When we experience severe trauma or life stressors, our lives can start to collapse into a day-to-day struggle. Our normal coping mechanisms and our support systems can start to fail or no longer be enough to help pull us through the difficult time. The truth is, we cannot change our life experiences, but we can search to find solutions to help us overcome depression, addiction, anxiety, relationship difficulties. We can grow and become aware of our own strengths as we face our struggles. Sometimes we need that extra help to aid us in regaining life balance in our journey of self-discovery.
As a licensed family therapist with eight years of experience, I am passionate about helping adults navigate & explore complex challenges in order to work towards positive changes that are solution based.
Culturally rooted and trauma aware. A therapist who "gets it" without the need to explain culture or values. Those attempting to navigate living in a society that profiles, polices, and dehumanizes People of Color and immigrant bodies. More specifically, I want to create a safe space and invite individuals who are being racially profiled and targeted in public spaces, anxiety tied to immigration status, racial/cultural trauma, emotional impact of racism/deportation fears, shame/guilt, hypervigilance, depression, emotional numbness, family pressure, people pleasing, perfectionism, made to feel "not good enough", feeling responsible for everyone's emotions, cultural identity, internalized shame or silence around your culture/identity/or needs, family expectations, or intergenerational trauma. You may feel torn between cultures, exhausted by the need to explain yourself or burdened by stories and silence that were passed down to you. You are NOT broken, you have been surviving utilizing survival responses, passed down out of love, pain and necessity.

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) who is deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive space where healing and growth can happen. I received my MS in Counseling from Cal State Fullerton and my BA in Psychology from UCLA.
I spent many years in social work, supporting families and youth impacted by abuse and neglect, and later transitioned into the mental health field to continue that work through a therapeutic lens. That experience shaped my understanding of how trauma affects individuals and relationships, and it continues to guide the compassionate, trauma-informed care I offer today.
In recent years, I’ve worked in nonprofit and school settings, providing therapy to adults and teens navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and parenting stress.
Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply needing a space to pause and reflect, I'm here to support you with warmth, curiosity, and respect. It’s a privilege to walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges and discover new possibilities for themselves.
I am Licensed MFT and I help my client to explore their behaviors, thoughts, and emotions in a safe and confidential space. The goal is personal growth and improve mental wellbeing and navigate the client through anxiety, depression, addiction and relationship issues, through collaborative work my client able to gain the tools and insight to deal with the at hand problems and future issues. Developing rapport with my clients is a primary focus and understanding their struggles in their own words, by providing them with safe and nonjudgmental environment.
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience. I earned my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at Vanguard University. As your therapist, my hope is to create a supportive relationship where you will feel validated, heard, and seen within a safe environment. My clients have overcome depression, anxiety, toxic relationships, addictions, grief, and trauma. I look forward to us discovering the best you through our work.
My therapy framework is inspired by Black feminist sci-fi writer Octavia E. Butler who inspired my belief that healing helps us imagine and build worlds beyond the forces that dominate, dehumanize, and disconnect. The tools I use to support the exploration of individual, interpersonal, and intergenerational trauma are shaped by abolition that rejects punitive and scarcity mindsets and disability justice which strives to value every body.
I draw from a number of therapeutic approaches that gently uncover without judgment deeply embedded coping strategies that were once necessary for survival but may no longer align with your current sense of self, desire for connection, and movements towards what makes you feel seen and heard. These practices also nurture emotional regulation and self-acceptance, deepen awareness of relational patterns and help you find meaning through creative expression and personal grounding practices such as art, music, time in nature, being with animal children and more that feel truly attuned to who you're becoming.
Together, they help us tend to both the immediate and deeper layers of your experience—supporting clarity, connection, and a more compassionate relationship with yourself and others.

I have had the privilege of serving clients across the lifespan, from adolescents navigating identity and transitions to older adults seeking balance, healing, and meaning in their later years. All things are interconnected. To feel better, you have to act better. To feel better, you have to think better. To think better, you have to feel better. To act better, you have to think better. To think, feel, and act better, you have to care for your physical health. To care for your physical health, you have to think, feel, and act better. Each has a corresponding effect on the other. However, the aspect of ourselves that we have the most direct control of is what we do, our acting. While we can influence other people, we cannot control other people. A great source of conflict and unhappiness results from our efforts to control others. If you want better relationships, the only thing we can control is what we do, how we choose to relate. We are responsible for what we do. Others are responsible for what they do. Accepting this fundamental reality and thinking, feeling, and acting in accordance with it is how we increase our experience of power, freedom, belonging, meaning and, very importantly, fun.
My professional experience includes over 30 years of post-Master’s clinical work, including leadership experience in foster care, chemical abuse and addiction, inpatient and outpatient mental health services, and crisis intervention, de-escalation, and hospitalization. I am experienced in working with ages three through the elderly. I have worked extensively with youth and families, diverse populations and life issues, providing services in various settings, including family homes, schools, juvenile detention facilities, jails, outpatient clinics, and inpatient psychiatric facilities.
I am a licensed clinical social worker who has been practicing for 8 years and enjoys the power of healing through seeking deeper understanding of self discovery. I enjoy many activities including the outdoors and physical fitness. I value family and focus on creating a closeness in interpersonal relationships. I am passionate about giving to others and helping those who seek to gain an understanding of self improvement.
Growing up I was challenged with depression and anxiety along with familial dysfunction. When I heard about psychology in sixth grade, I decided I wanted to be a psychologist. After starting a family and enduring an abusive marriage I went back to school to become a mental health therapist. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and challenging others to open their minds to a different way of thinking. Working with individuals as well as parents and couples is rewarding and fostering change for healthier relationships is truly beautiful.

Hi! I'm Nick and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in helping adults who are ready to move beyond just surviving and into a place of genuine connection and wholeness. I understand the profound weight you’ve been carrying for so long, whether it is the shadow of childhood trauma, navigating addiction or recovery, or the deep fatigue of not being fully seen.
If you’ve spent years trying to hold it all together, navigating the world as a man, a trauma survivor, someone who is queer, neurodivergent, or in recovery, you may have learned to mask, people please, or stay small simply to survive. I specialize in supporting those who have felt fundamentally “othered” because of their identity, their sensitivity, or their complex struggles.
My approach can be direct, relational, and deeply connected. You will not find judgment in our sessions. What you will find is honesty, profound compassion, and the kind of authentic support that allows you to safely let your guard down. I believe the most transformative healing happens in relationship through empathy, attunement, and having the space to be fully yourself, without the need for code-switching, masking, or minimizing any part of your experience.
I bring warmth, humor, and realness into our work, meeting you exactly where you are today. Therapy with me is a genuine partnership, focusing on what you need, rather than a rigid prescription. We will collaborate to heal early wounds, develop profound self-compassion, and cultivate a life where you feel a sense of belonging in your own skin.
If any of this resonates and if you are ready for a change and a relational experience with someone who understands your journey, I would be honored to connect with you.
I’m a trauma-informed, relational therapist who believes healing happens in the presence of genuine connection. I trust that you already carry an inner wisdom, and therapy becomes the place where that wisdom can finally settle, strengthen, and come forward. Many clients come to me after long stretches of self-doubt, survival mode, or relationships that made them question their instincts.
My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded. I draw from EMDR, somatic therapy, relational and psychodynamic work, and a person-centered foundation. You’re never expected to push past your limits — we go at a pace your nervous system can truly handle. Together we explore the patterns shaping your life, reconnect with what feels true in your body, and practice new ways of relating to yourself and others.
I’ve spent years supporting clients through trauma recovery, attachment wounds, harmful or confusing relationships, and the slow, meaningful work of rebuilding self-trust. Therapy with me is a place where complexity is welcome, where you don’t have to hold everything alone, and where the goal is reconnection — to your strength, your intuition, and your sense of possibility.

Hello. my name is Diane Gibbs and i have been a licensed clinical social worker since 2008. I have worked inpatient and outpatient mental health.
I am Rogerian trained, which means i have awareness of my boundaries and the clts boundaries. I am clt centered, being aware of my transference in the therapy relationship; often using the transference for clt growth. I am humanistic, which means any one of us can experience disturbance of mood, thought, or emotion; simply because we are human. As a clt centered therapist my role is to hold a mirror up as to allow the clt to witness their experience and offer reccomendations for tx plan. Also, empowering the clt to connect and use their strengths; support, spirituality or agnostic beliefs. I have used various modality interventions including meditation, visualization, and exposure acclimation. I have worked with 5 yo to 80+ yr old. My experience is broad, from post partum to end of life issues and many life stages in between. Whether its anxiety or depression. From bipolar to
ocd or schizophrenia; i work at creating a safe environment where boundaries are clear and the clt feels free to discuss their issues in safety and privacy.
Counseling can be a place where you make meaningful changes in yourself and your life. I tend to focus on strengths and use Coaching and Positive psychology. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT) can be helpful to change your thought process and develop new coping skills. EMDR and Brainspotting are both very effective for quick trauma relief. Please note I have a special interest in working with the LGBTQ community and consider myself an Ally.🌈
I look forward to working with you!
