New to Grow
Hello and welcome! I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina. I offer a compassionate, client-centered approach that meets you where you are. I support individuals navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, caregiving stress, and life transitions, helping you feel less alone and more empowered. My journey into therapy comes from a deep, lifelong calling to help others. With over a decade of experience in social work, I’m honored to walk alongside you as you navigate life’s challenges and move toward healing and growth.
A first session with me is warm, supportive, and paced at the client's comfort, focusing on building trust, understanding their story, and identifying what they hope to gain from therapy.
My strengths as a therapist include creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, gain new perspectives, and build on their strengths. I balance empathy with gentle guidance and provide a warm, clear, and collaborative communication style. This approach helps clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I am best positioned to support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. I work well with clients who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain, but are open to learning new ways of coping and improving their overall well-being. I enjoy working with clients who are motivated for growth, even if they’re unsure where to start. Together, we focus on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and creating realistic, achievable goals in a supportive and nonjudgmental space.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking and coping. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each client’s needs. I provide tools and strategies that clients can use in their daily lives to support meaningful, lasting change in a supportive and nonjudgmental space.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore their goals, build motivation, and navigate ambivalence about change. Through a supportive and nonjudgmental approach, I guide clients in identifying their strengths and making choices that align with their values. My goal is to empower clients to feel confident and ready to create meaningful, lasting change.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify their strengths and focus on practical solutions rather than problems. Together, we build on what’s already working and set clear, achievable goals. My approach is collaborative, empowering, and focused on creating meaningful change in a short period of time.
Strength-Based
I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize and build on their existing abilities, resilience, and resources. Rather than focusing solely on challenges, I support clients in identifying what is already working and how those strengths can be used to navigate difficulties. In practice, I collaborate with clients to foster self-awareness, increase confidence, and develop practical strategies that align with their values and goals. My goal is to empower clients to feel capable of creating meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
