My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a goal-oriented talk therapy that helps clients change unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors to improve their mood and manage life's challenges. It works on the principle that a client’s thoughts, feelings, and actions are interconnected, teaching clients to identify negative thoughts, challenge their accuracy, and replace them with more realistic ones, leading to healthier behaviors and coping strategies for conditions like depression, anxiety, insomnia, and chronic pain.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a cognitive-behavioral treatment for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and related problems. The overall goals of CPT are to improve PTSD symptoms, and associated symptoms such as depression, anxiety, guilt, and shame. It also aims to improve your day-to-day living. CPT consists of 12 individual (one-on-one) therapy sessions. Each session lasts 50–60 minutes. These sessions involve learning about the symptoms of PTSD and why people develop it. Sessions will identify and explore how trauma(s) have changed thoughts and beliefs, and how some of these ways of thinking may keep clients “stuck” in symptoms. CPT does not involve repeatedly reviewing the details of your trauma(s). However, clients will be asked to write about the impact of their experiences in order to understand how it have affected a client's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is a type of talk therapy based on CBT that teaches skills to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and reduce self-destructive behaviors, focusing on balancing acceptance with change. It's particularly effective for individuals struggling with a persistent pattern of intense emotions and relationship challenges. Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), self-harm, chronic suicidality, and also treats It has shown effective reducing symptoms of depression, PTSD, eating disorders, and substance abuse by building practical skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
