My objective is to empower individuals and couples to better understand themselves, strengthen their resilience, and create more peaceful, fulfilling lives. I believe people already carry the capacity for growth and healing, and my work focuses on helping clients recognize, access, and trust their own strengths. I offer a therapeutic space that is warm, honest, and down-to-earth. I am direct and transparent while remaining supportive and compassionate, and I show up authentically rather than relying on overly clinical language or rigid approaches. My work is collaborative and eclectic, drawing from a range of therapeutic tools based on each client’s needs, including EMDR. I work with individuals and couples to build insight, improve communication, and create meaningful, lasting change within the broader systems of family and society.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session is focused on understanding what’s bringing you to therapy and what you’d like to work toward. We’ll discuss goals, relevant background, and next steps at a pace that feels comfortable, with the aim of leaving the session with greater clarity and a sense of direction moving forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I feel that my biggest strength is that I am not a "cookie cutter" therapist and that is typically what I hear from my clients as something that they enjoy about working with me. I will ask tough questions when necessary and reflect observations in a supportive way.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work well with individuals who are open to the process of therapy and curious about themselves. You don’t need to have clear goals or feel confident starting out. A willingness to show up, reflect, and engage in the conversation together is what matters most.
EMDR
I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) because it is a highly effective, evidence-based approach that helps clients process and heal from past trauma by targeting distressing memories and reducing their emotional intensity. By utilizing bilateral stimulation, EMDR allows clients to reprocess painful experiences in a safe and structured way, promoting relief from symptoms and fostering long-term emotional resilience.
Eclectic
I use an eclectic approach to therapy because every client is unique, and integrating techniques from various therapeutic modalities allows me to tailor treatment to their specific needs, strengths, and goals. By drawing from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness, I create a flexible and personalized framework that supports lasting growth and healing.

I've been working with Natalie for over a year now. I had trouble finding a therapist that clicked with me, until I met Natalie. She has been very helpful to me over the past year. Our sessions help me to be positive about big changes, and work on things to help me work through moments that are challenging in my daily life. My anxiety has been more manageable, and my overall mood and ability to cope with challenges has improved.
