I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) providing individual therapy to adults (18+) across Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. My journey to becoming a therapist began with a deep desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. This passion led me to pursue a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology, giving me insight into both human behavior and the systems that shape our experiences. From there, I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work, building a strong foundation to guide, support, and empower those I work with.
My practice is grounded in a client-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed philosophy. I view therapy as a partnership, with your voice and perspective at the center. I draw from approaches such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), EMDR, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to meet your needs and support meaningful progress.
Compassionate care. Practical strategies. Meaningful change.
With 25 years of experience as a clinical social worker, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges, strengthen their emotional well-being, and achieve meaningful personal growth.
I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, and significant life transitions. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and solution-oriented, combining evidence-based interventions with practical strategies tailored to each client's needs.
I believe therapy should be more than a place to discuss challenges. It should also provide opportunities to gain insight, develop healthier patterns, and build the confidence needed to create lasting change.
