Hello and welcome! My name is Shakira De Abreu. I’m a warm, real, and compassionate therapist who believes you shouldn’t have to figure everything out alone. I listen without judgment, meet you where you are, and bring both empathy and honesty to the work. Together, we’ll make sense of what you’re experiencing and find a path forward.
Congratulations on taking this important step toward a healthier, more fulfilling life! Starting therapy is a brave choice, and I am here to offer a safe, supportive space where healing can begin. I specialize in working with individuals and families navigating the weight of past trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. Together, we can uncover your strengths, build resilience, and work toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. If you're ready to start your healing journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you every step of the way.
I chose to become a mental health provider because I have always been deeply passionate about helping others navigate life's challenges and find a sense of healing and balance. Throughout my life, I’ve witnessed how powerful support, understanding, and a safe space can be in fostering growth and resilience. I’m committed to empowering individuals to better understand themselves, overcome obstacles, and create meaningful change. Becoming a mental health provider allows me to combine my desire to make a positive impact with my belief in the transformative power of therapy. My goal is to help people lead healthier, more fulfilling lives, and to offer them the tools and support they need to thrive.
My career as a classroom teacher, assistant principal and university professor served me well in my current practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my Doctorate in Education/Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. As a university professor, I became the Multiple Subject Program Director, Graduate Reading Director, and Supervisor of Student Teachers with both national and international publications.
Hi, I'm Darla, a licensed therapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and insight-oriented, blending practical tools with deeper exploration of patterns. I create a grounded, supportive space where you can gain clarity, better understand your emotional responses, and move toward sustainable change. Outside of my practice, you can usually find me with my friends and family out on a hike, the beach or spending time with my dogs, which helps keep me grounded and connected to the human side of this work.
I have been working in the mental health field since 2009 and completed my Master’s in Counseling Psychology in 2013. Throughout my career, I’ve supported individuals experiencing severe mental illness, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and bipolar disorder. My passion lies in helping youth and adults navigate life transitions and the emotional shifts that often accompany them.
I view therapy as a collaborative space to explore frustration, mood changes, low motivation, anger, and the many complex feelings that emerge during periods of change. My goal is to provide a supportive, grounded environment where clients can deepen insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward meaningful, sustainable growth.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 5+ years of experience supporting individuals on their healing journeys. I believe your mind and body brought you here for a reason. My approach centers the needs of Black women and women of color who are ready to shift out of survival mode, perfectionism, and overthinking, and into deeper connection with themselves. I focus on somatic regulation, not just cognitive insight, because healing isn’t only about talking, it’s about learning to feel safe in your body. I offer a grounding, collaborative space where you can slow down, tune in, and build the inner capacity to show up for yourself with compassion and clarity.
Hi there! I’m Monica, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I’m so glad you’re here, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to seek support and make space for your own healing and growth.
Life can feel challenging, unpredictable, and overwhelming at times. You may be feeling stuck, held back by fear, worry, sadness, insecurity, or the sense that you are not living as fully as you would like. Therapy can be a supportive place to better understand your thoughts and emotions, build healthy coping skills, and begin feeling more grounded, empowered, and at ease. My approach is integrative and compassionate, honoring the connection between physical, spiritual, and mental well-being as you work toward becoming the best version of yourself. I welcome adults from all backgrounds, and I especially enjoy supporting young adults, and women from diverse cultural communities who are navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and other women’s issues. I know that reaching out for help can feel difficult, which is why I strive to create a warm, caring, and safe space where trust can grow. I believe meaningful change is possible, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey.

Are you ready to take control of your life and make some changes? Are you feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, stressed, stuck, and anxious and find it difficult to feel motivated? Or, maybe you’re recently experiencing a relationship issue and/or a recent loss and feeling sad and alone? I believe I can help you.
My name is Monica Victoria Pulido. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California Riverside and a Master’s in Social Worker from California State University of San Bernardino. I am a Spanish-speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing as a clinician since 2003. I have extensive experience working with young children, young adults, outpatient care treating adults and the elderly, mental health settings, and groups. I can discuss and treat a variety of behavioral health concerns.
I am interested in working with individuals who are experiencing major life transitions, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression and stress. In my work, I hope to offer you a safe, warm, and empathetic space where you can share your feelings but also feel empowered to make the changes necessary to live a more meaningful life. I strongly believe in the importance of meeting individuals where they are. I will assist you with developing insight into yourself and your situation. Together, we will work on strategies that allow you to address the root causes of your difficulties and support you where you want to be. Whether that is: to gain confidence, communicate better, set boundaries, or start healing from your past traumas. I hope to be able to assist you in building a better version of yourself.
“Sometimes, you have to make a decision that will break your heart but heal your soul.” - Trent Shelton. Sometimes you just can’t. Can’t say no, can’t find motivation, can’t sit through another meeting, can’t stop worrying, can’t wear the mask and pretend to be okay, and/or can’t get out of bed. The list goes on, because at some point or another, we all feel like our struggle is too much to handle. But “trouble don’t last always” and you do not have to face your battles alone. Through a solutions-focused and person-centered approach, my goal is to help you nourish you. I help clients find solutions to issues involving boundaries, self-care, time management, trauma, and stress. Together we can visualize, explore, and define who you are and what you want out of life.
I received my Bachelors of Arts in Communications and Master’s of Science in Marriage Family Child Therapy from California State University, Fresno. I am also a semester from graduating with my second Master’s of Science degree in Psychology. Throughout college, I was able to represent Fresno State University as a member of the collegiate rodeo team. This was extremely special to me, as the Central Valley has been my home since the day I was born.
I grew up in a small town called Lemoore, California on my family’s 100-acre cattle ranch, which was home to my family, my cousins, uncles, aunts, and grandmother and grandfather. I have been with my college sweetheart for six years now and have been married for a little over a year. With this said, I can relate to the complexity of family dynamics and interpersonal relationships, as well as the effect that they can have on our lives.
My passion lies in supporting individuals because I believe that each individual has their own integral part of the human experience. Each individual is unique, bringing their own set of morals, beliefs, triggers, traumas, and more. In my role as a therapist, my objective is to assist every individual in crafting the best possible life path for themselves.

Do you overthink, replay conversations, revisit past decisions, predict problems, spiral, or get stuck in patterns that create conflict or keep you avoiding what needs to be addressed?
You are thoughtful, observant, and more capable than you may currently feel. But the same mind that notices details, thinks ahead, and considers different possibilities can go into overdrive. You may feel on edge much of the time, dwell on the past, get irritated by small things, feel flat, or disconnect from things you once enjoyed. You may be going through this on your own or in a relationship with someone dealing with some of the same things.
You may avoid difficult conversations, put off issues, or end up in the same conflict. Shame, fear of rejection, or trouble communicating can make it difficult to say what you really think or need. We can work on skills to communicate better, explore the expectations you bring to relationships, and recognize roles and patterns you keep replaying. Those roles may have served you long ago, but they may need revision now.
I am Ramy Danon, a USC-trained Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 20 years of experience. Therapy with me is a real conversation. I listen carefully, ask questions, and tell you honestly what I see. I work with men, women, and couples, and I adapt the work to what is really bothering you and what you actually want to address.
I also taught university and college students for 19 years. I love helping people recognize their abilities and expand what they believe is possible. I understand how difficult it can be to trust someone, especially if you struggle to ask for help. Getting started may be the hardest part. I am eager to learn about what is bothering you.
Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) based in sunny southern California, living with my partner, of many years, John, and our three cats, three dogs, and tortoise, who by the way, is currently hibernating...and don't we all wish we could do that at times? I have many years of experience working with individuals, and with a varied range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and relationship challenges. By the way, a former client recently said: "I am so grateful to have worked with you, you are truly gifted, and I have learned so much!"
Life moves fast and sometime we can’t keep up. Sometimes we don’t feel like we can talk to others for fear of judgment. Do you feel overwhelmed? Do you withdraw and shut down when you are struggling? You might not have the tools to sort out or process these emotions. Maybe you know some skills, and are unsure how to or when to use them. These are just a few reasons why people seek therapy and I provide a supportive, non-judgmental and encouraging environment.
