I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in substance abuse. For the past three years, I have helped adult individuals heal from mental health and substance abuse issues, utilizing a multifaceted approach to have therapy meet your individual needs. I have training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Addictions Counseling, and trauma. I have experience in depression, anxiety, addictions, relationship conflicts, trauma, and abuse. I see therapy as a collaborative process to guide you to greater self-awareness, trust, and sense of meaning. My approach focuses on self-love, learning how to heal through traumatic and difficult experiences to find strength and resilience. I use an interpersonal, non-judgmental approach to provide you with the foundation to create a stable and sustainable life. My goal is to help empower you to manage difficult emotions, find purpose and passion, in order for you to live a life aligned with your personal goals. If you are feeling stuck in your relationship, in your interpersonal life, let’s work together to help you heal and find the answers you are searching for.
Hi, I’m Aaron. I specialize in helping adults ages 18–64 who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or anxious about the future. On the outside, you might appear successful and high-functioning, but internally, you may be dealing with burnout, racing thoughts, grief, or a lack of meaning. Whether you are navigating life transitions, relationship stress, or existential worry, I help you turn internal insight into real-world progress.
With over a decade of experience supporting individuals from under-resourced communities to corporate executives, I bring a balance of deep empathy, structured support, and gentle accountability. Rather than just talking through problems, we work collaboratively to build practical, multi-modal toolkits you can use outside of sessions to manage anxiety, build resilience, and regain a sense of direction and joy.
Hello, I am Tom. I understand that our lives are profoundly shaped by significant people and experiences that influence the way we connect with others, how we think, and how we perceive the world around us. Some of these experiences are joyful and uplifting, while others may bring pain. It is natural for both types of experiences to leave a lasting mark on our identity, self-esteem, and sense of purpose. My goal is to walk alongside you as you explore the meaning behind these relationships and experiences. I offer a compassionate and supportive space where we can meet you right where you are, nurturing a genuine therapeutic relationship.
I work with individuals, couples, and teenagers, and my approach is both eclectic and strengths-based. I focus on a variety of issues, including attachment, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, I understand the challenges surrounding behavior management, parenting, divorce recovery, and offer Christian counseling. I also have experience in navigating ADHD, family dynamics, intimate relationships, sexual health, stress, and spirituality. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts (MA) degree, I bring both my professional expertise and genuine commitment to our sessions together.
It is truly a privilege for me to accompany you on your journey toward healing from past experiences, navigating the present, and fostering meaningful change for the future. If you feel ready to take that important next step, I am here to support you every step of the way.
I was born in Odessa, Ukraine, and immigrated to the United States at twelve with my family as Jewish refugees escaping antisemitism. This experience shaped my understanding of safety, identity, and belonging. It taught me that love and connection are things we create intentionally, through effort and care – not things we can take for granted.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and my Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University, where I trained in Ego Psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
During my school years, I came out as gay, which shaped my understanding of vulnerability, acceptance, and love. Later in my life, through continued internal work and community connection, I came out again – this time as nonbinary. These experiences inform my work with couples: love deepens when we are allowed to be fully seen.
For over 15 years, I have worked within one of the largest healthcare systems in the United States, supporting individuals and couples across diverse identities and lived experiences, including many within the LGBTQIA+ community. That work reinforced what I know to be true about love: it requires communication, boundaries, repair, and the willingness to try again. I completed a 6-month didactic rotation at the largest health care system in the country and UCSF in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, a research-supported approach focused on strengthening bonds and restoring emotional security. I have also earned a certification in Level 1 and Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, an evidence-based method that helps couples grow friendship, manage conflict, and build lasting connection.
In therapy, I help couples slow down, observe what is happening between them in the present moment, and make different choices.

Together, we identify meaningful goals, build insight, and develop healthier ways to manage challenges and create lasting change.
I specialize in working with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, addiction and recovery, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also enjoy working with individuals navigating both traditional and non-traditional relationships, including ethical non-monogamy. For clients who value spirituality, mindfulness, or holistic wellness, I welcome those perspectives into therapy and believe they can be meaningful resources for healing when integrated with evidence-based care. My goal is to create a compassionate, judgment-free environment where you feel supported while developing practical tools for lasting change.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and the owner of Thrive Counseling & Wellness, a virtual private practice dedicated to helping individuals find healing, resilience, and renewed hope. For more than a decade, I have had the privilege of walking alongside people as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, chronic pain, and life's unexpected challenges.
My passion for this work comes from a deep belief that every person deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I know that many people carry invisible struggles while appearing to have everything together on the outside. Creating a space where clients feel safe enough to be authentic, vulnerable, and fully themselves is at the heart of my practice.
I take a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy, meeting each client where they are while helping them identify practical tools for lasting change. My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and EMDR, allowing me to tailor treatment to each individual's unique experiences and goals. I have a special passion for supporting individuals living with chronic illness, chronic pain, high-functioning anxiety, depression, and the emotional impact of medical trauma.
I believe therapy is about more than reducing symptom; it is about helping people reconnect with themselves, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create lives that feel meaningful and fulfilling. It is truly an honor to earn my clients' trust and to witness the courage, growth, and resilience they discover along the way.
I work best with high-achieving adults who are used to being the strong, capable person others rely on but feel exhausted from constantly pushing through. Many of my clients once felt active, motivated, and confident, but stress, caregiving, work, parenting, or major life transitions have left them overwhelmed and disconnected from themselves.
You may struggle with anxiety, burnout, low energy, perfectionism, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling guilty when you rest. Even when you are accomplishing a great deal, your inner critic may continue telling you that you are not doing enough.
As someone who values movement, the outdoors, personal growth, and the connection between physical and emotional health, I understand the importance of reconnecting with the parts of yourself that stress has pushed aside. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, compassionate, and direct, with room for honesty and humor.
Together, we will quiet self-criticism, establish healthier boundaries, and develop realistic strategies that fit your life. Therapy is not about pushing harder. It is about finding your ground, reconnecting with yourself, and moving toward your next summit with greater balance, confidence, and self-trust.
My journey into therapy began with a deep curiosity about human resilience and the desire to help others find strength through life's hardest challenges. I'm a firm believer in the powerful role that therapy can play in alleviating distressing symptoms, facilitating positive growth, and increasing functioning in all areas of life. I value clear, open, and direct communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will be an empathetic partner to help you accurately self-reflect. When difficult topics arise, I'll help you deeply understand yourself in the conflict.

I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. My role as a therapist is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you can better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges, and move toward the life you want to create.
I work with individual adults in Colorado and Hawaii who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship changes, infertility, career decisions, stress, or simply feeling stuck. Wherever you're starting, we'll work together to identify your strengths, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools for lasting change.
My approach combines evidence-based psychotherapy with a whole-person perspective. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered counseling while tailoring each session to your individual needs and goals. I believe emotional wellness is influenced by every part of our lives, and therapy should honor the unique experiences, values, and strengths that each person brings into the room.
Whether you're looking for support through a difficult season or seeking greater purpose, balance, and fulfillment, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.

I am a licensed professional counselor in Colorado with over 10 years of experience working as a mental health therapist. I received a bachelor’s in psychology in 2006 and a master’s in clinical Mental Health from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs in 2010. I have worked with the English and Spanish speaking civilian and military population in a variety of areas, some of which are: couples counseling, family counseling, parenting, blended families, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), domestic violence, grief, communication skills, personality disorders (such as bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder), ADHD, depression, anxiety, emotional and sexual abuse, life changes, divorce, immigration, addictions, and military individual LGBTQ+ and family issues.
I'm not just a therapist. I'm a coffee enthusiast who starts each day with a pour-over and a quiet moment before the world wakes up. I'm an outdoor lover who believes fresh air and moving my body are non-negotiable whether that's a hike, 4x4ing, hitting the resort/ backcountry, a walk with the family, or just standing in the backyard feeling the sun. And I'm a family man. A partner. A parent. Someone who knows what it's like to be pulled in ten directions and still want to show up fully for the people around me.
That life outside the office isn't separate from my work. It's what keeps me refreshed, grounded, and able to come back to this chair with presence and energy. I don't just talk about balance I live it, imperfectly and intentionally.
The work I've done reflects that same groundedness.
I've been shaped by a wide range of experiences: residential treatment settings where the stakes were high and the progress was hard-won. Outpatient practice where life happens between sessions jobs, kids, marriages, breakdowns and breakthroughs. I've sat with clients across the entire lifespan, from geriatric patients navigating legacy and loss to teens just beginning to ask who they are.
That breadth taught me something: suffering doesn't discriminate by age, and neither does healing. Whether you're sixteen or sixty, whether you're processing trauma or just trying to feel less alone, the fundamentals are the same. You want to be seen. You want to be understood. And you want a way forward that actually fits your life.
That's what I'm here for.
I’m a licensed therapist with over 18 years of experience helping adults navigate burnout, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I work with high-functioning individuals who often appear to have it together on the outside but feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck beneath the surface.
Many of my clients are used to pushing through, taking care of others, and managing everything on their own—until it stops working. They come to me looking for more than just coping strategies. They want to understand what’s driving their patterns and experience real, lasting change.
My approach integrates EMDR, parts work, and nervous system-focused therapy to help you move beyond surface-level solutions. Together, we work to reduce overwhelm, process unresolved experiences, and shift the patterns that keep you feeling stuck.
The impact of this work is more than symptom relief. Clients often begin to feel calmer, more grounded, and clearer in their decisions. They develop a stronger sense of self, improved boundaries, and a greater ability to navigate stress without becoming overwhelmed.
My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and able to make meaningful progress at a pace that feels right for you. You don’t have to keep doing this alone—change is possible, and it can feel more sustainable than you might expect.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples.
My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy.
I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility.

I grew up in Las Vegas, NV in a big, blended family.
During my internship and following graduation, I worked at an inpatient treatment facility for teens dealing with high suicidality, self-harming behaviors, and psychosis. It was during this time that I began to recognize how much work can be done to prevent crises before they strike, rather than trying to figure it all out afterwards. Also, it isn't just big things like suicide that can be prevented-working to decrease stress, anxiety, increase fulfillment..these are worthwhile too.
If you feel nervous/weird/awkward/anxious about therapy, that’s normal.
All I can say is, you matter. You are an important part of the world. Let’s work together and see if maybe, just maybe, things could get a little better.
Hi, I'm Shelly — a licensed professional counselor with a passion for helping people find their footing when life feels overwhelming. My journey in mental health began decades ago in music therapy, working in psychiatric settings where I first witnessed the remarkable capacity people have to heal when given the right support and a safe space. That foundation shapes the way I work to this day — with attunement, creativity, and a deep belief in each person's capacity to heal.
I specialize in anxiety, OCD, trauma, and addiction recovery, using evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build real, lasting skills rather than just temporary relief. I have a particular heart for neurodivergent individuals — including those with ADHD and autism — who may have spent years feeling misunderstood. You do fit — sometimes it just takes the right space to discover that.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Good therapy isn't just about insight — it's about leaving each session with something you can actually use. I'll meet you where you are, move at a pace that feels right, and work hard to make sure our time together is meaningful.
For clients who desire it, I welcome the integration of faith and spirituality into our work. I believe healing touches the whole person — mind, heart, and spirit — and that for many people, faith isn't separate from their healing but central to it. I hold that with care and without pressure.
Whether you're navigating a specific struggle or carrying a weight you've held for too long, you don't have to do it alone. Reaching out is the hardest step — and I'm really glad you're here.
I'd love the opportunity to connect.
My name is Miguel Lopez, a Hispanic male (He/Him/His) and U.S. Army combat veteran who brings a unique perspective to my work as a therapist. Fluent in Spanish and passionate about guiding people through life’s challenges, I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University, a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University, and an Associate’s in Criminal Justice from Pikes Peak State College. With over a decade of experience as a caseworker, substance abuse counselor, and therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse clients facing real-life struggles and in need of daily support.
Life can be tough, and we all face difficult moments—whether it’s a breakup, divorce, grief, the loss of a loved one or pet, or even a job loss. In these times, having an unbiased person to offer support can make a world of difference. I see trauma as an unexpected part of life that is often hard to process, but with the right help, it can be managed and overcome healthily. I’ve personally experienced more than my share of trauma, grief, loss, sadness, depression, and substance use, and I sought help to work through them.
My approach to therapy is centered on helping people in the best way possible, always with an open mind. I often use Maslow’s hierarchy of needs as a guide, because I believe mental health is hard to prioritize when physical needs aren’t met, or issues like homelessness or substance abuse are present. I enjoy working with clients from age 5 to older adults who face Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Mood Disorders, Personality Disorders, and other mental health or substance use challenges. It’s easy to fight battles alone and suffer in silence, but you don’t have to anymore—together, we can work toward healing and a better future.
I am a bilingual licensed professional counselor and EMDR certified provider in Colorado. My background includes experience working with a variety of mental health conditions, such as mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma disorders, suicidal ideation, anxiety, depression, and psychosis. I have experience supporting survivors of intimate partner violence, human trafficking, migration trauma, war trauma, and cultural challenges. I work primarily with adults navigating trauma and life's challenges who want to understand how past experiences may be affecting their present life, and work to shift the patterns that are contributing to their distress. My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth. I aim to create a space that feels grounded, warm, and genuine--where people can slow down, explore themselves on a deeper level, and feel less alone in what they are carrying. I work at a pace that feels safe and manageable to my clients, while building insight and creating meaningful change. I am a calm, curious, open, empathetic, and insight-driven clinician who deeply values and respects the unique needs, qualities, and hopes of each individual I work with.
I am a compassionate, grounded, and collaborative therapist who believes in meeting clients where they are and supporting them at a pace that feels safe and manageable. I bring a steady, practical, and nonjudgmental presence to the therapy space, with a focus on helping people make sense of what they’re experiencing while building skills they can use in daily life. My style is warm but direct, and I aim to create a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward meaningful and lasting change.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I enjoy working with adults navigating grief, life transitions, aging, and caregiver stress. I understand that seeking support can feel like a big step, and I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
My background in medical social work has given me the opportunity to work with people from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of life experiences. Over the years, I've learned the value of meeting people where they are, listening deeply to their stories, and recognizing the strengths they already possess. I believe every person's journey is unique, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate life's challenges.
My approach to therapy is integrative, meaning I tailor each session to your individual needs, goals, and experiences while drawing from evidence-based practices. Together, we'll build on your strengths, explore new perspectives, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater resilience and confidence.
Whether you're grieving the loss of a loved one, adjusting to the changes that come with aging, caring for someone else, or facing another major life transition, my goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and better equipped to navigate whatever comes next.
I am an advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, a passionate partner in your healing process. As a clinician, I believe strongly in meeting you where you are. Even if it is a place you have never opened the doors for another. I gained my education at New York University and have experience working in many major diverse communities across the United States. This practice experience and armed me with the humility to connect with all cultures, intersections, and identities.
You may look like you have everything together on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or uncertain about how to move forward. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, women's issues, life transitions, and LGBTQ+ related concerns. Many of my clients come to therapy during periods of change, loss, self discovery, or emotional distress when the strategies that once worked no longer seem enough. Whether you're struggling with persistent worry, processing difficult experiences, navigating relationship challenges, rebuilding your confidence, or trying to better understand yourself, therapy can provide a space to pause, reflect, and heal. My goal is to help you gain greater clarity, reconnect with your strengths, and create a life that feels more aligned with your values, needs, and sense of purpose.

Hi, I’m Tiffany, a licensed clinical social worker who provides individual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related stress, grief, major life transitions, emotional overwhelm, low self-confidence, relationship difficulties, and challenges with boundaries or communication.
My goal is to provide a welcoming and nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and explore the experiences that have shaped how you think, feel, cope, and connect with others. I understand that many people come to therapy after spending years taking care of everyone else, pushing through difficult situations, minimizing their own needs, or trying to hold everything together. You may appear strong and capable to others while privately feeling exhausted, disconnected, anxious, or unsure of what to do next.
My approach is supportive, collaborative, and practical. We will make room to process difficult emotions while also identifying patterns, developing coping strategies, strengthening communication, and creating meaningful steps toward change. I believe therapy should provide more than a place to talk—it should help you understand yourself more clearly and use that understanding in your everyday life.
Whether you are experiencing a recent challenge or working through patterns that have developed over many years, we will begin where you are and move at a pace that respects your needs. I currently provide individual psychotherapy for adults and am not accepting new couples or family therapy clients.
I am a solution focused therapist. I believe in working together to resolve the challenges you may face in your life. I have combined my skills as a Masters level therapist and yoga teacher to create an integrated approach to therapy allowing people to move through the trauma stored in their bodies and cultivate a better relationship with their mind, body and soul.

Who I Am
Hi, I’m a psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience—and I still wake up every day passionate about helping people heal and grow. Therapy, to me, is about more than problem-solving; it’s about reconnecting with yourself, rediscovering your strengths, and creating lasting change.
I bring empathy, authenticity, and a laid-back, nonjudgmental vibe to my work. My approach blends evidence-based practices like CBT, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness with a deep respect for each client’s unique journey. I also bring the perspective of someone who’s walked through the trenches of life—childhood abuse, trauma, tragedy, and the challenges that come with being human. Those experiences don’t define me, but they do shape the way I connect—with honesty, compassion, and a real understanding of what it means to struggle and to heal.
At the heart of my practice is creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are—no pressure, no judgment. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, tap into your resilience, and build tools to move forward with clarity, confidence, and hope.
Helping people heal isn’t just my profession—it’s my calling, and it’s an honor to walk alongside others on their journey.
