as a marriage and family therapist, I have learned and utilized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tools and implement them when working with my clients to cope with and manage anxiety.

Hi! I am a heterosexual cisgender woman, and my husband and I have a 15 year old son. I'm originally from St. Louis, Missouri but I have lived in Florida for 34 years and it's my home. I hate snow. I think of myself as a girl-next-door therapist. New clients often tell me I'm easy to talk to. I like to use humor whenever possible. My approach is gentle and humble. I'll never go beyond your comfort level of discussion. My office is where you can spew your thoughts, cry, talk about yourself and even the thoughts you have that would be offensive to others. I have had clients say things about their life that would not be acceptable in most settings, and being able to talk about it is often very freeing. I became a master's level social worker at 32, and my life experience prior to that enabled my ability to understand different types of people and what motivates them. I've been in this field for 16 years and I have worked in foster care, hospice and other medical settings and outpatient mental health settings.
