We are all the same! Part of the human experience is facing many challenges in our lifetime. By the same token, humans are wired to be resilient and can thrive in any circumstance. I believe that each of us possesses inner wisdom. Therefore, I can help you with life struggles by drawing from your strengths, internal resources, and a balance of evidence-based practices.
In our sessions, I will provide education and tools to alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression, manage anger, stress, deal with relationship issues, and life transitions. My therapy approach is interactive, collaborative, and will meet you where you are in your journey while balancing the push to challenge you. "Nothing changes if nothing changes."
My vision in life is to help people understand and be changed by the fact that they are precious, valuable, and loved. What we believe about ourselves shapes the thoughts we have and the decisions we make, so my goal is always to start with identity since everything flows from that. When we learn how God truly views us, we have the ability to gain renewed perspective and tools for how to deal with the anxiety, depression, and other turmoil life brings.

Hi, I’m Kelly Castillo, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). With 15 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals navigate some of life’s most painful and transformative moments. Many of the people I work with come to therapy carrying the weight of childhood trauma, grief and loss, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, or major life transitions. Others feel stuck—uncertain about what’s next or how to move forward. Wherever you find yourself, you deserve a space where your experiences are validated and your healing is supported.
My mission is to help you reconnect with your strengths, rediscover your voice, and move toward the best version of yourself. Therapy can be a powerful pathway to insight, relief, and growth—a place where you don’t need to have everything figured out. Instead, it offers room to explore, question, heal, and gradually build the life you want with guidance and support.
I offer an honest, compassionate, and relatable approach to therapy. My goal is to create a safe, grounded environment where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered. I tailor each session to your individual needs and goals, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with integrative, client-centered approaches. This flexibility allows me to meet you where you are and support you as you move toward where you want to be.
Through my work in diverse clinical settings, I’ve learned that no two healing journeys are alike. Your story is uniquely your own—and your therapy should reflect that. I’m committed to walking alongside you, at your pace, using strategies that align with your values, strengths, and lived experience.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but together, we’ll navigate challenges, uncover your resilience, and build tools that foster clarity, confidence, and peace. I’m honored to support you in whatever comes next.

I offer a space where you can share what’s on your mind, build coping skills, set healthy boundaries, and explore practical solutions at your own pace. Together, we’ll uncover insights and make meaningful changes so you can feel more peace, confidence, and joy in your everyday life.

I have particular experience supporting LGBTQ+ clients, members of the adoption constellation, and professionals working in entertainment and other creative fields.
My approach is warm, relational, and depth-oriented. I believe meaningful therapy involves more than managing symptoms—it creates space to understand the deeper patterns, relationships, and experiences shaping your life. Depending on your needs, I draw from psychodynamic and Jungian therapy, attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, family systems, narrative therapy, dream work, and practical cognitive-behavioral tools.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working as a producer in film and television. That experience gave me a firsthand understanding of creative ambition, unpredictable careers, collaboration, rejection, and the pressure to keep performing even when something internally feels stuck.
I bring curiosity, humor, compassion, and genuine engagement into the therapy room. My goal is to offer a space where you can speak honestly, feel deeply understood, and develop a stronger relationship with yourself and the people who matter to you.

Hi! I'm Dr. Chelsea Acker, a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise working with children and adolescents. I'm experienced with a range of concerns, but I have specialized training in treating trauma, suicidality, and early psychosis.
In 2019, I graduated from the PAU-Stanford PsyD Consortium, where I trained at the Stanford School of Medicine's psychiatry department and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital's program at a local high school. I attended internship (our version of residency, more or less) at the UC Davis Medical Center, where I received world-class training in the treatment of childhood trauma and early psychosis, both separately and together. I then completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Chicago Child Trauma Center, where I continued to build my expertise in the treatment of childhood trauma. After that, I worked at Kaiser Permanente, Oakland, for two and a half years, where I specialized in working with children and adolescents with complex, persistent symptom presentations, who had often been hospitalized multiple times for safety concerns and struggled to make progress with previous therapists.

Hi, I'm Michelle, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Mindset Coach with over thirty years of experience. I help people feel more grounded, confident, and in control of their emotions. My goal is to create a space where therapy feels like a real, supportive conversation—one where you can better understand yourself and begin to move forward with clarity.
Many of the people I work with are dealing with anxiety, stress, or emotional patterns that leave them feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. Together, we take a closer look at what's happening beneath the surface—not just within you, but within the context of your life, your relationships, and the situations you're navigating every day. We explore how your thoughts, emotions, and stress responses are connected, and we build tools to help you respond in healthier, more empowering ways.
I believe there are two important relationships worth understanding: the relationships you have with other people, and the relationship you have with yourself. A question we'll often explore is, "What happens to you when...?" Whether it's conflict, criticism, disappointment, or uncertainty, understanding how you respond under different circumstances helps you recognize patterns and make choices that better reflect the person you want to be.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and down-to-earth. Together, we'll focus on the parts of your life that are within your influence… strengthening communication, setting healthy boundaries, and making changes that help your relationships feel healthier while allowing you to feel more like yourself.

Together we create a supportive environment where mind and body can speak the same language, allowing renewal to emerge gently and naturally. It is a privilege to support individuals as they reclaim a deeper sense of belonging within themselves and in their relationships.

Couples: I am TAKING Couples again. However only on Cash Pay basis. This is how it will work: You can schedule with me an hour consultation, you don't both have to be present, for this Consultation. From there we will meet 5 to 6 times for 1.5 hour sessions. It is very difficult to have Couples sessions within 60 min. The Cash pay is $300.00 for the 1.5 hour sessions. I understand the cost can be a deterrent in seeking help, however if you are both committed to doing the work 5 to 6 sessions should be productive and enough to see changes.
Individuals: Of course I am still taking individuals that are or are not in a relationship and need help. We were never taught how to be in a relationship of any kind. Yes there are tons of books of how to, however to put them to practical use can be very difficult. This can also relate to a relationship with a family member, friends or co-workers.
I am here to help with coping strategies for anxiety and depression symptoms or learning how to communicate more effectively with others.
For Clients that are insured by Kaiser: I will be confirming your appointment 48 hours before the appointment by email, please email me back with a confirmation. If you do not respond to my email I will cancel the appointment. I am sorry to have to do this, however I have had an excessive amount of no shows. Thank you for understanding.

I am the author of Upward Spiral to Sobriety: Creating New Neural Habits through the Power of I AM Statements, a conceptual framework designed to help you break free and rewrite your story. (You can learn more about my book at www.betterlifewithshauna.com.) If you are feeling weighed down by a relentless inner critic, unhealthy coping mechanisms which lead to addictive choices, you are not alone. If you are ready to quiet the noise, redefine who you are on your own terms, and build a brand-new identity or blueprint, you are exactly where you need to be.
My career has been built on helping people navigate deep-seated trauma. I spent years working extensively with foster youth, which gave me a profound understanding of childhood trauma. Today, alongside my private practice, I work on a frontline crisis line triaging severe emotional distress and suicidal ideation. This intense work has made me highly adept at sitting with people in their darkest, and heaviest moments. I excel at helping individuals interrupt overwhelming, negative thought loops and gently guiding them back to a place where they can remember they are safe, loved, worthy, and valued.
I am also a proud military veteran and have worked as a therapist in an inpatient drug rehabilitation center for veterans—this role was instrumental and foundational to writing my book the Upward Spiral to Sobriety.
In our sessions, we will work together to uncover the old narratives holding you back and consciously rewrite them into empowering beliefs and truth statements. I am a firm believer that "we are what we think." Using practical, evidence-based tools (CBT, DBT & Narrative therapy), we will reshape your thought patterns. Together, we will set reachable, realistic goals to help you find relief, clarity, and a much happier path forward.

Kelli is a trauma informed yoga teacher, writer, Land protector, Kundalini and Vishoka meditation practitioner, and mother of 4. Trained by Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur in the Compassionate Inquiry process, Kelli's intention as a psychotherapist is to bring awareness to all facets of ourselves. When we witness these parts with compassion, we become whole, liberated, and restored to our True Nature. As we become more present and connected with ourselves, there is safety and space for authentic expression through our body, psyche, life, and community. Kelli specializes in Complex Trauma; "a psychic wound that hardens you psychologically and then interferes with your ability to grow and develop. It pains you and now you're acting out of pain. It induces fear and now you're acting out of fear. Trauma is not what happens to you, it's what happens inside you as a result of what happens to you." This is often revealed through symptoms of depression, anxiety, and addiction. Our emotions are not tangential to our health. They are a signaling intelligence that can alert us to all sorts of phenomenon in our experience.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and have been practicing since 2020. I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical and School Counseling from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships so they can break unhelpful patterns and respond to life with greater intention. My work often focuses on anxiety, trauma, grief, emotional regulation, relationship concerns, self-esteem, boundaries, and major life transitions.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to each person’s needs and goals, drawing from approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT-informed skills, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. My goal is to help clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional flexibility, resilience, and confidence while creating meaningful and sustainable change.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking, traveling, reading, painting, journaling, and spending time with family and friends.
