I’m here to support you on your journey toward greater self-awareness and emotional well-being. In our individual sessions, we’ll explore how your past experiences shape your present feelings and behaviors, including any underlying self-doubt or anxiety. Together, we’ll examine the personal, relational, and cultural influences that have shaped your experiences, helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your unique story. Using techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing, we’ll address the feelings associated with anxiety and self-doubt. I believe that healing involves both understanding our experiences and reconnecting with the wisdom of the body. Through exploring the stories you hold about yourself, increasing awareness of physical and emotional responses, and developing practical tools for coping, we can create new pathways toward growth and resilience. Together, we’ll create a safe space where you can express yourself freely, explore new perspectives, reconnect with your values, celebrate your strengths, and begin to feel more grounded, connected, and open to life’s possibilities.

Hi there! I'm Nancy, and I am so excited to share a bit about myself with you! Growing up, I experienced some pretty challenging situations within my family, and as a result, I spent much of my childhood in the foster care system and moving from place to place never being able to call a place my home. These experiences gave me a unique perspective on the importance of early intervention and prevention in the mental health field. It was through my experience as a survivor, and my own personal struggles that I discovered my passion for helping others. As a mental health professional, I've had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals, but one experience that stands out to me the most is that of my younger brother. Despite struggling with reading and writing, he was consistently overlooked and eventually turned to drugs, never finishing high school. It's a heartbreaking situation, and I often wonder what could have been different if someone had taken the time to help him earlier. Unfortunately, my brother now suffers from bipolar disorder and experiences panic attacks due to the overwhelming sense of hopelessness and loss he feels. It's because of him that I've dedicated my career to helping others before they reach that point of no return. The point where there is nothing more than resignation and accepting what is than what one could become. Overall, I'm incredibly passionate about what I do and am eager to continue making a positive impact on the lives of children, youth, and families in need. I'm excited about the opportunity to get to know you and be of support to you in your toughest moments in life. Warmly, Nancy Gonzalez-McKenzie

Hi. My name is Ana Hernandez. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with three years of experience helping clients navigate life's most difficult moments. I help people who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety and depression find their way back to steadiness. Whether you're dealing with racing thoughts that won't quiet down, a low mood that has settled in and won't lift, or the exhaustion of trying to hold it all together, you don't have to figure it out alone. My approach is rooted in Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy to meet each person where they are. I believe that everyone carries a story about who they are, and they are capable of -sometimes that story gets stuck; it gets weighed down by pain, anxiety, trauma, marital conflicts, and life transitions. Together, we'll gently unpack the story, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and rebuild the relationships and inner narrative that help you thrive. Whether you are an adult navigating stress, anxiety, or life transitions, or a couple navigating lack of connection and trust, or a family struggling, my approach is collaborative, warm, and tailored to you: Narrative Therapy- helping you separate yourself from your problems to rewrite your story with agency and hope. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy- practical tools to identify and reshape thought patterns that hold you back. Interpersonal Therapy- strengthening relationships and communication that support your well-being. My goal is simple: to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and equipped with real tools for lasting change.

Thank you for taking the time to review my brief profile. I hold a Doctorate in Social Work, complemented by more than 25 years of experience in healthcare and mental wellness. I have worked with many clients dealing with end-of-life, healing from grief and loss issues, depression, cultural conflicts, intergenerational and relationship stressors, work/life balance issues, and other life stressors that can potentially affect the daily living of a person. Honoring what we need is not selfish - it is an essential part of caring for ourselves, and creating a life where we can heal, grow, and thrive. I feel truly humbled and honored to meet each client who chooses me as their therapist. I also believe that a little humor can go a long way - it can bring lightness to difficult moments, strengthen connection, and remind us that healing doesn't always have to feel so heavy.

I am a psychologist and offer services via telehealth for individuals. Problems come from a network of experiences. In our work together, we will investigate these problems: where they come from, how they are supported, what they may be telling you, how you learned from these problems, ways they can be negotiated, and times when they are not present. Nothing is wrong with you. You are simply dealing with problems the best way you know how. As we explore the problems, you will find fresh perspectives and build alternative ways of responding that enable you to build better relationships and handle problems with increased flexibility. I am an interactive therapist working with you to develop and experience more confidence, focus, and motivation to meet life’s changing demands. I help people who are doing ok on the outside figure out, and understand, why they might feel so overwhelmed on the inside. You can gain insight and clarity and increase your ability to navigate life transitions, anxiety, fear, depression, and/or traumatic experiences that have impacted your quality of life.

I have been working with children, families, and adults for over 40 years. My counseling work began following intensive training at the UCLA Child Outpatient Clinic in Los Angeles. After earning a master's degree in social work from USC, I continued clinical work in a variety of settings including pediatric offices, outpatient clinics, and residential treatment. I completed a fellowship in Infant Parent Mental Health and studied under the late Dr. T. Berry Brazelton, MD, Dr. Edward Tronick, PhD, and Dr. Kristie Brandt, in Napa, California before moving on to complete a doctoral degree in educational psychology and board certified in school neuropsychology. With over 40 years of experience, I specialize in working with children and teens experiencing anxiety and low self esteem, helping them develop emotional regulation, resilience, and self-understanding through a compassionate, developmentally attuned approach. I also work with adults, drawing upon deep knowledge of childhood trauma—including family of origin betrayal such as abuse, emotional neglect, and complex trauma resulting from violations of trust—to support healing from long-standing relational and emotional wounds. My trauma-informed practice integrates insights from neuroscience, developmental psychology, and intergenerational family systems, offering clients of all ages a pathway toward growth, stability, and self-compassion. I moved on to complete a specialist degree in school psychology and master's degree in education from Chapman University. I then worked as a school psychologist in public schools for nearly 20 years, during which time I completed a doctoral degree in educational psychology at Alliant International University and became board certified in school neuropsychology through the American Board of School Neuropsychology. I have held teaching posts, providing instruction to students enrolled in the master's degree in Social Work program at California State University, Long Beach. DISCLAIMER: Please do not book me based off of ratings or reviews. Your experience with me will be personal and UNIQUE to YOUR needs, not someone else's needs or experience. Please book me if you perceive I am the right TOOL to use and help you reach your INDIVIDUAL goals. Book me if you are seeking an action-oriented therapist who provides HOMEWORK! Book me if you have insight about your situation, some history with therapy, are seeking solution-focused steps, and are not seeking someone to solely affirm you. I may or may not be the best therapist for newcomers (depends on you) as I ask a lot of questions, which can overwhelm you if you are not used to being questioned. Questioning is to understand you and get to the root of the problem, as well as the excuses used to perpetuate the problem. I am not interested in treating symptoms but rather getting to the core of the problem. If you don't want to do the work, I am just an expensive "Friend". So please be sure that you understand my style before booking me ;-). I am warm, DIRECT, solution-focused, AUTHENTIC, mildly confrontational, 100% Raw/Real and guaranteed to make you laugh as I have often heard from clients that I am funny :-) I won't lie to you or co-sign lies you tell yourself. I will gently reflect what you are not saying and what you are not showing so that you can explore for yourself. The only way out of pain is through. Not above, below, around but through.. The good news is you are not alone and don’t have to do it alone. Utilize the resources offered in this collaborative effort in creating the life (mind, body, & soul) you deserve.

Hi, I’m Steven. Have you been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like life has become harder to manage? Maybe you’re struggling with relationships, work, stress, or finding the motivation and balance you once had. Perhaps you’ve been so focused on getting through each day that you haven’t had much time to be kind to yourself. I help individuals navigate difficult emotions, life transitions, and unexpected challenges by creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we will explore what may be holding you back, identify patterns that are no longer serving you, and build on the strengths you already have. Using evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while tailoring our work to your unique needs, we will work together to develop practical tools for managing challenges and creating meaningful change. My goal is to help you reconnect with your confidence, resilience, and the healthier, more balanced version of yourself. You don’t have to face these challenges alone. Therapy is a collaborative journey, and I would be honored to support you as you heal, grow, and move forward.

Hi, I'm Dr. Alysha! Are you ready to Empower your Mental Health? By creating a safe place for processing and expression, I support persons on their unique healing journey to strengthen authenticity and resiliency. My overall approach uses psychodynamic talk therapy, offering space to those wanting to explore new perspectives, reframes, and change. When we internalize or suppress our emotions and experiences of adversity, we may be faced with lasting emotional trauma that impacts our entire well-being. However there is power in validation and relatability and that is why I utilize a client-centered, strengths-based method, with consideration for relational, intersectional, and social justice contexts. I don’t consider myself an advice giver, but instead, I will collaborate with you to recognize your choices and help you make the best one for yourself. My objective is for you to feel empowered by reducing emotional burdens, developing coping strategies, identifying resources, and enhancing your strengths. You will be treated with respectful, objective, non-biased assistance. I believe that with the right amount of support, guidance, and compassion, our capabilities are endless. **Please note Relational Therapy (couples and families) is Cash Only at $200 per session. Individual cash sessions are $150**

Hello, my name is Bryan Llorente, I am a licensed clinical social worker and have experience working in several clinical and therapeutic settings. I started my career at Advent Health Hospice Care, one of the largest non-profit hospital systems in the country. Through this position I gained experience in providing therapeutic counseling services to individuals and families who are going through major transitional period in their lives (receiving a terminal illness, death of loved one, living adjustments etc.) As a result I am well experienced in dealing with depression, anxiety, situational stress, loss of a loved one, grief, and am understanding of how medical issues can affect a person’s mental health. I have also worked for Orlando Health at the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies covering the ED/Triage, antepartum and postpartum units of the hospital. This position gave me experience with providing crisis interventions and psychotherapeutic counseling to patient's who have a history of severe mental health issues, or who are actively experiencing medical emergencies, traumatic events, domestic violence, manic/depressive episodes, psychotic episodes, and suicidal ideations. In addition, I provided education on post partum depression and child care. In 2021 I began teaching classes as an Adjunct Professor for the University of Central Florida's College of Health Professions and Sciences. I have also worked for the National Suicide Prevention Line where I learned how to deal with a variety of mental health and emotional crisis situations over the phone. I feel well equipped to help my clients deal with a variety of issues, whether in person, or online. I take an objective and collaborative approach to understanding problems, and work with clients to create strategies to address problems head on so that clients learn the skills necessary to achieve their goals.
