Hi, I’m Genevie. I am a licensed mental health professional with about nine years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through their healing journey. My practice is centered on authenticity, unconditional positive regard, and creating a safe space where you can feel heard and understood. I specialize in trauma and have extensive experience working with clients across the lifespan from children as young as five to adults in their 60s to 70s. My background includes working with children, teens, and adults navigating ADHD, autism, grief and loss, terminal illness, family system challenges, and co-occurring disorders. I also work with couples and families to strengthen communication, boundaries, and connection. In therapy, I draw from multiple approaches including client-centered therapy, CBT, and family systems perspectives. I’m someone who believes that healing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in relationships where we feel safe enough to be real. As a therapist, I show up with warmth, honesty, and deep respect for your story. I’m especially drawn to working with people who’ve had to hold it all together for others, often at the expense of themselves. If you grew up feeling unseen, like you had to shrink yourself to stay safe or lovable, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to keep doing it that way.
In our work together, I’ll meet you with curiosity and compassion. I’m here to help you understand where your patterns come from, reconnect with the parts of yourself that got buried, and figure out what healing actually looks like for you. There’s no pressure to be perfect—just space to be honest, explore what matters, and feel a little more free.
I’m Liz Allieu, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Alafia Wellness. I specialize in helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, and depression so they can heal, thrive, and live authentically. I provide a compassionate, action-oriented space where you can reconnect with your truth and begin to flourish. My style is warm, collaborative, and honest. I believe therapy should feel like both a sanctuary and a strategy session.

It never ceases to amaze me just how often I have to try to convince others that they are worthy SIMPLY because they exist. This includes you! I want to know who communicated to you that you are not enough and why you value the opinion of said person(s); these types of harmful beliefs are learned, not innate. Let's unlearn them together.
Most of my early clinical work has been with children and adolescents with focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, trauma and various behavioral and emotional issues. I have worked in high-intensity and high-crisis environments from school to hospital settings.
I am passionate about working with and creating a safe space for folks who belong to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. I understand that belonging to a marginalized/oppressed group can result in barriers to achieving and maintaining optimal mental health. I am a cis/het woman doing my best to provide care that is equitable and gender-affirming. I'm always learning and growing as an ally; you will always be safe here. I am also always looking at things through a trauma-informed lens.
I'm a busy working parent who understands how hard it can be to do it all. I am currently pursuing a certification in treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders to be able to better support soon-to-be and new parents; this particular journey is no joke! I am certified in treating perinatal mental health disorders (PMH-C)

My goal is to meet you where you are, walk alongside you through the process, and help you create a path toward greater well-being and a more fulfilling life.
I was born in the US, but I was raised in Mexico. I lived in Tijuana for 10 years when my parents decided to move us across the border to Chula Vista, California. As a first-generation Mexican-American, I experienced a duality of cultures. I was often judged for either being “not Mexican enough” OR “not American enough.” I also faced enormous pressure to be successful – to justify my parents’ having left their beloved country so my sibling and I could have a better life. This is one of many reasons I decided to follow this path: to help those who feel alone in their journey. That’s how I felt when acculturating to this country.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at San Diego State University (SDSU). I was going to go directly into the workforce and eventually go back for my master’s, but an awesome professor challenged me to apply right away so I wouldn’t lose momentum. So, that’s what I did. I ended up getting my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Southern California. It took some time and courage to finish all my licensing requirements, but it was worth it! I’ve been licensed as a clinical social worker in California since 2019. I am certified in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT.
I welcome individuals who are prepared to engage intentionally in the process of growth, healing, and meaningful change. Whether you are navigating an acute life stressor or seeking to address longstanding patterns, therapy provides a structured and collaborative environment in which to explore challenges and develop sustainable solutions.
To schedule an appointment or obtain additional information, please contact the office directly or schedule online.

Life brings many stressors that can affect your ability to cope — mentally, emotionally, and even physically. In our work together, whether individually or in a group setting, I take a holistic approach that supports your well-being in mind, body, and spirit.
My practice is client-centered and rooted in mindfulness. Together, we’ll gently explore what may be keeping you stuck — whether it’s unresolved trauma, painful memories, life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or addiction.

I specialize in serving patients suffering suicide loss at any stage of the loss. I have years of experience in serving patients with a multitude of mental health and relational difficulties. I consider my orientation as a therapist to be first and foremost client-centered and strength-based. Although I utilize various therapeutic approaches, I chiefly consider myself to be a narrative/Rogerian therapist. This means that I work to help my patients take back the power and control over their own stories and assist them by co-authoring a narrative that truly witnesses and respects their traumas, tragedies, injustices, achievements, triumphs, milestones, strengths, and resiliency. I do this while holding empathy, congruency and unconditional positive regard as my three major tenants in the therapeutic alliance.
I specialize in therapy for: adult individuals suffering depression, anxiety, interpersonal/relational difficulties, traumatic grief, suicide loss, relational and attachment traumas, victims of psychological torture/emotional abuse/brainwashing, adult children of narcissists, sufferers of paranormal traumas, military and first-responder trauma, vegans, LGBTQIA+, adults with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), Developmental disabilities (DD), people struggling with life stressors, and those struggling with identity.

Hi, My name is Aaron and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who loves to see people start taking more control over their life and empowering them to become the mature, healthy person that they've always wanted to be. I've found that many people get bogged down by false lies/narratives that they have in their heads like, "I'm not good enough", "I can't handle it", or the all too common "I don't deserve ... ".
These lies, whether we realize it or not, end up impacting many area's of our life, especially the way we view ourselves. With me, my hope is that you will have a transformative experience in the way you look at yourself and believe in yourself. My goal is for you to grow in believing, "There are many good things about me and that's enough", or "I actually can handle it, and I can figure things out" or "I actually do deserve ..."
When you grow in actually believing these things, it's amazing how much more mature, healthy and confident you become. You can actually re-write the way you think about yourself and you can experience life to the fullest!
I help people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental disorders. I help them further develop their mindfulness, assertive communication skills, and capacity for love & respect for themselves, and, consequently, the rest of the world. I don't merely believe in therapy, I know first-hand the beneficial power it can provide. Before seeking mental health services for myself, I not only suffered from low self-esteem, I also experienced severe panic attacks. I am, and forever will be, grateful each and every day that those symptoms now only exist in my past. These are just a few of the reasons why mental health is by far my greatest passion in life.
I began my career working with youth and families in residential settings, where I saw firsthand the impact our experiences can have on how we move through the world. My own life experiences also shaped my path to becoming a therapist and taught me the importance of feeling seen, understood, and supported. Over the years, this has shaped an approach that looks at the whole person—their story, strengths, relationships, and the experiences that have made them who they are.

It is your story, and I am here to listen, support, and help you explore your aspirations, identify your goals, and work together to create a future chapter that aligns with your desires and values.

Hi, I’m Jamie.
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California with over 10 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Prior to practicing in California, I worked as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York and earned my Master’s in Counseling and Community Psychology from The Sage Colleges in Albany, New York.
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, heard, and accepted without judgment. My approach is collaborative and person-centered, recognizing that you are the expert on your own life. I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, support, insight, and practical tools.
A phrase that guides both my personal life and my work is *“Remember the Goal.”* To me, this means staying connected to what matters most, even when life feels overwhelming. Growth isn’t always linear, but with support and intention, you can keep moving forward one step at a time.
It’s a privilege to be invited into each person’s story, and I would be honored to walk alongside you in yours.
Are you ready to create a life worth living? I take a collaborative compassionate approach to help people work through trauma and manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges that may stand in the way of their goals. It’s always possible to learn new ways of thinking and behaving to live more effectively. I offer a safe, respectful space where you can share your experiences and begin to heal. Together, we’ll work toward improving your daily life and building the future you want. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing and growth.
I am a bilingual-Spanish-speaking, Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years experience in the mental health field. My training consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, Interpersonal Therapy, Crisis Therapy, Motivational Therapy, etc.; however, when providing services to clients, I prefer to utilize a Solution-Focused approach to help clients achieve their mental health goals. I believe that there is not a “one size fits all” approach to therapy and that collaboration and trust with my clients is key to success in therapy. My goal is to help and empower others who are struggling to heal so that they can have a better future and not continue to live in the pain of the past. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching a movie/show, or reading a book.
Welcome, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I have been working in the field of mental health for over 8 years. I enjoy working with patience in achieving their mental health goals. You deserve to feel better. If you've been feeling stressed, anxious, or stuck in patterns that are hard to change, you're not alone, and you don't have to figure it out on your own.
Hi, I'm Michelle, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Mindset Coach with over thirty years of experience. I help people feel more grounded, confident, and in control of their emotions. My goal is to create a space where therapy feels like a real, supportive conversation—one where you can better understand yourself and begin to move forward with clarity.
Many of the people I work with are dealing with anxiety, stress, or emotional patterns that leave them feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. Together, we take a closer look at what's happening beneath the surface—not just within you, but within the context of your life, your relationships, and the situations you're navigating every day. We explore how your thoughts, emotions, and stress responses are connected, and we build tools to help you respond in healthier, more empowering ways.
I believe there are two important relationships worth understanding: the relationships you have with other people, and the relationship you have with yourself. A question we'll often explore is, "What happens to you when...?" Whether it's conflict, criticism, disappointment, or uncertainty, understanding how you respond under different circumstances helps you recognize patterns and make choices that better reflect the person you want to be.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and down-to-earth. Together, we'll focus on the parts of your life that are within your influence… strengthening communication, setting healthy boundaries, and making changes that help your relationships feel healthier while allowing you to feel more like yourself.

I specialize in supporting teens and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, self-harm behaviors, and trauma/PTSD.
I have extensive experience helping adolescents navigate academic stress, social anxiety, identity development, emotional regulation, and the impact of difficult life experiences. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and foster meaningful healing and personal growth so clients can move toward becoming the best versions of themselves.
I work best with people who are curious about themselves and open to being honest, even when it feels uncomfortable.
Many start therapy because of anxiety or depression, but these feelings often signal something deeper, like a weak sense of identity or a lack of purpose. If you are ready to explore your inner world and face what you find, I would be glad to support you on that journey.
I work with adults, including Russian-speaking immigrants from the former Soviet Union and other countries. I offer sessions in both English and Russian.
With over a decade of clinical experience, I provide a grounded, client-centered approach to navigating complex life transitions. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Cal-Poly Humboldt and have since dedicated my practice to helping individuals and families resolve deep-seated conflict. My work is focused on empowering you to master anxiety, improve communication, and navigate the specific nuances of men’s issues and relational dynamics.
Beyond the therapy room, I serve as Associate Faculty in Psychology. This role ensures that our work remains rooted in the latest developmental research and psychological science. I don’t view therapy as a passive process, but as a deliberate partnership designed to foster resilience and clarity.
I believe that every individual holds the expertise over their own life. My job isn't to rewrite your history, but to help you glean insights from it. Together, we move past the surface to uncover genuine passions and confront the challenges that stand in your way, transforming your personal trials into the foundation of your growth.
