Hello and welcome. First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your courage to take the first step in selecting a therapist. The thought of sharing intimate thoughts, struggles, and personal experiences can be overwhelming and frightening. I hope to assist you in feeling confident that you have come to the right place to express your needs and work on feeling better. I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) from California. I have over 12 years experience in providing services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, trauma, and other challenges.
I have had the pleasure of working in various settings. For almost seven years, I worked at a community mental health agency treating children, adolescents, adults, and families with a variety of needs especially those who have experienced trauma. I have found that each individual comes with their unique story and background.
My first experience using telehealth was during the pandemic. With the increase of mental health needs, I discovered the importance of being able to provide services through the telehealth platform. It inspired me to continue to reach those clients who desire telehealth for various reasons. Life can be busy with schedules and finding time for therapy is not always easy. Telehealth can make therapy a little easier.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in supporting individuals through major life transitions and parents through pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. I help people make sense of what feels overwhelming and reconnect with their own strengths. I care deeply about the relationship we build together and believe that feeling understood and emotionally safe is the foundation of meaningful therapy. My work is rooted in attachment, nervous system awareness, and meeting you where you are, so therapy feels supportive, steady, and grounded in your real life.
I work with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related stress, or feeling overwhelmed during life transitions. Many of my clients are individuals who feel emotionally drained, stuck, or disconnected from themselves, and are seeking support to regain balance, clarity, and confidence in their daily lives.

I’m a licensed therapist who provides a warm, grounded, and compassionate space for healing, with a strong focus on trauma-informed care. My work is shaped by professional training and lived experience, allowing me to meet clients with empathy, safety, and respect. I support individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, stress, and life transitions, helping them build resilience, insight, and a sense of stability at a pace that feels right for them.
I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist who works with thoughtful individuals and couples who work hard yet still feel anxious. Many are looking for more than surface-level coping skills—they want deeper understanding and lasting change. Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or big questions about meaning, purpose, and identity—often while holding demanding roles in their personal or professional lives.
In addition to my clinical work, I teach couples counseling as an adjunct professor at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Teaching keeps me grounded in both theory and practice, and it reflects how much I genuinely enjoy helping people understand relationships more deeply—whether that’s learning how conflict works, how attachment shapes connection, or how to communicate with more honesty and care.
I also bring an unconventional but deeply human element into my work: humor. I’m a comedian outside the therapy room, and when used thoughtfully, humor can help lower defensiveness, build trust, and make difficult conversations feel more approachable. Therapy doesn’t have to be heavy all the time to be meaningful.
I have particular experience working with healthcare workers and others in high-pressure systems, including those balancing responsibility, burnout, and emotional fatigue while still needing to function at a high level. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded, integrating attachment-based, somatic, mindfulness-based, and practical strategies tailored to each client.
Above all, I aim to create a space where people feel safe, understood, and free to explore what really matters to them—at their own pace, and with curiosity rather than judgment.
I am a compassionate EMDR trained psychotherapist who values my clients' time. This career path became of interest to me after my time in the military, where I saw many of my friends' lives destroyed by PTSD. I am now committed to healing and advocacy work for veterans and civilians alike suffering from mental health conditions. If you are willing to put in the effort, I will bring strategies to our sessions with proven success rates, and continually monitor your progress so that I can be sure that you are hitting your personal goals and getting relief from your symptoms.
As a Black clinician, I also provide a unique perspective by integrating a strong multicultural framework to fully understand your experiences, relationships and the way you navigate to the world around you. Brionne (Bri) Clemons is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, born and raised in the heart of Los Angeles. A therapist who "gets it" without the need to explain culture or values. More specifically, I want to create a safe space and invite individuals who are being racially profiled and targeted in public spaces, anxiety tied to immigration status, racial/cultural trauma, emotional impact of racism/deportation fears, shame/guilt, hypervigilance, depression, emotional numbness, family pressure, people pleasing, perfectionism, made to feel as they are "not good enough", feeling responsible for everyone's emotions, cultural identity, internalized shame or silence around your culture/identity/or needs, family expectations, or intergenerational trauma. You may feel torn between cultures, exhausted by the need to explain yourself or burdened by stories and silence that were passed down to you. You are NOT broken, you have been surviving utilizing survival responses, passed down out of love, pain and necessity.
