New to Grow
All individuals, children, couples, and families deserve to feel truly seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life's challenges during their therapeutic process. Whether you're seeking therapy for yourself, your child, your relationship, or your family, my role as your therapist, will be to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up just as you are. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years of experience, I believe healing begins with trust, authenticity, and a strong therapeutic relationship. I welcome and affirm individuals of all races, ethnicities, cultures, identities, backgrounds, and the LGBTQ2+ community with unconditional positive regard and respect. Our work together, will be guided by your unique strengths, values, and goals. Through a collaborative approach, we will identify effective coping strategies. As we deepen our self-awareness, build confidence through new coping techniques, and support emotional growth. you will begin to create space for yourself to where you can choose to navigate life with greater clarity, moving forward with a growing sense of empowerment in your choices and future decisions.
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and it's completely normal to have questions or feel uncertain. My goal during our first session is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the very beginning. We'll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to therapy. I'll ask about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, relationships, and what you hope to gain from counseling. If we're meeting for your child, we'll also talk about your child's development, family dynamics, and the concerns that led you to seek support. For couples and families, we'll explore each person's perspective while creating a respectful space where everyone feels heard. Together, we'll identify your goals and begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and paced according to your comfort level. You won't be expected to share everything at once. Therapy is a process, and we'll move at a pace that feels safe and meaningful for you. My hope is that you'll leave your first session feeling understood, supported, and confident that we're working together toward meaningful and lasting change.
I believe every individual, child, couple, and family has unique strengths and the capacity for growth. My role is to provide a supportive environment where you feel empowered to overcome challenges, build resilience, and create lasting change. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Therapy. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs, goals, and experiences. With more than 25 years of experience in schools, community mental health, private practice, and telehealth, I've had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing a wide range of life challenges. I believe healing happens through genuine connection, collaboration, practical skill-building, and a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, empathy, and respect. My goal is to help you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with tools you can use in your everyday life.
I work best with any clients who is willing to make an appointment for therapy even if they are fearful and resistant. Many of my clients seek support for anxiety, stress management, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, parenting challenges, and work related issues as well. I work best with clients who are willing to give me a chance, trust the relationship process, so we can put our minds together to develop healthier coping strategies and they are able to gain insight to create positive change for their lives. Last, I work best with clients who are motivated to utilize treatment coping strategies during their therapeutic appointments so they can develop greater balance, clarity, and positive fulfillment as they continue to further positive empowerment.

I use cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify unhelful thought patterns, understand how thoughts impact emotions and behaviors to help develop healthier coping strategies for my clients. This is also by working together collaboratively with my clients to help build positive emotional regulation, problem solving skills to increase balanced and functional patterns in their lives.
In my practive I incorporate mindfulness, values-based goal setting, and coping strategies to help clients move toward meaningful and healthy changes in their daily lives. Using ACT modalities, I help clients build and learn psychological flexibility by learning how to manage difficult thoughts, emotions, and working through emotional overwhelming situations in their daily lives.
I help clients identify their strengthes, build on what is already working, and create realistic, achievable steps toward their goals. Rather than feeling stuck in problems they bring foward, we focus on solutions, coping ideas that will promote lasting growth and meaningful changes in their lives.
I help clients develop present moment awareness, reduce stress, and learn how to respond to their daily challenges with calm, clarity, self compasion, and an on going sense of grounded emotional regulation.
I believe each client has the capacity for growth, healing, and positive change. I my practice, I provide a supportive, nonjudgemental environment where clients can explore their thgouths, emotions, and expriences, and work towards developing greater self-awareness, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.
