Hello, I'm Amber Potter, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience. I work with people who are open to growth and curious about the patterns shaping their relationships and experiences. I’m especially drawn to clients who are learning to accept themselves more fully, including the parts that feel imperfect or stuck. Together, we will work toward greater understanding, resilience, and meaningful change.
I'm so glad you're taking this step to prioritize your mental health—it's the foundation of everything else in life.
As a mother of three young adults, including boy-girl twins and a neurodivergent daughter, and with experience as a psychologist, coach, and leader in both tech and education, I bring a wide range of lived experience to my work.
I work with individuals and families at all stages of life, helping them release outdated mindsets and adopt empowering new ones by uncovering the root causes, patterns, and obstacles that hold them back. My approach integrates neuroscience, cognitive psychology, positive psychology, and depth psychology, always focusing on creating meaningful connections that unlock new possibilities.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I hold an unwavering belief in each person’s boundless potential. By focusing on what truly matters, we can always transform challenges into opportunities.
Do you often feel missed by the people in your life? When you look forward does it sometimes feel impossible to experience something new?
As an Authentic Relating Facilitator, Nonviolent Communication Practitioner, and Licensed Therapist, I have a deep desire to attune to you and your world. Together we can illuminate the patterns and roads blocks that you have been experiencing. You need to know where you are to get to where you want to go. We can build a map to get you there.
Once we have a map of where we are headed, we will practice the skills needed to get to your desired life. Some of the skills we will use to navigate the terrain are mindfulness, somatic and mind-body practices, written word exploration, feelings and needs awareness, and vision/goals work.
Ready to take the journey? Schedule a free consultation to answer any questions you may have. You know the way, and I’d be honored to accompany you.
Hola! I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be fully yourself- without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
As a first-generation daughter of immigrants, I understand the complexities that can come with navigating family expectations, identity, relationships, and the pressure to be strong and independent. I work with adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected from themselves, or simply ready for something to change. My approach is warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed, while also giving you practical tools you can use in your everyday life.
My own healing journey has shaped the way I show up as a therapist. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable and finding someone you genuinely connect with is so important. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported and empowered to better understand yourself and move toward a life that feels more authentic.
Hi, I'm Eliana.
I received my M.S. in Counseling at California State University, Los Angeles. I have been working in the mental health field since 2014.
I began my professional career working in both outpatient and school-based services with children, adolescence, and parents. For the last 5 years I have been working with adults (18+) through telehealth. I have been able to demonstrate true compassion, dedication to clients’ well-being, and outstanding work ethic. I am also bilingual in Spanish and have been able to offer services to a diverse population.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step my approach is all about making the process feel comfortable, supportive, and down-to-earth—like a real conversation, not a clinical checklist.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, going through a big life change, or just feeling stuck, we’ll figure things out together at your pace. I bring a warm, relaxed, and non-judgmental energy to every session, and my goal is to create a space where you can be your full self—laugh, cry, vent, reflect, explore… whatever you need, it's all welcome.
I've had the privilege of working with kids, teens, and adults, and I understand that each stage of life comes with its own ups, downs, and curveballs. No matter where you are on your journey, we’ll start there—no pressure, no pretense. Just real talk and real support.
Are you sick and tired of the same patterns and routines? Do you feel overwhelmed and find it difficult to keep up with your work, relationships, and health? Are you feeling stuck because of your anxiety and depression? Do you struggle with making it through the day or having a healthy work/life balance? Is your inability to manage emotions and stress impacting your daily life? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? Whether you're dealing with feeling overwhelmed, relationship issues, unresolved issues from childhood, work dissatisfaction and burnout, or cycles of anxiety and depression... I'm here to help.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California. I received my Master's degree from the University of Michigan. I have been practicing as a clinician for the past 9 years and have been in private practice for the past 5 years. I love my career and what it has enabled me to do. I help my clients normalize their mental health journey.
Hi, I'm Cheri, a licensed marriage and family therapist in California. If you're stuck in a loop of intrusive thoughts, checking, or needing to feel certain, I know how exhausting that can be, and I help teens and adults find their way out of it.
The approach I use most is called Exposure and Response Prevention, or ERP. In everyday terms, we take small, manageable steps toward the things that scare you, without giving in to the urge to check or seek reassurance, so anxiety gradually loses its grip. I also draw on CBT, ACT, and mindfulness to help you feel steadier along the way.
Together, we'll build your comfort with uncertainty so you can spend less time managing fear and more time living the way you want to. Therapy with me is collaborative and practical, and we'll move at a pace that feels right for you.

As a proud Latinx, cisgender woman and the first in my family to earn a college degree, I understand the strength it takes to navigate multiple worlds — balancing cultural expectations, family responsibilities, and personal goals. In our work together, I offer a culturally affirming and inclusive space where your story matters. Whether you’re exploring generational patterns, identity, or simply seeking relief from life’s pressures, I bring both personal insight and professional experience to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
You don’t have to navigate this journey alone. Let’s connect and see how therapy can support your growth and well-being.

You do too much, and have a hard time saying, "No." Now, imagine what it would feel like when you finally speak up for yourself, and feel appreciated for all that you do.

Hi, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, practicing in Northern California for 20+ years. I believe everyone has inner wisdom that is often difficult to access when we have dealt with trauma, fear, shaming and abuse. My goal is to help clients access the parts of themselves that they feel disconnected from or would like to develop further. I believe very strongly that healing and change are possible at any age! I like to teach skills that help with finding the strong parts of each person, that may have been suppressed or cut off, due to life circumstances.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I have over 20 years of experience providing bilingual, culturally responsive psychotherapy in a variety of settings, including community-based therapy, counseling centers, and within hospital & medical facilities.
In my practice, I create a compassionate, non-judgmental and welcoming space to help clients navigate life's challenges, and uncover and maximize their own strengths. I was born in the US, but I was raised in Mexico. I lived in Tijuana for 10 years when my parents decided to move us across the border to Chula Vista, California. As a first-generation Mexican-American, I experienced a duality of cultures. I was often judged for either being “not Mexican enough” OR “not American enough.” I also faced enormous pressure to be successful – to justify my parents’ having left their beloved country so my sibling and I could have a better life. This is one of many reasons I decided to follow this path: to help those who feel alone in their journey. That’s how I felt when acculturating to this country.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at San Diego State University (SDSU). I was going to go directly into the workforce and eventually go back for my master’s, but an awesome professor challenged me to apply right away so I wouldn’t lose momentum. So, that’s what I did. I ended up getting my Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Southern California. It took some time and courage to finish all my licensing requirements, but it was worth it! I’ve been licensed as a clinical social worker in California since 2019. I am certified in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with over 36 years of experience. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, I’ve had the opportunity to work in diverse settings across Florida, Puerto Rico, and California. My background also includes university teaching, leading workshops and webinars, and consulting in various capacities.

Life can feel overwhelming when past experiences continue to show up as anxiety, stress, or emotional exhaustion. You may notice patterns that don’t make sense, feel stuck in survival mode, or carry a heaviness you can’t quite name. Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what’s beneath the surface, and begin responding to life with more clarity and self-compassion. You don’t have to navigate difficult seasons alone—healing is possible, and support can make the path forward feel more steady and manageable. I also work in afternoons and evenings to ensure everyone gets a chance to be seen.

Hi, My name is Aaron and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who loves to see people start taking more control over their life and empowering them to become the mature, healthy person that they've always wanted to be. I've found that many people get bogged down by false lies/narratives that they have in their heads like, "I'm not good enough", "I can't handle it", or the all too common "I don't deserve ... ".
These lies, whether we realize it or not, end up impacting many area's of our life, especially the way we view ourselves. With me, my hope is that you will have a transformative experience in the way you look at yourself and believe in yourself. My goal is for you to grow in believing, "There are many good things about me and that's enough", or "I actually can handle it, and I can figure things out" or "I actually do deserve ..."
When you grow in actually believing these things, it's amazing how much more mature, healthy and confident you become. You can actually re-write the way you think about yourself and you can experience life to the fullest!
My focus is on providing a safe, supportive space for high-achieving women navigating life transitions. I work with ambitious women who appear put-together on the outside, but are quietly navigating stress and a sense of disconnection on the inside. Together, we’ll quiet the self-doubt and help you feel more connected to yourself again.
I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2013 and have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #75356) since 2017.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California specializing in women’s mental health, infertility, and the transition to motherhood. I support women navigating IVF and donor conception, pregnancy, postpartum, and matrescence, as well as women seeking deeper self-understanding and connection with themselves. My work is especially meaningful for women wanting to shift patterns of people-pleasing, strengthen boundaries, and develop greater self-trust and compassion.
Hi, I’m Kendal McDowell and I have years of experience working with teens and older, with a primary focus on working with college students and college athletes. Having been a college athlete myself, I'm familiar with the joys and stressors of collegiate life. College can be an exciting and eye opening experience, but sometimes it can also open our eyes to some things within ourselves or those around us we may not have noticed before.
Your life is changing and you’re not sure why you’re not handling it better. In my work with clients, I’ve seen that even good changes can make usually well-adjusted people struggle with day-to-day stress that didn’t seem to be a challenge in the past. I’ve worked with people who struggle with communicating emotions, prioritizing themselves, or feeling like their best is not good enough. If you feel like you can identify with those experiences and are not sure how to change things, I’d love to work with you.
Hi, I'm Amanda, and I help people exhausted from fighting their mind finally find peace with it.
By the time most people find me, they're worn down—not just by overwhelm and defeat, but by the effort of white-knuckling it. Capable on the outside. Exhausted on the inside. Wondering if this is just who they are.
That’s not the whole story
I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual work with adults, parents, and caregivers. Over the past 15 years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside hundreds of people as they moved from survival mode to a life that actually feels like their own. I hold a Master's degree from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and I bring both the clinical depth of that training and the wisdom of real-world practice to every session.
My approach is collaborative and personalized — because you're not a diagnosis or a checklist, and therapy shouldn't feel like one. I'm a creative thinker by nature, and I use that to bring fresh perspectives to our work together, while also providing the structure and direction that meaningful progress requires. In our early sessions, we'll take time to understand what's really going on and build a clear, intentional plan that fits your life. Most of my clients notice a real, positive shift within the first month.
A steady, meaningful life isn't something other people get to have. It belongs to you, too. If you're ready to stop managing and start actually living, I'd love to connect.
Hello, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. University of California, Berkeley (UCB) for the AB in English and University of San Francisco (USF) in Counseling. Because of my personal experiences with having seizures when I was younger, I now concentrate on addressing the emotions and hopes and dreams of people who are dealing with the multiple, and often times consuming, issues of having a seizure disorder as well as any combination of realities and histories that equal the seizure experience. Please let me know if I can bring a more balanced picture to your life and those who you value and love in your life as well.
It takes courage to accept and seek help and set out on your recovery journey. My focus in our work will be on meeting you where you are at and in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where we can collaborate and explore what can be helpful in addressing your needs, wants, and barriers to getting them met.
Together, we will challenge ourselves to show up authentically in relationship so we can examine the areas of your life that you would like support in. These areas can often include examining how systemic and cultural factors influence our perception of ourselves, others, and the world.
My hope in our work together is that you'll come away with a renewed sense of self and identity that not only addresses the hardships and challenges you have endured, but also empowers you to affirm your sense of agency, and make your mark on the world.
