Hi, I am Dr. Rolanda Harris. I hold a Doctorate in Social Work and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Alabama and Florida, as well as a Qualified Supervisor in Florida. I am a Certified Grief-Informed Professional. I have 24 years of experience supporting and empowering individuals to navigate and cope with life's challenges. I am an intentional counselor who proactively plans my interactions and interventions based on a clear understanding of your situation and desired outcomes. I aim to understand your needs, strengths, and values to create a personalized plan that aligns with your goals and fosters positive change. As an intentional counselor, I have had the privilege of working with chronically and terminally ill patients and their families, supporting them as they manage the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual impact of their illness. I have experience working with college students needing support adjusting to college life, building confidence, navigating social situations, and managing stress and anxiety. I have spent years walking with bereaved individuals as they process intense emotions, attempt to understand the grieving process, and find meaning after loss. It has been an honor to support elderly individuals managing grief, the fear of mortality and aging, adapting to retirement, addressing social isolation, and experiencing a range of mental health challenges. I have also had the pleasure of supporting single mothers as they navigate the emotional impact of motherhood, mental health issues, financial stress, and building a support system. In my practice, I do not rely solely on one specific theory but rather draw upon different theoretical perspectives. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapies, Reminiscence Therapy, and Grief Therapy.

I am a licensed mental health counselor providing therapy to adolescents, adults, and families in a supportive and collaborative environment. My practice is grounded in a person-centered approach, emphasizing empathy, unconditional positive regard, and a strong therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and accepted without judgment. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, build on their strengths, and develop practical strategies for change. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns. In sessions, I support clients in exploring their thoughts and emotions, gaining insight into patterns that may be contributing to distress, and identifying realistic and meaningful goals. Using CBT, we focus on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while also practicing coping skills, cognitive reframing, and emotional regulation strategies. Through a Solution-Focused lens, I help clients recognize their existing strengths, resilience, and past successes to guide goal setting and create forward movement. This approach encourages clients to envision their preferred future and take small, achievable steps toward positive change. By combining these approaches, I tailor treatment to meet each client’s unique needs and experiences. I believe therapy should be a place where you can bring your full self—your worries, questions, difficult experiences, and hopes for the future—without fear of judgment. My role is to offer a compassionate, collaborative space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin making sense of what has been weighing on you. You do not have to have the right words or know exactly where to begin. We can start with what feels most important to you. My approach focuses on helping clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and past experiences. Together, we identify patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, feeling stuck, shame, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty trusting yourself. From there, we build practical, personalized tools that support emotional regulation, self-awareness, healthy boundaries, and meaningful change. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, trauma-related concerns, grief, relationship difficulties, emotional dysregulation, shame, and identity-related concerns. I understand that these experiences can feel isolating or exhausting. Therapy can offer space to explore them with honesty and care while developing skills that feel useful beyond the therapy room. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. Depending on your needs and goals, our work may include noticing and challenging unhelpful thoughts, building distress-tolerance skills, practicing mindfulness, strengthening communication, or developing new ways to respond to difficult emotions. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more grounded, capable, and connected to yourself. I will meet you with curiosity, respect, and compassion as we work toward a life that feels safer, more manageable, and more aligned with your values. Whether you are beginning therapy or returning after a break, we will move at a pace that feels supportive, respectful, sustainable, and right for you each day.

Hi, my name is Luz, my pronouns are she/her/hers, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I worked as a teacher for over 15 years before making the journey into a community mental health career. I have experience in mobile crisis response, trauma, forensic mental health concerns. To explain who I am as a therapist, I reflect back to my role as an educator. In the classroom, there was a movement for the teacher to be less of a “sage on the stage” (teacher-centered approach) and more of a “guide on the side” (student-centered). To me, therapy is a lesson plan for a learning experience. It's a guide to develop what the client needs to learn in order to cope with whatever barriers are showing up in the client's life, whether that barrier is an internal issue, such as self-image, or how to cope with work stress. My therapeutic perspective is to provide empathetic, non-judgmental, compassionate guidance and support in an atmosphere of respect and safety while allowing clients to be the experts of their lives, much like “a co-pilot, a sous chef, or an assistant manager” of a client-therapist relationship. I use solution-focused elements to help move toward desired goals, cognitive behavioral techniques to challenge unhelpful thoughts, and motivational interviewing to help gain understanding and clarity. Outside of traditional therapy, I enjoy the practices of mindfulness, guided meditation, aromatherapy, and Reiki. Finding a therapist that's the right fit can be a challenging task, but taking that first step towards a healthier you is worth it. I look forward to working with you to help break down those barriers and make progress in areas that most matter to you.

My therapeutic approach will continuously maintain a client-centered approach with subtle confrontational crossroads. This means that during the process we will have to monitor and check for willingness and accountability, due to its importance in the changing process. I believe that the client-counselor relationship works best with mutual respect, clarity, and compassion. Treatment with me will be tailored to meet your unique and specific needs. My existence with you in the therapeutic space is to allow you the space to grow, experience nurturing, and reevaluate your understood identities. In life, taking the first step can be scary and uncomfortable. Let me remind you that seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and if you have made it this far...I do believe that you have what it takes to get there. I am here to support you in the process, watch you grow, and stare amazed at the new awakened being that you will become. Be blessed and release the stress!

You may feel desperate, alone, and misunderstood. You feel like you are floating in the bottom of a lake and cannot see the light above you. Everyday, you feel like you are just going through the motions. If this describes you, then I may be the therapist for you. In my nearly twenty years of experience, I have helped people like you reach their potential and achieve the recovery that they needed. There is no set system or quick fix as others may promise, but I will walk down the road with you. My primary focus is on helping you deal with ambiguity. Often our thoughts and subsequently what we teach ourselves becomes rigid and fairly black and white. Using a pragmatic and authentic approach to therapy I try and help you be okay with things that are beyond your control and work with you to establish yourself as the protagonist in your own story. This is primarily accomplished through conversation and allowing you the client to guide the therapy in the direction it needs to go.

Hi, my name is Vijaya Siddalingappa also known as VJ. I am a licensed clinical psychologist PhD, and currently practice in Florida. I have been in the mental health field for 25 years. I speak 2 additional languages( Hindi and Kannada) and I am currently offering telehealth appointments. I am very happy to be a part of the Grow community! I have a holistic approach with a non judgmental stance as I believe each individual is unique. So I tailor interventions to client's needs and not use "one size fits all" approach. I have an unconditional approach and appreciate diversity in each person accentuating their strengths. I use passive approach (providing space for venting their feelings) and an active approach by teaching cognitive behavioral skills which clients can easily learn and use these skills when needed. I like to cook, exercise, watch football and volunteer at community events for the less fortunate. I maintain a healthy balance with work, recreation and self- care. I work hard and play hard! My experience includes working with adults, geriatrics, children and women in outpatient and inpatient settings. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (CBT); Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT); Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT); and Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT). I am also passionate about individual differences and multicultural studies. My expertise is working with addictions (dual diagnosis), trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar, Obsessive compulsive disorders, schizophrenia, domestic violence and sexual abuse, stress management, loss and grief, and adjustment disorders. We never arrive! I learn something new and grow every day. Look forward to working with you!

My approach to therapy is person-centered, thoughtful, and exploratory. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. I tailor my work to each individual, recognizing that everyone’s experiences and needs are different. I take a holistic view of mental health. This means we will look not only at your thoughts and emotions, but also at your environment, relationships, and daily routines. I believe these areas all play an important role in how we feel and function. I also have experience supporting clients who are exploring medication as part of their care. I can help you prepare for conversations with psychiatrists and think through what options might feel right for you. At the same time, I often focus on building skills and making meaningful life changes as a foundation for long-term well-being. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported as we work together toward meaningful change.
