Hi, I’m Steven. Have you been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like life has become harder to manage? Maybe you’re struggling with relationships, work, stress, or finding the motivation and balance you once had. Perhaps you’ve been so focused on getting through each day that you haven’t had much time to be kind to yourself. I help individuals navigate difficult emotions, life transitions, and unexpected challenges by creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we will explore what may be holding you back, identify patterns that are no longer serving you, and build on the strengths you already have. Using evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while tailoring our work to your unique needs, we will work together to develop practical tools for managing challenges and creating meaningful change. My goal is to help you reconnect with your confidence, resilience, and the healthier, more balanced version of yourself. You don’t have to face these challenges alone. Therapy is a collaborative journey, and I would be honored to support you as you heal, grow, and move forward.
Your first session is a time for us to get to know each other and begin creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. You’ll have the opportunity to share what brings you in, talk about your concerns, and ask any questions you may have. We’ll take things at your pace and work together to understand your needs and find the best way to support you.
One of my greatest strengths is creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being open and honest. I want each person I work with to feel truly heard and accepted, especially when discussing the challenges, fears, or struggles that may be holding them back. Many people carry feelings of shame or guilt when sharing their difficulties with others. My goal is to help clients recognize and reconnect with the strengths, resilience, and positive qualities they already possess. Together, we can build on those strengths and develop the tools needed to move forward, grow, and overcome challenges.
I love working with clients who are ready to make changes and take an active role in their growth. My ideal client is someone who wants to better understand themselves, work through challenges, and build on their strengths. I believe that meaningful change happens through a supportive partnership. I’m here to provide guidance, encouragement, and a safe space as clients work toward feeling more confident, connected, and empowered in their lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my work because I value the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and how understanding these patterns can help create meaningful change. At the same time, I believe therapy should be tailored to each individual, and I am open to using different approaches and tools based on what feels most helpful and effective for each client. My goal is to meet clients where they are and work collaboratively to find the approach that best supports their needs, goals, and personal journey.

Steve Schwartz was a good listener. He seemed to understand what was happening with me. Came up with some ideas to help me get back to myself.
